Notice how Kris shakes when Ivan mentions that they have a vessel.
I’d imagine jealousy of some sort. Kris got stuck with a soul, when they could’ve made a vessel? (Kris would most likely be unaware the player was shoved into them, and if they were aware, they’d be upset Ivan got to make a vessel anyway.)
One slight improvement you could probably make is allowing dialogue options to stay on the screen for longer so we have time to read because I noticed that with some of the dialogue, unless thats intentional.

this is AMAZING!!! i just have some questions/requests
1. is ralsei gonna be here? if so, i wonder what the character dynamic would be between them and niko, and would technically give us 4.5 characters (the 0.5 being The world machine)
2. maybe add a slight tile-based vignette around niko due to having the lightbulb/sun?

2.If you mean highlighting when there's an attack nearby in Overworld, I'll probably leave it purple or put yellow. Time will tell.
@@niko_the_messiah_pancakes epic! also, i just meant like in general the lightbulb/sun should give off a little bit of light, causing there to be a slight shadow around her, so that the tiles further away from niko are slightly darker than the ones closer to her.

We don't know the red player. buy you from another world it could mean the action of both playthroughs determines the character for both (cyan nice ivan) (red snowgrave ivan) Or it's 2 different players (1st seems more likely)

I think Susie was tyring to threaten Ivan on telling where they are and where the exit is. (which is a susie thing in the start i think)

Well, here we go... (spoilers for the video)
First, we need to figure out what are the players exactly. In the Gaster dialogue he confirms that the red soul feels replaced by Ivan (just like Kris was replaced by them), for example when Ivan uses the save point, or even when they just met, as Ivan is using the vessel stolen from them. It is also clearly stated that Gaster speaks to the soul, but still calls them "Ivan" in the end, implying that they are the same player. By now its obvious that Kris isn't the one in control, so we have less questions to answer. Firstly, did Ivan complete a run of Deltarune before, did the soul complete a run of Deltarune before, and are they aiming for the normal route or genocide (being mean in chapter 1 and going for snowgrave)? There is evidence for either answers for these questions, like Kris trying to attack the Vessel, and them not knowing who Lancer is, while also knowing the solution to the puzzle and teh exit from the dark world as the vessel, but not as Kris. And about routing, it looks like the soul does get the option to say that they are present, but they aren't allowed to choose it, basically signing a contract that they were fine with possessing Kris, even if they werent. Whats also interesting is that Gaster mentions the soul playing by their own rules, without telling what actually had upset them. And in 11:10 its looked like an attempt to get rid of the Oneshot part of the group.
Interesting that most of the time The soul gets a few choices, but in the crucial moments they cant use them. However, Ivan usually gets one option that seems to perfectly represent them. Weird

I'm shocked at how long it took you to write this, but let me try to answer some questions:
1. In the gaster's dialog I wanted to make it so that in the beginning it tells Ivan about his vessel, then the guster says "do you have a question?", this is addressed to the second player (who is red highlighted) who should have said "why did he get his vessel and you didn't?", then by the end the message should have been addressed to Ivan that he has 1 try and he needs to think carefully.
2.There are 2 players here, and the moment Kris attacked the vessel, in the dialog selection it said 2 choices it was "He is our enemy" - thinking he would ruin the game for the second player (who plays as Kris), "It wasn't me" - saying it wasn't the Player who hit him, it was Kris.
3.Ivan has already been going through Deltarune since chapter 1 and 2, but as said in the Gaster's dialog, he has improved his experiment, so see how the 2 sides will act (type Player 1 with a blue soul is Ivan; Player 2 playing for Kris with a red soul can be ANY player, for example it could be you).
4.If you watched part 1 of the animation, the World Machine gave the voice to the vessel, as it didn't know that Ivan was playing as the vessel yet. Regarding the vessel, at the beginning of chapter 1 of Deltarune when creating a vessel, we are given a choice of a gift for the vessel. Ivan chose Mind, and the world machine tried to reconfigure the gift option: So the vessel has TWO GIFTS: Mind and Voice.
5. [11:10] Ivan wasn't trying to get rid of Niko in any way, he as in OneShot has to help him get home, and as stated in the very first animation towards the end, The World Machine said to protect Niko, and Ivan will do so.

Your work is awesome, and i cant wait to see the next part, since there were a lot of buildup here. How will Ralsei react to 2 gods? Will he try to please them both perfectly? Will he try to choose who will be able to finish the prophecy? And about that, what is he going to think about extra people? Original party was only 3 (4) people, like in the delta rune (2 lightners, 1 darkner, 1 angel/god)? Will Toriel adopt an another child? There are a lot of questions, so it must be difficult to write the story without it loosing its logic! Thank you a lot for creating this! (those questions btw are just things that are probably going to be relevant in future, so they are rhetoric)

He WILL have to pretend like he doesn't know anything about the Deltarune, because if the OneShot photo of Niko is in the world of Deltarune, then he has to decide: Will he keep the secret between Niko and The World Machine? Or should he tell them everything?

Still, I do look forward to seeing what comes next from you. While 𝑯𝑬 says you only have one shot, I beg to disagree.
