Nice to see 3V's getting the recognition they deserve. There's a reason I've hung onto mine and am building mine. One of these days when people finally realize how plentiful they are and cheap they are going to become the next 5.0 (not talking about the new generation 5.0's). Then the aftermarket will pick up for them and you will have options a plenty for making a decently fast 3V if not very fast 3V.

The 3V is my favorite engine Ford made. It’s nowhere near as good as the Coyote in terms of power output however they sound wicked! I love the 4.6L modular engines! Great video as always

Where are you adding fuel at “tip in” I’m having the same issue with my 3v right at tip in going lean 15. -16. It’s quick but I can feel it and watch it on my wide band but can’t find the right spot to add fuel 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 point me in the right direction I’d greatly appreciate it

So I'm looking at getting Into drag racing and I own a 2007 3v. Wanting to stay pretty much stock motor and stock 5 speed manual trans (for now). What should I do to it to keep it reliable and run pretty fast? I don't want to build the motor, I'm planning on swapping it in a few years anyways

@@JonsDailyHustle Catch can is one of those mods that is for sure needed, JLT makes the best one for the 3V. I also recommend their cold air intake. I do not recommend removing the charge motion unless your doing forced induction. too much tq is lost with the delete plates. trust me, I did so when my car was N/A and regret that I did.

i spent some months without my ebrake because the line broke (faulty unit) ford took almost half a year to get it replaced under warranty, and omg all i could do is keep a thick wooden piece to put under the wheels hahaha, it was so awful and on top of that mine is a 5speed manual, so go figure always trying to find non steep terrains to park xD

Hey Alex I know this is a bit off topic I just purchased a UPR catch can and also got the crankcase breather that replaces the oil cap and also the high flow PCV fitting. Some people are saying online that the high-flow PCV fitting will lead to a lot of oil consumption through the catch can will the fact that I have the crankcase breather eliminate a good amount of the oil that will flow through that high flow PCV fitting from UPR? So I have a 2018 mustang gt anyway today I went to check my oil because Ive had my car for like three months already so start my car let it get to operating temperature then turn the sucker off then I let it sit for like ten minutes then I check the oil on it what do I find on the oil dip stick there is no sight of oil on the dip stick so I instantly check my front cover and engine oil pan and bell housing area for leaks no leaks were found so I decided to rack my car cause I did this at work and remove my drain plug to see how much comes out of it only five qt of oil came out of this bitch so I’m like what the fuck from their I decided to just do a oil change on the spot well so I get to thinking like how tf fuck does this happen and there’s only to answers here either my motor is burning oil or from ford assembly they did not add the correct amount of oil this hella dirty luckily I checked it before anything else happened so if you guys have any 2018-2019 mustangs check your oil

You need to build the engine internals if you want more than 500 hp

IT's the engine, not just exhaust, your stock 3v won't ever sound like this unless you have all of his mods and his engine is highly modified.
