Nice to get up onto that third floor. I've seen posts of this on Facebook in various groups and glad that somebody did a video of it. Looks like part of the ceiling still has Frederick and Nelson Aestetic. Interesting looking store.
I was surprised the third floor was no longer in use when I heard. It was a huge empty space up there. It didn’t had to be downgraded just like other stores but unfortunately, this is the reality. I believe the ceiling belonged to Frederick & Nelson. I honestly thought this store looks interesting and nice. It was smaller compared to the one I went in Hawaii!

2 Sears Stores, one in Union Gap, Washington and the other in Burbank, California have reopened. The Company filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy on October 15, 2018. We Truly Hope they would open up stores in new locations at malls and reopen previously closed stores at malls with changes and new concept along with the departments that went away from / out of / off the market
Northgate Mall in Seattle, Washington closed down and was demolished. That was the first mall of the United States of America built in 1950. There was no Sears there. There was a Macy's, Nordstrom and JCPenney. In 2019, the year of department store closures at mall, JCPenney was the 1st to go in May 2019, followed by Macy's (fmr. The Bon Marche) in July 2019, and last but not least Nordstrom in August 2019. The Sears in Shoreline was a big box store, a stand alone store with a Sears Auto Center and a Sears Outlet, at a plaza with a Marshalls store, where the Sears closed down in April 2018 due to the property being bought... and is now being redeveloped. There are videos of Northgate Mall from 2019 by Greg J. Green and WACALifts International.
