I think it would sound awesome and be really mean looking with a set of DR red strings and tuned low-B E A G. Basically the top 4 strings of a 5 string set.

This is a more of a take on the ESP Phoenix 1000, you can tell from the reverse headstock and the fact that the lower cutout is shaped like the Phoenix and less the epi/gib. HB did an actual TBird copy a few years back
Its a set in neck. This Base looks killer.

Aside from that pick guard, it looks pretty badass. I had an Epiphone Thunderbird Pro IV in my collection for about 6 years. It just wasn't for me. Just recently sold it and bought another Musicman

-move the E string tuner to the other side of the head and closer to the player in order to a 3 and 1 style. Helps neck dive
- replace electronics with high end after market
- replace bridge
- remove pick guard
What you all think?
If you replace the pickguard with a alien neon purple colored one (or paint the one on it that color) and replace the strings with neon bass strings I think you will have a LOT of style going on.
Do I need a special case to carry it because I have the “classic” style of guitar case as in 🎸 style

Would you reccomend this since epiphone is too expensive(700 bucks) for black metal? Thanks in advance.
In the thomann website it says "in stock within 8-11 weeks" so when you bought the bass did it say the same and arrived soon to the States?
I think it might be out of stock right now, when I ordered it was ready next day, it didn't say in stock within 8 - 11 weeks

The only thing I always worry about with T-Birds is neck dive.
I always feel like it would come off my strap and hit the ground

I don’t know how to pronounce rosesacer either, but I know Aceracea, [ayserayseeay] is the genus name for maple trees.
So…I would tend to pronounce roseacer…rozayser. But since it’s a made-up word….who really knows?

How's the neck dive on this bass?
Not nearly as severe as on an Epiphone Thunderbird. But still very annoying.
We have fixed it easily by shortening the headstock by a few centimetres and move the tuners to a 3+1 configuration. All gone now, it´s perfect.
How much was the shipping? I live in California btw.

@@Griefhand I just took it apart, there's no electronics back there, only the wholes from the screws for the pickguard, no cavity. :)

Just looked it up, that's a nice looking bass!
200 vs 2000 dollars. I don't know. Gibson can't even fix their headstock. I'd rather go with harley benton.
