Music Video: Guru Singh & Seal & Friends Song Title: "I AM WHO I AM" This video was made in conjunction with the 'Worldsong Peace Concert" and global village at the 2002 winter Olympic Games.
Sat Nam Guru Singh and Seal..I will and affirm it write a song Guru Singh will be behind musically as in this lifetime I was led to Guru Singh to heal the world from bullying and pain via our use of pride in our music and to never stop believing we deserve to be loved and I am who I am is the best song on this planet......it has been with me for years.....
i first heard this disc when living in Crestone, a spiritual hub in Colorado, where i went to school for massage. Such a touching song. Turn it up and sing along!
Beautiful song and great lyrics....heard it for the first time at a meditation retreat a while ago .. "I am who you are looking back.... you are who i am can you imagine that" So true. We are all one. Amazing music... Thanks!
Digging this song lately. I, too, enjoy polytheism and see the problem of exclusiveness in monotheism. But maybe my love of this song is showing me it's time for me to see all deities as an expression of the one divine spirit, just as we are all one.
WOW! I’m starting my day with your soul-lifting morning offering. I searched for songs by Guru Singh to include in a note I’m sending to a group of friends and was rewarded with your video. I looked no further. FYI - I originally was introduced to Guru Ganesha Singh via my kundalini yoga practice and even got to see him at a yoga studio here on Long Island, NY. Namaste ❤
I love Guru Singh's music ! It makes me happy and I just play it on a loop and sing along all day long. It never gets old - I never hear it and go Oh no, not this again! Maybe it's weird, but I am who I am, and that is that...hahahaaa!
I also love this song, I am a yoga teacher, I haven't used it in classes... The only part that doesn't resonate all the way with me is "There is one god, that's a fact."
Camino Hacia La Luz - Heidi Delatierra / Many people do not like the dogmatic expression of monotheism. Yet many too see the concept of Oneness beyond all divisions as unifying and beautiful.
The definition of God is the Supreme Controller and that is stated in the Vedas where he learned this Truth. In Hindu Religion there are 33 million gods and goddesses. There is a Supreme Godess above all others as well. That is an esoteric Truth not known to the Christian conception of Divinity .
Thanks everyone!! Sometimes we sing this song together at community music nights and we modified the lyrics to say "We are all one and that's a fact. Joy to the world, peace on the earth!! God bless her children, how we love them." And yeah, we talk at the beginning about how "God" can be whatever each person resonates with, "the creator" "mother earth" etc.
Nice! Bruce, the chords are: D major, E Maj, F# Min, B7 if I recall correctly. Also, the album title is "Game of Chants" not "Chance." Fun play on words.
nice song, nice vid, even if i dont believe in god, but i respect people that do, i really like this song, it makes me feel alive or something like that
agreed-- that line sort of surprised me. heard this song in yoga yesterday. I also believe in multiple Gods, and I think the line "there is one God and that's a fact" is in very poor taste. especially considering my ancestors were polytheistic and were converted to monotheism by war, violence and conquest. if you can't see why someone could feel that way, then that's a pity.
There is One God and Guru Singh is correct as this is confirmed in the Brahma Samhita that are many Ishvaras or Controllers but there is a Param Ishvara or Supreme Controller who is known as God.
I really like this song, except for the line "There is one God, and that's a fact." A fact is a Universal truth that can be proven...no one can prove the existence of God, therefore it's not a fact. I believe there are multiple Gods. Otherwise, this song is lovely.

I really hate the phrase in here "there is one god and that's a fact". that is so biased and ignorant.
