@@elivile. I call every talented artist a king or a queen because while some may be more popular they aren't necessarily above anyone, and everyone deserves to be royalty :)
SHINee are know for be the trendsetter of kpop. They experiment with their music and style since 2008 ( Their debut year 25 of may of 2008) if they do something they are the first on doing it. They debut very Young. The older bean only 18 and the younger 14. Names. Lee Jinkin aka Onew (Leader) Age: 30 age of debut: 18 Kim Jonghyun (Main vocalist) Age: 29 age of debut 17 (passed away in 2017 at the age of 27) Kim Kibum aka Key (lead rapper/ Lead vocal) Age: 28 debut age 15 Choi Minho (Main Rapper) Age:28 Debute age 15 Lee Taemin (Main Dancer/ Lead vocalist) Age: 26 age of debut 14. They are the KING!!! Please react to "Everybody" "Excuse me miss" "Get the treasure"
They are best known for their live stages (their live performances are equally and even more better than their music videos) and are titled and known as Princes of KPOP as they challenged boundaries of a 'typical boy group' and were actually the first group to introduce the "skinny jeans" and colorful outfits. They started so many fashion and music trends that made us see what now is today. They are very very respected in the kpop industry and many idols actually started their dreams and started following their dreams after being inspired by SHINee. . They are named as CDnee because their vocals are better than the music recordings due to their vocal range, powerful voices and stability. - Ring Ding Dong was officially banned in schools especially during exam times because it couldn't get out of students' head and everyone was singing it. React to SHINee Married to the Music, Everybody, Sherlock, Tell Me What To Do and View.
Daughter of Namjin For real. And even till now it’s still played in variety shows when cast are “to be distracted with music” in a game or challenge. There’s also a time it’s used by brides (in Korea) so they don’t cry during their weddings.. Like how can you cry if you have it playing in your head.. lol.
Started listening to SHINee in 2008! 😭😭😭 they're the first k-pop band that introduced me to k-pop in general omg!!! Thank you so much for doing this!♡♡♡♡
You should watch "Married To The Music", "Sherlock", "Replay" and some of Taemin and Jonghyun's solo music. For Taemin I recommend, "Danger", "Love", "Want", "Press Your Number" and "Drip Drop". For Jonghyun I recommend, "Shinin" and "Lonely".
Please take a few seconds to vote for Taemin by just clicking the upvote. You can have 10 votes per hour. You don't have to log in or whatsoever just click on the link and click the green arrow for Taemin ♥! t.co/XXahZF36k7
One of the members of SHINee Jonghyun passed away on December 18, 2017. R.I.P Jonghyun. You're forever a member of SHINee. You should definitely react to Taemin. He's a member of SHINee. His songs I recommend: Move Danger Press Your Number Holy Water Thirsty Slave Sexuality Want Tease All of these are my favourite songs... Oof.
I can believe you haven't reacted to SHINee before but I'm so glad that you finally did it. Every thing SHINee has done is totally worth watching. I suggest for the next time you start with their debut song Replay, the greatest debut in all of kpop history. And then pretty much any other song because SHINee doesn't have a single bad song. I'd also suggest to maybe add in some of their solos too. They all have really amazing solo works. Taemin and Jonghyun have the most and are probably the better known solos but Key's and Onew's solo albums are also great. Minho only has one official solo song but it's pretty fantastic too.
I would love to see your reaction to their song *View* and *Sherlock* , those are two of the first songs I heard from them and I love them so much. An other one would possibly be *Our Page* , which sadly doesn't have Jonghyun in it but in was made for him by the other four members and they even leave open a mic for him like a homage.
Thank u for the reaction. Hope to see more 🤗 I suggests their debut song “Replay”, And others such as Sherlock, Dream Girl, Everybody, View, Married To The Music, 1 of 1, Good Evening, and many more 🤷♀️. There’s no such perfect in this world but, they do nothing but greatness 👌 They’re versatile when it come to everything #onlykings so hope u like it 😋
Yes!! Kings!! Thank you for the reaction, Dylan!! ♥️ absolutely any song by them is a huge recommendation!!! Key’s live performance of Born To Shine (it’s a solo performance) is also one heck of a performance. 😉 but anyway. Good Evening, Sherlock, and Replay are all songs I highly recommend of theirs.
I don't know how many times I can thank you for reacting to shinee! But thank you, thank you, thank you! I really hope you check them out a lot more, their music is truly amazing and they are all talented people. They hold a special place in my heart and I just know you will love them. They have some guides and Crack videos as well out there to see
Thank you very much for the reaction, with SHINee you will always be surprised, this band is incredible, these guys are super talented and their songs are varied, they include various musical styles, I suggest Replay, Sherlock, Everybody, 1 of 1, Excuse me Miss , Tell me what to do, Married to the music.
If you want to get into SHINee I think it’s best to consider their music in 3 eras: Classics (2008-2011), Transition (2012-2014), & Modern (2015-present). What you listened to would’ve been classics. If you want to continue listening, there’s one more Classic you must hear: Replay. And then from the transition period: Sherlock & Everybody. Modern: View, Married to the Music, Tell Me What To Do & Good Evening. Most current fans enjoy their modern stuff more than the classics because the MVs are pretty dated. But it’s all phenomenal music! 😊 There is also a huge body of solo work from the members that’s also amazing: Taemin, Jonghyun, Key, Onew & Minho. Taemin’s solo work is the most well known - “Move” is his major hit.
I recognise the rapper Minho from his acting role in Hwarang. He was charming and funny; I enjoyed him in it very much. And he was one of the guys who took 1st time actor Taehyung of BTS under his protective wing and helped him through a very challenging learning curve. Aw. Talented, handsome AND extremely kind Minho :)
Thanks some much for reacting to Shinee most reactors who are new to kpop forget to check out older songs. They were the first 2nd gen kpop group I checked out in 2018 and i regret not knowing them sooner. Shinee songs to react to - Replay (Best Kpop Debut) - View - Everybody Taemin Solo Work - Move - Want - Thirsty - Press Your Number
I'm still at work so I have to wait to watch this BUT YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW EXCITED I AM. SHINee is what got me into kpop 8 years ago now and they're still one of my favorites. Seeing people listen to them for the first time is something I love. 💙💙💙💙
SHINee really are legends in the industry. Their attention to detail and flawless vocals and dancing is what they are known for, and it's why they are so highly respected by their peers. (However, Taemin is always going to standout for his dancing. No one is as good or as powerful as him. Taemin is so passionate about dancing that he puts everything he has into his dancing every time. :D Next to Taemin, everyone looks like they aren't as good when it comes to their dancing. But the rest of the SHINee members are considered some of the best dancers in the industry as well.) The standard every idol in the industry strives to reach is the SHINee standard. SHINee really are one of the most talented and unique groups in Kpop. If you want to see where SHINee truly shines you have to watch some of their live concert footage. I recommend any thing from their SHINee World Concert III (SWC3) in Seoul or their SHINee World Concert IV (SWC4) in Seoul. You can find official DVD footage of the whole concert on RUclips. Can you believe that SM originally wanted to make SHINee a hip-hop group? Hip-hop was the style of music that was really popular in 2008 when they debuted. That's why Key and Minho are both rappers and how Taemin started out as a popper in dance. But as Key tells it, they just didn't have the swag to pull of hip-hop, so SM switched up their sound and style to something that fit them better and they came up with the signature classic SHINee R&B vocals they are now known for. I, for one, am so glad they debuted with their signature R&B style instead of hip-hop. Can you imagine if the world never knew the amazing vocals and sound that is SHINee today? Things would be so different. May 25, 2020 will be SHINee's 12th anniversary. So SHINee are part of the second generation of Kpop and yet they are younger then most everyone in their generation and are the same age, or even younger, than most other groups such as EXO and BTS, etc.which are part of Kpop's third generation. SHINee debuted young and have the experience of seasoned veterans. It just goes to show you why they are legends in the industry. SHINee debuted in 2008 when Onew (the leader and lead vocalist) was 18, Jonghyun (the main vocalist and songwriter) had just turned 18, Minho (the main rapper and sub-vocalist) and Key (lead vocalist and sub-rapper) were 16 and Taemin (Main dancer and lead vocalist) was 14, so now after 11 years they are all in their late to mid-20s. (Onew just turned 30 in December) SHINee are some of the most well respected artists in the industry. The group is currently on hiatus right now because 3 of the members are fulfilling their military obligations. Onew (Pronounced Oh-New, real name Lee JinKi) is the leader of the group and he has one of the most unique and best vocals in the industry. His vocals are unmatched. He even holds the record (40+ seconds) for the longest continuous note without changing tone or pitch or ever being off key, etc. His record still stands today. Onew is currently serving in the military. He is part of the military's promotional team so he is spending a lot of time as a stage actor alongside several other idols who are also serving in the military right now. Jonghyun is known as one of the best vocalist in Kpop who was one of the most prolific songwriters and composers of his generation. Jonghyun wrote and composed over 40% of SHINee's songs, plus he wrote all of his own solo songs and numerous songs for other artists such as EXO's "Playboy" and songs for Taemin, IU and Lee HI, etc., as well as participated in several movie and drama OSTs. He was one of the only SM artists to be given complete artistic control over his work, including several of SHINee's song selections. SM knew that if Jonghyun was involved in any way that the song would be a hit. He was extremely respected within the industry as a songwriter, composer and singer. As the main vocalist, Jonghyun is the one you hear with all the amazing high notes and R&B runs and ad libs most of the time. Key is our diva and fashionista of the group who is SHINee's stylist for a lot of their MVs and stage outfits. SHINee are known for setting trends and never being afraid to experiment with their sound or look, so Key is known for really paying attention to detail when it comes to fashion. He is known for always being unique and wanting to standout. He is an amazing singer and is a sub-rapper in the group. He is also known as SHINee's dance copy machine. Key has the ability to see and remember choreography the fastest in the group. He only needs to watch the dance once and he has it memorized. He is also SHINee's fluent English speaker, and he is almost as good as a native speaker. Key is serving in the military right now as well. He is part of the military band. Minho is the main rapper and visual of the group, but his vocals are also some of the best in the industry. Minho sings just as much as he raps. He also writes most of his own raps in SHINee's songs. Minho is one of the top actors in the industry and he has starred in numerous dramas and movies. Minho is also known as a top athlete. He says these days he goes to the gym a couple of times a day to work out just because he likes to work out. but he is also crazy about soccer, and he plays basketball, baseball and golf, and he is good at track and field events, etc,, as well. And not only does he enjoy playing all those sports, but he is usually the best athlete on the field and he pretty much wins every time. There is a reason why Minho's nickname is "Flaming Charisma," and one reason is for his intense passion for sports and his need to always win. He currently is serving in the military and is a member of an elite branch of the Marines. And as you probably now know, Taemin is considered one of THE BEST dancers in the industry and that's not just by fans but by everyone in the industry, both young and old. Taemin's nickname is the Korean Michael Jackson. From the very beginning, even at 14 years old, Taemin was known as one of the best dancers in the industry, and you will soon discover with the more that you watch from SHINee and Taemin's solo work that he has only gotten more magnificent over the years. Taemin truly is art when it comes to his performances. SHINee are one of the top groups that are known for the fact that they all can do it all. They are a group of 5 amazing vocalists, 5 impressive dancers, 5 visuals, 5 rappers, 5 top actors, and 5 of the most talented and unique voices in all of Kpop. Once you get to know them better you will wonder how it was even possible that you couldn't tell them apart. As a Shawol (a SHINee fan) I tell people that once you get to know their voices you will always be able to pick them out of a crowd just by the sound of their voice. I can tell who is speaking or singing within 1 second even with my eyes closed with them standing in a crowd of people. Each of their voices are that unique -- there is no one with a voice like any of their's. That is why they are "The Princes of Kpop". SHINee are known for their live vocals and amazing dancing. They are known as CD-quality singers because they sound just as good live, if not better, than they do recorded. SHINee always sings live. The ONLY thing they are not good at is lip syncing so they avoid it at all costs, so when you hear SHINee singing 95% of the time it will be live. They have trained their entire career to be able to sing live and always sound flawless while performing extremely complex choreography. You really should check out some of their live performances because their stages are like none other. Their concerts last 3 to 4 hours straight and they perform nonstop and never sound out of tune or out of breath. They are also one of the best dancers in Kpop and they have some of the best harmonies you will ever hear. If you know EXO, then you know how good of vocalists they are, well, the members of SHINee actually were mentors to a lot of the EXO members and they helped coach them in their singing. The EXO members and SHINee members are all around the same age and they were in the same trainee classes together, and yet SHINee debuted 4 years before EXO. So, that just goes to show you a little bit of what makes SHINee so amazing and why they are considered legends.
SHINee's whole concept is that they are supposed to be SM's experimental group so absolutely every song you hear from them will be different, and yet somehow will always be very much SHINee. :D The Kpop industry looks to SHINee to show them what the next music style and dance will be. And SHINee are expected to always come up with something new and groundbreaking that has never been seen or heard before, not only for them, but for the industry as a whole. And after almost 12 years, Key has said on TV shows and in interviews that it has started to become kind of daunting for them every time they come out with a new album, because after so many years in the industry they have pretty much done it all and it's getting harder and harder to find something unique and fresh. However, they still have not let us down. They have 12 (6 Korean and 6 Japanese) full length albums, several mini albums, solo albums numerous singles, etc. and somehow they have managed to keep it fresh and new every time. It will be interesting to see what they come up with for their next comeback at the end of this year or early next year, when Onew, Key and Minho are released from the military, after being away for almost 2 years. SHINee debuted in 2008, so "Ring Ding Dong" came out in 2009, a year after debut. If you want to hear the song without the auto tune then you need to hear them perform it live in concert. Try their live MBC music festival performance of "Ring Ding Dong"in 2016, ruclips.net/video/_lYurocLpi8/видео.html. And this video even has English subs so you can see what the lyrics of the songs are about. :D However, this was the era when auto tune was brand new and it was the new cool thing that everyone was using in their new songs. If you listen to almost any song from that time period, even American music, you are going to hear them experimenting with auto tune. Actually, this song was ahead of its time when it came out and it blew people away for its sound and style, which they had never heard before. :D "Ring Ding Dong" is such an iconic song and it's so catchy that it has been said that in Korea this song is band from being played or listened too during college entrance exam time. When it first came out students complained that the song would get stuck in their heads and they couldn't concentrate on their studies or on the test. :D This song is one of SHINee's Iconic choreographies and it is one of the dances that every rookie group in the industry, both boy groups and girl groups, are pretty much required to learn and know, and most have covered the song and dance at least once in their career. If you are blown away now, just wait until you get into SHINee's live concert performances. Because that is where they truly shine. Live vocals and extremely complex choreography, and they will sound even better than their MVs and studio recordings. Just brace yourself, you will be rendered speechless. I can't wait for you to get into their SHINee World Concert III (SWC3) and SHINee World Concert IV (SWC4) performances from Seoul. You have never seen anything like what SHINee does live. :D You should consider pairing your reaction with a live concert performance of each of their songs you react to. Because SHINee has pretty much performed all of their songs in concert at one point. Songs like "Replay" and "Ring Ding Dong" are performed at almost every concert and each time it's a little different. That's what makes SHINee such legends.
"Hello" was also released in 2010 -- 2 years after debut. SHINee's look in their "Hello" MV is totally the boyfriend look. In this MV they are supposed to be dressed like boyfriends, which I think is exactly what their look is. The story is how they are trying to work up the courage to say hello to the girl they like and to ask her to be their girlfriend. :D If you notice Jonghyun is sitting on the step waiting for the girl to come home and he has a gift in a box, Key has a ring, Onew has flowers, Taemin -- because he is only 16 in this MV -- has that plushy that he is decorating for the girl he likes and Minho has a giant teddy bear in the passenger seat of the car. LOL
Dylan: I've always enjoyed your reviews! You are hilarious! Thank you very much. Finally subscribed now that you've gotten too SHINee. Fellow Shawols will provide many recommendations. I'd just suggest watching some live performances and their debut song, Replay. Edit 1: I just checked your videos and I cannot believe you are still sleeping on SHINee member Lee Taemin (he's the one with long hair in Lucifer and has red/pink hair in Hello). I think that you will love Lee Taemin. 'Danger" was his solo debut in 2014.
1:05 if that ain't all of us all the time. Although you know it already but let me say it again coz I want to shout it at the top of my lungs SHINee = GODS. PERIOD. You have to react to View, Married to the Music, (it's so damn good one of my fav), Sherlock, Replay and the list goes on. P.s. don't even get me started on the solos of Jonghyun and Taemin like those songs are pure art. And then there's is Key's "face", onew's "voice" and Minho's "I'm home". There's so much to catch up to.
Honestly what made me stan SHINee more than any other group is their flawless discography and their excellent performances, i mean these guys are as good in studio as live
SHINee usually starts the trend in what music genre hits kpop. Since their early days, they start by releasing a song in a specific genre/style.. and other groups follow. Up till no, they’re still that group
I've never seen anyone vibe as fast to Ring Ding Dong as you have, and, honestly, you have my respect for that. I would definitely suggest watching any of their live performances! I think you'd enjoy Jonghyun's 17 second long-note in a live version of Lucifer! :D
SHINee's "Lucifer" came out in 2010, almost 10 years ago, so this was just kind of the look that a lot of MVs had back then. Take a look at a TVXQ, Super Junior, Infinite or 2PM MV, etc. from around that time and you will see a similar look and style. SHINee was setting trends in the industry with 'Lucifer." Why is everyone so thrown by their hairstyles and outfits in this MV? I think they are actually all pretty cool for doing something different that sets them apart from everyone else in the industry. And that is what makes SHINee legends and why "Lucifer" is such an iconic song and dance. You're not going to remember a group or a song if they look and sound the same as everyone else, you remember them for standing out and not being afraid to be unique. In the MV the boys don't have superpowers, but the "smoke" or "light trail" you see is supposed to represent the aura of a girl who has devilish powers like Lucifer, who is trying to possess them and take over their lives. As the English lyrics say "Loveaholic, robotronic ... her whisper is the Lucifer." (They are using auto tune because they are supposed to be "robotronic"-ly controlled by the girl who is "The Lucifer." So the auto tune is meant to make them sound robotic.) So, in other words, the women or girl they are talking about is so desirable that she is like Lucifer and you have to use all your willpower just to resist her wiles. In the MV you see them trying to fight against her powers and resist her attempts to try to make them bend to her will, etc. That's why in the choreography you see all the robotic moves because they are showing how "Lucifer" is trying to control them like a robot -- for example, they put their wrists together like they are being handcuffed to show how she is trapping them. And they vibrate to show how they are being manipulated by "Lucifer" and they are trying to resist her powers, etc. (FYI: That vibration you saw them do is 100% them actually shaking like that, there aren't any camera tricks. If you pay attention when they perform Lucifer live, you will see them do that exact same thing. :D) LOL we have no idea why they had to be dancing in front of a sports car, but that was kind of an iconic thing that Kpop companies did back then in a lot of their MVs, The group would dance around a fancy car to showoff their coolness and to give the video a more futuristic, expensive looking aesthetic. Key is our diva and fashionista of the group who is SHINee's stylist for a lot of their MVs and stage outfits. SHINee are known for setting trends and never being afraid to experiment with their sound or look, so Key's head was 100% really shaved bald on the one side. What you see is his head has been shaved all the way down to his scalp. He is known for always being unique and wanting to standout. That's why Key's style is often just straddling the edge of outrageous, but somehow always manages to look cool. This was the era where Taemin had long hair and it made him one of the most popular of the members at the time, especially with their Japanese fans. The Japanese culture rally embraces men with long hair and the members said that he was one of the most popular at the time because of his style. Taemin with long hair is so iconic and many in the fandom were really sad when he eventually cut his hair. When Taemin debuted as a member of SHINee in 2008 he was only 14 years old, so in "Lucifer" he is only about 16. SHINee are one of the most iconic and influential groups as trendsetters. Like I often remind people who are new to Kpop, when watching these older MVs you have to put everything into context of when it was released. Like most of SHINee's songs, "Lucifer" was actually ahead of its time in 2010 when it first came out. SHINee are known for never being afraid to experiment with their style and sound in a song and for the fact that no two songs of their's will ever be the same even on the same album. SHINee are always setting trends never following them Therefore, nothing you hear from SHINee will ever sound the same and yet somehow it will always sound like SHINee.:D If you want to see where SHINee truly shines you have to watch some of their live concert footage and you should check out their iconic performance of "Lucifer" Live in concert. Check out their performance at their SHINee World Concert III (SWC3) in Seoul, ruclips.net/video/Fm5n8Q2XO34/видео.html instead. Or their performance of "Ring Ding Dong" and "Lucifer" at their SHINee World Concert V (SWC5), ruclips.net/video/WlnfJbEwsyw/видео.html. This is a perfect example of how you can tell they are singing live and killing it every time. You are right, SHINee doesn't need auto tune, and if you here them perform the song live, they often don't use it. "Lucifer" is actually know as one of the most difficult songs and dances to cover because of its tutting and popping and for the fact that it has a very fast paced beat with dance moves that are very sharp and precise which are designed to hit every beat of the song. And the song itself is very complicated with the songs wide range of notes and flow. Many amateurs have thought "Lucifer" looks like one of SHINee's more simple songs and dances. But the minute they try to sing the song and/or dance the choreography, they soon discover that it is way more complicated then they thought. It only looks and sounds simple, because SHINee makes it look that way. ruclips.net/video/0V02cQwYLMQ/видео.html. Check out this clip of SHINee teaching a group of actors and comedians "Lucifer" as part of a challenge on the variety show "Invincible Baseball Team." Its funny because when they came to meet SHINee to start the practice, Jonghyun asked them why they chose this song of all songs, and they said because it looks manly and they thought it was fairly easy to cover. But the first thing Jonghyun said to them, while laughing, was "oh no, actually its one of our more difficult choreography and it took us extra time to really perfect it." :D
You should also check out SHINee's dance practice for "Lucifer." SHINee's "Lucifer" dance practice was the very first dance practice video ever released specifically for fans. SHINee is the group that started the trend and they are why dance practice videos are even a thing today. :D It was the very first dance practice video to go viral, even before viral was a thing. Back then dance practice videos were filmed for the group and artists to watch to help them remember the moves and to fix mistakes, etc. They weren't intended for a mass audience. But SM realized that fans were starting to try and copy SHINee's choreography and they decided to film a dance practice and release it to the public. SHINee's dance practice videos became so popular that other companies and groups started to follow suite and showoff their choreography by releasing dance practices too.
Lmao. "Hello, Hello" -- CHAO. You had me laughing at this bit so much haha. More SHINee!!! Everything that was sad by others and also "I want you" because I love this song and nobody seems to react to it lmao.
Also, you asked what they’re best known for (non verbatim), they’re bedt known for their LIVE PERFORMANCES - LIVE VOCALS & HARMONIES AND DANCE. They also suck at Lipsyncing.
Pls do more reactions to Shinee🙏💖 And Taemin's solo songs too! You'll love his vibe. He's one of the top dancers in korea. I would recommend "Move" and "Want". Fun fact: Jimin and Taemin are besties and they did a stage together.
Shinee ring ding dong was the first kpop song I have ever heard and that's where my down hill started :DD Lucifer has been on my jogging playlist since it came and Still is :D
@@DylanAlvarez honestly i don't know much because I myself became a fan in 2016 but songs like view,1of1 , good evening, i want you , everybody, countless, who waits for love and beautiful are my recommendations
There is one more thing that i believe u should know is that SHINee lost on of there members Called Jonghyun in 2017. He passed away on 18 October 2017. So in songs which are of 2018 like i want you or good evening and who waits for love he won't be there . There will only be 4 members out of 5
Actually after 2018 the 3 elder members of SHINee enlists in the military and will be discharged in the later year but there youngest is still there performing as a solo artist and is also the member and the center of Superm. He is one of most greatest dancers in the kpop industry and is known as the Michael Jackson of Korea
I highly recommend that you react to VIXX: Voodoo Doll, Error, and Shangri La. I personally like Voodoo Doll, but it is because I kinda of enjoy a dark concept.
SHINee are what got me into kpop back when Ring Ding Dong came out, and it's also been my ringtone for years. Lucifer is still one of the best kpop songs in the history of kpop, PERIOD!
lmao ring ding dong has kinda always been commercialized. lucifer was the real experimental super weird one, but those two both blew shinee up. lucifer was pretty revolutionary and was the start of difficult idol choreo, with the tutting at the beginning. they're not my favorite shinee songs whatsoever but they're pretty iconic.
Hello was my first ever Kpop song. SHINee will always have a special spot in my heart. R.I.P Jonghyun I hope you’re resting well angel. We all miss you 💕
"Replay" is a good one, considering it was their debut song. "Sherlock" is also good, along with "View" and "Married To The Music". You should also check out the members' solo careers! All of them have at least one solo single, and they are all amazing songs!
thank youuuuuu yes SHINee!!!!!! they are trendsetter (fashion) ,the princes of kpop .... live vocals are praised by senior n junior idols and they always sing live coz the only thing they suck at while performing is lipsyncing so they sing live .... each member has his own solo career as well... it means they all good at singing to carry with solos ..... Oh beloved SHINee, they are so talented, you should continue to know their music chronologically, so next you should watch the mv s as follow: Replay (their debut sing), Love like Oxigen, Juliet, Sherlock, DreamGirl, Why so Serious, Married to the Music, Everybody, View, 1 of 1, Tell Me What to do, Good evening, Countless and of course their live performances are something else like; Excuse me miss, Evil, Stranger, Everybody ... there is really to much to see, enjoy getting to know them ;)
Yes.. Shinee is indeed the group you'll never hear bad about... No competition or fanwars whatever... Cz as Taemin said he doesn't want Shinee to be best anymore, he just wants all to be together and healthy for lifelong.... ❤
SHINee is a Kpop Legend. A lot of group look up to them. They are in hiatus right due of serving the army. But you can check maknae Taemin. He is also a soloist. Thank you for reacting to them. Shawol here.
This combo probably for you next reaction.. SHERLOCK (2012), EVERYBODY (2013), MARRIED TO THE MUSIC (2015). SHINee Always come up w/ a new sound, with that “SHINee Sound”.
shinee does actually have a song by big time rush lol really liked the video, i'm glad you liked them ! hope you'll react to more shinee in the future o// (also one of the members dressed up as naruto for halloween one year)
Trendsetter for skinny colour jeans, dance practice video, Halloween cosplay, fashion icon, n experiment music. N they never fail. They can pull off everything
The fashion can be seen in the KPOP to this day. Timeless. Kings of fashion, singing and dancing since 2008. Everything's timeless. Okey, the hair RING DING DONG 2009. I would laugh if they celebrate their comeback soon. In memory of Jonghyun. 🌹
Because of lucifer dance. People start to respect boy groups choreography in Kpop. And start evolving at that time. Dance practice lucifer and Replay (from SHINee). Is the start for dance practice video trend in Kpop and worldwide. They're trendsetter in everything
Hint for acne is tea tree oil but alot goes a long way. Also it can be drying so just apply the pure oil once every day and you will see it start to clear up.
Actually i was hesitant before suggesting this song but I'm sure you'd like to listen to it : "Good evening" I think you'll get it why when you watch it And there is "Everybody" that I just love 💕
Best vocals in kpop. You may not affirm it but you can’t deny it. But in all seriousness, the best vocal line in kpop is debatable but if these boys aren’t the best they sure are pretty darn close.
You should watch their live performances. Recommendations are: 'Stranger' live performance 'Excuse me Miss' live performance 'Lucifer' Live performance
OKAY YES! SHINEE! OKAY! SO Gotta watch Replay, sherlock, married to the music, 1 of 1, I want you, tell me what to do, good evening, our page (THIS SONG IS EFFING BEAUTIFUL AND JUST UGH SO MANY FEELS), countless, everybody, view, etc. And you have GOT to check out their solo stuff too. I'll say especially Taemin (they're all amazing but I am horribly biased towards Taemin, he is my ultimate). Taemin's solo stuff is *chef's kiss*. SOOOO watch press your number, danger, drip drop (funnily enough this MV was filmed about 15 minutes away from my house WHILE I WAS IN SEOUL), under my skin, flame of love, want, famous, MOVE, thirsty...i'm a tad obsessed.
You should just learn about the members of SHINee. I knew them since I was 5. Here I am 17 years old and still miss Jonghyun... R.I.P Jonghyun... I still miss you...
They're the trendsetter they try so many different music all members have their own colour that's what make them shining SHINEE plz react to their ballad u will love their harmonization miss you jonghyun
lol ring ding dong was said to be banned to be played during college exam period because the chorus rings in your head and wouldn’t be able to concentrate.. lol
You have a new SHINee follower. Keep up the great work we will be lessening. Check out the king of kpop taemins solo stuff. He is called the Michael Jackson of kpop. Just Google Michael Jackson of kpop and you will find a picture of taemin. Try his mv for move, want, famous, danger ECT. You will be blown away I promise you. All of shinees solos are great but taemin stands alone.
Omg SHINee is amazing their song are the best, please react to View and Sherlock they are my fav i think if you like theses three songs you like theses two aswell. Dylan you're the best person to watch reactions to kpop with, you're channel is amazing too
SHINee are some of the biggest kings of kpop period.

Periodt
They're the Princes of kpop. Bigbang is the Kings of Kpop, in my opinion.

Sherlock good evening
ALSO SHERLOCK
If someone says SHINee is mediocre, I will wonder if we are listening to the same thing.
More SHINee: React to View and Sherlock
PERIODT! 🔥
React to
SHINee Married to the Music, Everybody, Sherlock, Tell Me What To Do and View.
No more reaction. Only this one😅😢 lol
Be careful of Ring Ding Dong. It’s so addictive it’s literally BANNED DURING EXAM SEASON IN KOREA.. up till now 10 Years later.
u here😁
Wtf! For real?
Daughter of Namjin For real. And even till now it’s still played in variety shows when cast are “to be distracted with music” in a game or challenge. There’s also a time it’s used by brides (in Korea) so they don’t cry during their weddings.. Like how can you cry if you have it playing in your head.. lol.
@Coded_PearlAqua omg! How I didn’t know this!! Haha... I knew this song was an iconic one, but didn’t know the story related to it.
Started listening to SHINee in 2008! 😭😭😭 they're the first k-pop band that introduced me to k-pop in general omg!!! Thank you so much for doing this!♡♡♡♡
Me too! They’re my first KPop forever group!
me too, but i started listening in 2010 :c
same
You should watch "Married To The Music", "Sherlock", "Replay" and some of Taemin and Jonghyun's solo music. For Taemin I recommend, "Danger", "Love", "Want", "Press Your Number" and "Drip Drop". For Jonghyun I recommend, "Shinin" and "Lonely".
dont forget key, onew, and minho's solo stuff

Omg yes I’m so excited that you decided to react to Shinee
Yass shinee are that group
Every comment about Minho is just so on point. Flaming charisma!
Finally Dylan, reacting to Kings
SHINee - “1 of 1, “view” , “sherlock”
and their live performance, “ excuse me miss”, “like a fire”, “evil”!!
In case you don't know, Taemin the solo artist and member of SuperM is the lead dancer of Shinee. If you don't know Taemin you're really missing out.
He's the main dancer
Lead dancer is key
solos too,, jonghyun-“crazy”,”she is”, “shinin”
taemin-“want”,”move”,”danger”
Same. Through him I discovered Shinee again. I have forgotten about them, but then I saw MinHo and I remembered shinee. Now I love them.
Well don't hesitate checking out his work he's so talented, as much as the other members of SHINee
@@aquablue355 I'm going to listen to Shinee's music. I know that I will love it.
@@Liz-rf4qu great ! Honestly the best is to watch live performances because they are amazing performers, like their live vocals are out of the world
@@aquablue355 thank you for the recommendations. I'll watch it
Thanks some much for reacting to Shinee most reactors who are new to kpop forget to check out older songs. They were the first 2nd gen kpop group I checked out in 2018 and i regret not knowing them sooner.
Shinee songs to react to
- Replay (Best Kpop Debut)
- View
- Everybody
Taemin Solo Work
- Move
- Want
- Thirsty
- Press Your Number
OMG FINALLYYYY I have been waiting forever for him to react to shinee
However, this was the era when auto tune was brand new and it was the new cool thing that everyone was using in their new songs. If you listen to almost any song from that time period, even American music, you are going to hear them experimenting with auto tune. Actually, this song was ahead of its time when it came out and it blew people away for its sound and style, which they had never heard before. :D
"Ring Ding Dong" is such an iconic song and it's so catchy that it has been said that in Korea this song is band from being played or listened too during college entrance exam time. When it first came out students complained that the song would get stuck in their heads and they couldn't concentrate on their studies or on the test. :D
This song is one of SHINee's Iconic choreographies and it is one of the dances that every rookie group in the industry, both boy groups and girl groups, are pretty much required to learn and know, and most have covered the song and dance at least once in their career.
Finally!!! Thank you for reaction 🙏🙏🙏 I feel you'll be impressed by their live performances. They are literally shining on stage
If you notice Jonghyun is sitting on the step waiting for the girl to come home and he has a gift in a box, Key has a ring, Onew has flowers, Taemin -- because he is only 16 in this MV -- has that plushy that he is decorating for the girl he likes and Minho has a giant teddy bear in the passenger seat of the car.
Did you know that Bebe Rexha helped write Lucifer .
😳😳😳💖
SHE DID???
shinee were and still legends and they are every idol is role model in our time
Dude do shinee replay! the best kpop debut ever!
Or you can try this combo too..
LOVE LIKE OXYGEN (2008), DREAM GIRL (2013), VIEW (2015).
Also, their Debut Song REPLAY (2008)
LOL we have no idea why they had to be dancing in front of a sports car, but that was kind of an iconic thing that Kpop companies did back then in a lot of their MVs, The group would dance around a fancy car to showoff their coolness and to give the video a more futuristic, expensive looking aesthetic.
Remember TVXQ's lion hair? 😂
@@OT4inYourArea Yeah LOL that is exactly what i mean. :D
@@milindawilson9175 I actually love the excessive and wild look of second generation
It was fun
@@OT4inYourArea Me too makes me remember the good old days. Second Gen is my generation. :D
Lmao. "Hello, Hello" -- CHAO. You had me laughing at this bit so much haha. More SHINee!!! Everything that was sad by others and also "I want you" because I love this song and nobody seems to react to it lmao.
Yes dude yes SHINEEEEEE
Thank you so so so so much l love yr reaction plz mora shinee
Also, you asked what they’re best known for (non verbatim), they’re bedt known for their LIVE PERFORMANCES - LIVE VOCALS & HARMONIES AND DANCE.
They also suck at Lipsyncing.
loved your reaction!!! Glad Shinee found their way to you lol but you should so watch more of their stuff! Esp their debut!!!
Pls do more reactions to Shinee🙏💖
And Taemin's solo songs too! You'll love his vibe. He's one of the top dancers in korea. I would recommend "Move" and "Want".
Fun fact: Jimin and Taemin are besties and they did a stage together.
You were reacting so enthusiastically that you made my day! I was so happy watching you react to SHINee. Thank you so much!! Please react to more!
SHINee holds the grand slam for best debut in kpop! please react to replay back in 2008.
Shinee ring ding dong was the first kpop song I have ever heard and that's where my down hill started :DD Lucifer has been on my jogging playlist since it came and Still is :D
It would be lovely if you plz react to their latest songs of 2014,15,16, and 18
What do you recommend !!?
@@Xlnx_05 I don't want this to sound rude or mean, but it was December not October. Thank you for the informative comment though!
I highly recommend that you react to VIXX: Voodoo Doll, Error, and Shangri La. I personally like Voodoo Doll, but it is because I kinda of enjoy a dark concept.
Can you react to 2pm too they're khown as the beastly idols for their strong image
SHINee are what got me into kpop back when Ring Ding Dong came out, and it's also been my ringtone for years. Lucifer is still one of the best kpop songs in the history of kpop, PERIOD!
When SHINee released Ring Ding Dong, kpop groups were releasing bubblegum cute concepts. So they were like BOOM DARK!!
lmao ring ding dong has kinda always been commercialized. lucifer was the real experimental super weird one, but those two both blew shinee up. lucifer was pretty revolutionary and was the start of difficult idol choreo, with the tutting at the beginning. they're not my favorite shinee songs whatsoever but they're pretty iconic.
Hello was my first ever Kpop song. SHINee will always have a special spot in my heart. R.I.P Jonghyun I hope you’re resting well angel. We all miss you 💕
Yay, SHINee!!! Pls also react to TVXQ! They are friends with SHINee and pretty great as well. TVXQ! was how I got into kpop. :)
Dylan’s wholesome af. Radiating positive energy all the time 🤩🤩
"Replay" is a good one, considering it was their debut song. "Sherlock" is also good, along with "View" and "Married To The Music". You should also check out the members' solo careers! All of them have at least one solo single, and they are all amazing songs!
We need replay by Shinee please its the best debut song imo
At lucifer
' Sexy dance jutsu '
I laughed really hard at that
God I miss them. I can't wait til their service is done. :( 💕
all the members have solo projects too. the only one with out a solo album, so far, is minho.
i think all shawols just search for reaction videos hehe
thank youuuuuu
yes SHINee!!!!!! they are trendsetter (fashion) ,the princes of kpop .... live vocals are praised by senior n junior idols and they always sing live coz the only thing they suck at while performing is lipsyncing so they sing live .... each member has his own solo career as well... it means they all good at singing to carry with solos .....
Thank you for reacting to SHINee!
Plz react to the recent ones, too. I recommend View, Everybody, Good Evening.
omg pls react to replay by shinee, one of their best songs no cappp
SHINee is a Kpop Legend. A lot of group look up to them. They are in hiatus right due of serving the army. But you can check maknae Taemin. He is also a soloist.
Thank you for reacting to them. Shawol here.
you're so funny haha, but I enjoyed a lot watching your reaction! love SHINee so much!

This combo probably for you next reaction.. SHERLOCK (2012), EVERYBODY (2013), MARRIED TO THE MUSIC (2015). SHINee Always come up w/ a new sound, with that “SHINee Sound”.
Lucifer is my favorite song from them! Much love Dylan and yeah my insomnia is completely messed up! ❤

Fun Fact: Lucifer was written by Bebe Rexha when she was 17 yrs old.
I was crying in the whole video, still not over it, rest in peace Jong-hyun
shinee does actually have a song by big time rush lol really liked the video, i'm glad you liked them ! hope you'll react to more shinee in the future o// (also one of the members dressed up as naruto for halloween one year)
Haha 5HInee always slaps hard and you're right when you said expect the unexpected from 5HINee xD
Shinee is the reason now i am a k pop fan.😍my ABCDEFG.....in kpop
Trendsetter for skinny colour jeans, dance practice video, Halloween cosplay, fashion icon, n experiment music. N they never fail. They can pull off everything
His reaction to Hello was awesome 😭😂😂
The fashion can be seen in the KPOP to this day. Timeless. Kings of fashion, singing and dancing since 2008. Everything's timeless.
Okey, the hair RING DING DONG 2009. I would laugh if they celebrate their comeback soon.
In memory of Jonghyun. 🌹
kings of kpop
Because of lucifer dance. People start to respect boy groups choreography in Kpop. And start evolving at that time. Dance practice lucifer and Replay (from SHINee). Is the start for dance practice video trend in Kpop and worldwide. They're trendsetter in everything
Hint for acne is tea tree oil but alot goes a long way. Also it can be drying so just apply the pure oil once every day and you will see it start to clear up.
Actually i was hesitant before suggesting this song but I'm sure you'd like to listen to it : "Good evening"
I think you'll get it why when you watch it
And there is "Everybody" that I just love 💕
U are so cute~ thank u for reaction shinee^^
Best vocals in kpop. You may not affirm it but you can’t deny it.
But in all seriousness, the best vocal line in kpop is debatable but if these boys aren’t the best they sure are pretty darn close.
HAHAHHAHAH fricken hell I love your energy
you have to react to their live performances, they're amazing
"You can have my girl I'm not going to fight you " 😂😂😂 i died minho can have all the girls 👀
You should watch their live performances. Recommendations are:
'Stranger' live performance
'Excuse me Miss' live performance
'Lucifer' Live performance
You should see how they perform Lucifer live!
OKAY YES! SHINEE!
Same
I'm born 2007 found out bout them 2012
They're the trendsetter they try so many different music all members have their own colour that's what make them shining SHINEE plz react to their ballad u will love their harmonization miss you jonghyun
lol ring ding dong was said to be banned to be played during college exam period because the chorus rings in your head and wouldn’t be able to concentrate..
I miss jonghyun ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
Pls react to replay , view and everybody by shinee
Omg SHINee is amazing their song are the best, please react to View and Sherlock they are my fav i think if you like theses three songs you like theses two aswell. Dylan you're the best person to watch reactions to kpop with, you're channel is amazing too
