- Been messing around with that "leaked build" of DR everyone's been posting things from recently.
Found a room just labled "POST_ROARING" and walked around for a bit, no idea if this is meant to be found in a normal run or not yet, will keep yall updated.

If you couldn't tell by now, this is an ANIMATION and NOT REAL.
However I'm flattered that so many of you actually thought it looked real :)

I really hope the vessel we made comes into play somehow, and this would be the best way. Though I think Kris would be fighting us of their own volition.

If you start a save file from scratch on chapter 2 you don't get to create a vessel, so how would that go on a chapter which needs them?
@@DamageMaximo Same thing they did with the thrash machine (And most of the ch.2 effecting things in ch.1) use some default design, pre-determined by toby.

The thing is, i named it amogus
Based on how incredibly undertale broke the 4th wall, I'd think toby has something better up his sleeve. like taking the name of your pc and using it instead of just "you." If the PC's name is 2 words, just use the first. If the PC's name is a huge word, just shorten it with some kind of sensory system which knows just where to cut it off.
I do want to interact with Kris when we're out of their body, not pulling their strings. Never considered a fight against them! Incredibly interesting take
The concept that Kris's life is controlled by the soul but they still need it to live on their own is really fucked
Well, it doesn't wholly apply. Kris _can_ live and act without his SOUL in the real world. Perhaps the physics of a Dark World (which would spill out in the real world Post-Roaring) prevent him from doing so.

This makes the most sense, because if you chose genocide your fight would be against a much much stronger kris

@@chuckles2364 you can legit call yourself anything and then chara would go "i am [name]" so calling yourself, per se, "bitch" would make chara call themselves "i am bitch", this would very much work

HOLY SHIT- okay, this fake leak actually is an amazing concept and NEEDS to be in the game, i cannot express that enough. Just as spamton has represented- for vessels or part vessels, they need their strings to survive, in this case, kris's puppetstrings are our soul. If the bonds were to break and kris wouldn't immediately die out, their own DETERMINATION, especially as shown when ripping our soul out, keeps them alive for just enough time to do what needs to be done. That's what keeps them going, their own desire. What happened to kris's soul, no one knows. For all we know we have taken over a soul that is rightfully theirs, but to see a fight where kris summoned puppet strings seemingly out of nowhere means that- they aren't going down without a fight. This looks epic and i honestly want to see a finished product (even though chances are slim to see this complete 👀) great job on this btw! You are a genius! ^^

what if you deal extra damage based on the things you selected in the character create screen such as the vessel would deal more damage if you chose pain as his favorite flavor or something
would be funny if when choosing Pain as the favorite flavour the vessel would actually take 5% less damage

Remember everyone, just like undertale, you aren't always the hero. So don't treat Kris like the villain, like many people did with Chara.
I like to imagine that Toby would be so proud of fans making these "leaks" and animations he lets them do the rest of the chapters.
This is really well-made, a very clean transition and the relevance of the initial vessel is very interesting. Excellent work!

This isn't a leak, he's only working on 3,4 and 5 right now (Toby)
one of the theories i practically live by is that the character creator thing is actually really important, so seeing this actually made me think it was real for a second and i got so hyped lmaoooo
This is one of the most true-to-game depictions of my main Deltarune theory.
Chapter 1 lightly touched on the idea that you and Kris are two different entities, chapter 2 took this concept and turned the dial to 11 with Snowgrave. Why? Because (from what I understand, I wasn't in this community as much at the time) the community kept asking for a genocide route or kept complaining about/bringing up the lack of one. The PLAYER craves violence, and forced it into existence, reaching beyond one character's control to twist another into a blade.
Each chapter following 2 will have more genocide options to satiate the Player's craving for violence.
Kris knows they're being controlled and does resent us to a degree.
Also, "Egg" in Wingdings spells out hand symbols pointing left, up, up, which matches a Knight chess piece...
The Vessel we made will be instrumental to Kris obtaining freedom from us, and they will fight us even in a pacifist route. Sparing Kris would resume the pacifist or neutral route, killing them would lead to a genocide end.
If Sans is the same funny 4th wall breaking bone man we know from before, he may try to interfere.
i like the idea of sans just interrupting our climatic fight with Kris like
"stop that you aren't supposed to do this."
If Toby added the goddamn THRASH MACHINE in chapter two there's a chance we might actually have the discarded vessel in a future chapter

Ooooo I LOVE this, especially how the heart shows up the closer you get to the mirror, showing you're in danger. l've had a similar idea of making a "weapon drawn" animation for the discarded vessel with the soul popping out in front of them as their "weapon", glad to see you had a similar idea as well for this!

Nope, ending of Ch2 seems to say otherwise. Although it could be entirely possible there are multiple. Who made the Chapter 1 Fountain? Could've been the Vessel, although I highly doubt it. If I may ask, what makes you think the Goner Vessel is The KNIGHT?
This Does Make Me question what the point of the character creator at the beginning was for If You Always play as kris.
theory if this somehow goes canon:
The "vessel" that all of us calls is the representation that Kris has of the one that manipulate him, that's right, us
The way that it happens it could be in one of kris dreams at the start of the chapters i don't like if in the chapter 6 something would happen that kris and all the gang got knocked down in the story and no in a battle then the chapter end up
in the chapter 7 we could start with a little flashback of what happened at the end of the ch6 and "wake" in a dark place and then the vessel goes to take down kris, but it won't be like how it shows here
I think that kris will get out the soul, tired of being controlled and then from the lonely soul a form will get done, the vessel with the one kris represent us
I think that's how it will happen in the canon and it will amazing, but i cannot tell what the bigmind of toby will make for us

Holy sh!t I nearly believed this was true because I was like “oh it’s the vessel what’s happening now” and then when the soul retransferred I thought that it was gonna be canon considering that we never wanted Kris in control, we wished for our own body so Kris could make their own choices

I hope the vessel we make at the start of chapter 1 is actually important for something eventually, holy shit that would be cool, but I think that won't happen since save files made starting on chapter 2 don't lead to you making a customized vessel, so how would that go on one of those save files if a chapter ever needed that vessel? A pre-defined vessel would appear instead?
It could be a default vessel.
Or the game could just stop allowing you to start wherever you want - we only have a demo now, after all.
Or maybe it won’t have a default but the chapter select will still exist, but it’ll be a secret boss that has a requirement of a vessel existing.
Who knows?
There is a default vessel with all the first options except for their gift, which is always the second option "Mind."

This is an incredible theory that I personally think could happen. You know how Kris takes his soul out like 90% of the time? Kris could try and remove the soul permanently and then our character is added and we have to fight Kris to make him a puppet again.
But why would the player want to possess Kris again if they have their own character ?

I love the concept of the character you make in chapter one being who fights Kris here. Really adds to the idea of this being a real leak as i could totally see Toby doing something like this. makes me kinda hope something like this happens in the later chapters
I don't usually comment on fanmade stuff but this is a genuinely cool concept! Though I wonder what it would look like if the vessel walked in from outside the game window or Kris' strings extended to the edge of the monitor. Just kind of have a hunch a visual gimmick like that will be included at some point at Deltarune, and this seems like a good place to use it.

it seems like a chapter 3 secret boss since well at the end of chapter two (spoilers) we make a fountain inside the house, and if you went further into the hall where "Kris"'s room is you find a mirror. And by the text it looks lile it fits for that mirror.
No fighting us the player as a main villan would be a perfect chapter 7 end boss

I was for whatever reason expecting the Peanuts theme to start playing and for the vessel to start dancing to it. Mildly disappointed it was played completely seriously.
I know this video isn't about this but I just wanna tell it to someone bcuz I can't stop thinking about it, I use my first save file as the "serious" one, the other two are for "genocide" and do things like (what happens if I pick this opcion) and things like that, but when there was only first chapter, I was thinking there wasn't going to be more so I didn't play serious and now im afraid of things I did in there like sparing everyone and no Chaos King or dropping Ralsei's manual, I feel like those things will be important in future chapters, and I dont want to do another file because I always think that the first try its the one who counts, and if I do something I didn't like I have no more option to continue in that file, because I feel like that's the "main story" and the other files are like au's
In resume, I am scared because I feel like some desicions I dont liked will be important in the future and it will ruin my game, and also I dont want to restart

well, the intro did say that the vessel would be discarded, which could mean a lot of things, not necessarily *erased*
Interesting implications. While Kris clearly desires acting without his SOUL, as he does in the ending of both chapters released so far... the physics of a Dark World (which would likely spill out into the real world post-Roaring) prevent him from functioning _at all_ without it.

What if the Final Boss is the soulless Kris being manipulated by someone?
What I the "Freedom" everyone is talking about (Jevil, Spamton) is actually being manipulated by Gaster for a possibility?
You have to use your Vessel, and team up with all the others (including Asriel in my Theory) to stop the Evil.
Because on a "Pacifist" Run (I think that each coming chapter will have a Genocide Route just like Ch. 2 did with Snowgrave), you as the Player are a good Entity.
Maybe Ralsei turns out to be Asriel all along and he gathered knowledge about the Player which is why at some Points he gives us suspicious vibes

I think the person who made us take back our own puppet in placement of Kris is the same person who discarded our vessel in the first place. They are probably more interested in Kris now but can’t take him back because we are in control of him
if you look at the side, it says Deltarune (Chapters 6&7). thats a nice little detail
This is super convincing. Even the Earthbound soundfont music totally sounds like the kinda thing Toby’d use for this scene, as it sounds a lot like the Amalgam theme which also uses EB samples
