Did that pump get all the oil out? I was only able to get about 3-1/2 to 4 quarts out. I did have the fill plug out tho. Maybe that was letting too much air in?
Good point. I think I said in the video that the hand pump got more out after I used the electric pump so I prefer the hand pump. The new pump I never got to fit so I have to do something home brew to make it fit when I get time. In the meantime, I use the circa 1989 hand pump that works but is leaking at the top of the pump and is messy. I think the hand pump works better because it has suction in the tube. The key is to change you oil and filter often so small amounts of water don't form in the bottom of the oil pan and rust out the very expensive and difficult to replace oil pan. Pain in the neck but thats what I do. Next time I plan to have oil pan fabricated to my specs so it will be more durable. I like this company for oil pans. stefs.com/
