View, Married to the Music, Your Number, Juliette & Love Like Oxygen are some other favorites! They’re live stages can’t be topped… Excuse Me Miss, Sherlock, Like A Fire & Evil LIVE solidified their status as GOAT for me
If your looking for more Shinee I would recommend their debut song Replay, which is considered the best debut song ever. View, Tell Me What To Do, Sherlock, Dream Girl, Married to the Music, and Good Evening are a few more of my favorites.
SHINee is amazing and still is amazing -- they were innovators and rocked their songs. Love their solo works too. My favorite SHINee songs are Sherlock and Your Number (so smooth and they are so GQ in the mv) Thanks for the reference to Jonghyun shining down on SHINee -- Smooth feet is the incomparable Taemin (often referred to as the Michael Jackson of KPOP)
SHINee FIVE is chef's kiss! And as the members always say, they will ALWAYS BE FIVE, THEY WILL BE PERFORMING AS FIVE IN MIND AND HEART in the future too! 💖 Their bond is seriously something else .
True dat.... a brotherhood like no other. Came together for business (as Jjong once joked) - but eternally joined and toegther out of love, respect, brother and just pure joy for us the fans.
Their bond is still strong as 5 ....They always include jonghyun in their mv, concerts, b-side lyrics, choreos.....if you see some more their work....5HINEE is always 5💎💎💎💎💎.... And their FANDOM is "SHAWOL"( SHINEE WORLD)
Kim Jonghyun is the sustained note king in Lucifer. This man is who snatched my butt into the Kpop Nation about 15yrs ago & it took 0:24 secs into Replay for me to convert. Unfortunately, he's no longer with us. Depression is a bitch. I cried for 3 days at his passing & he can still bring me to tears, but he also makes me smile. The smooth one is Lee Taemin, he's also in SuperM & EXO Kai's best friend. Our fandom is called Shawol. You can thank SHINee for dance practice videos also. I recommend Odd Eye Inkigayo stage, Sherlock & Symptoms. Ateez also covered Sherlock, so you could do a double reaction, cause they did it justice. There's a reason we call 5HINee Kings! 💎 🤴🤴💎 🤴💎 🤴🤴💎
The "Princes of Kpop", the "Idols of Idols". The harmonies, like no other, the intricate, complex choreographies. You should react to "Shinee Setting the Bar So High".. The fans are called "Shawols", for Shinee World. The debut song "Replay" is considered the best debut song in Kpop. It's a pure retro 1980's vibe. Should not be missed. Yasss more Shinee💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
@Ofra Cohen dance practice ? Snsd the one who bring this sht in kpop ) not shinee ) ending fairy ? Wow such amazing trend it’s just sht no one care about it
You have only scratched the surface of Shinee. They are the most innovative, artistic, and talented group. They are always evolving their sound and pushing the limits. They never disappoint. I am forever a Shawol!!!!
Man. You made me smile, dancing along to Lucifer; you made me happy, appreciating all three of these very different songs; you brought tears to my eyes when you talked about the power of the bond between the five of them. (Good tears. But Shinee always seems to have a direct line to my emotions.) I'm a pretty new Shawol myself, having started exploring Shinee's music only after I discovered Jonghyun's solo stuff seven months ago and got absolutely blown away. They're all extraordinary talents, with incredible stage presence and live performance skills, and the love and respect they have for each other is palpable. Powerful, like you say; they are so powerful together. I hope you continue on a Shinee journey! They haven't let me down once in all the Shinee exploring I've done so far.
With "Don't Call Me," SHINee are just doing what we have all come to expect from them -- showing us something that has never been seen or heard before and starting a new trend. Nothing you hear from them will ever be like anything you have ever seen or heard before. They raise the bar even higher with every comeback. And that's what makes them SHINee. :D With every new song release, SHINee are expected to come out with a style and sound that is brand new, not only for them, but in the industry as a whole. And "Don't Call Me" is a perfect example of that. This comeback in 2021 was particularly epic because it was the first comeback after almost 3 years because Onew, Key and Minho were all serving in the military. Don't miss SHINee's next comeback in the first part of next year when Taemin is discharged from the military and they will officially be back together again. What you just experienced is exactly what makes SHINee legends. And this is the reason why they are so highly respected, and why almost everyone in the industry who came after them cites them as one of their biggest influences and one of the reasons why they wanted to become a singer and dancer, etc. SHINee are one of the most iconic and influential groups. They are always setting trends, never following them. SHINee where designed to be SM Entertainment's experimental boy group, so everything they do is meant to be the first and they are expected to set the trend. With every new song SHINee produces it's expected to be different than the last, so you will never hear the same style or sound from them in any of their songs, even on the same album, and yet, somehow it will always sound like SHINee. When SHINee does something the industry takes note and follows suit. SHINee has started the trend with almost everything -- with every one of their songs to their dances to clothing trends, to live performances, to the way Kpop is promoted -- there is almost nothing that can't be attributed to something SHINee has been involved in. You just discovered why SHINee still hold one of the top spots after almost 14 years in the industry. If you are impressed now, just wait until you go through their entire discography of songs and MVs. So far, they have 13 full-length albums (7 Korean albums and 6 Japanese albums), several repackaged albums, a multitude of mini albums, numerous OSTS, they each have solo songs and albums and there are hundreds of live performances that will absolutely leave you speechless with their talent. And it only gets more and more impressive as you follow them through their career. They have accomplished a lot in the past 14+ years and they are one of the groups that made Kpop what it is today. However, if you want to see where SHINee truly shines, you have to see their live performances. SHINee are part of the second generation of Kpop and, yet, they are younger than most everyone in their generation and are the same age or even younger than many members of groups who came after them, such as EXO and BTS, etc. which are part of Kpop's third generation. SHINee debuted young and have the experience of seasoned veterans. When SHINee debuted in 2008, Onew (the leader and lead vocalist) was 18, Jonghyun (the main vocalist and songwriter) had just turned 18, Minho (the main rapper and sub-vocalist) and Key (lead vocalist and sub-rapper) were 16 and Taemin (Main dancer and lead vocalist) was 14, so now they are all in their late 20s and early 30s. (Onew turned 32 in December.) SHINee are some of the most well respected artists in the industry. Onew (Pronounced Oh-New in English or On-New with Korean accent, real name Lee JinKi) -- the one with the hoodie -- is the leader of the group and he has one of the most unique and best voices in the industry. (Onew means, or sounds like, the Korean words for soft or gentle, so he was given his stage name because he has a very calm and gentle personality.) His vocals are unmatched. He even holds the record (40+ seconds) for the longest continuous note without changing tone or pitch, etc. Key -- the one with the feather headpiece -- is our fashionista of the group who is SHINee's stylist for a lot of their MVs and stage outfits. SHINee are known for setting trends and never being afraid to experiment, so Key is recognized for really paying attention to detail when it comes to fashion. He has a reputation for always being unique and wanting to stand out. He is an amazing singer and is a sub-rapper in the group. He is also SHINee's dance copy machine. Key has the ability to see and remember choreography the fastest in the group. He only needs to watch the dance once and he has it memorized. He is also fluent in English -- almost as good as a native speaker -- one of the best non-native English speakers in the industry. Minho -- the one with the red hair -- is the main rapper and visual of the group, but his vocals are also some of the best in the industry. Minho sings just as much as he raps. He also writes most of his own raps in SHINee's songs. Minho is a top actor and he has starred in numerous dramas and movies. He is also known as a top athlete. He says these days he goes to the gym a couple of times a day to work out just because he likes to work out, but he is also crazy about soccer, and he plays basketball, baseball and golf, and he is good at track and field events, etc., as well. And not only does he enjoy playing all those sports, but he is usually the best athlete on the field and he pretty much wins every time. Minho's nickname is "Flaming Charisma," and one reason is for his intense passion for sports and his need to always win. Taemin -- the one with the blond highlights -- is considered one of THE BEST dancers in the industry (one of the top 2 best dancers of all dancers in Kpop), and that's not just by fans but by everyone in the industry, including his peers. Taemin's nickname is the Korean Michael Jackson. He is also one of the most popular solo artists and he is a member of the Kpop supergroup SuperM. Taemin truly is art when it comes to his performances. Although Jonghyun wasn't in the MV -- because he passed away 3 years ago (4 years now) -- in order to get to know SHINee, you have to get to know him as well. He is known as one of the best vocalist in Kpop who was one of the most prolific songwriters and composers of his generation. Jonghyun wrote and composed almost 40% of SHINee's songs, plus he wrote all of his own solo songs and numerous songs for other artists, such as EXO's "Playboy" and songs for Taemin, IU and Lee HI, etc. He was one of the only SM artists to be given complete artistic control over his work, including several of SHINee's song selections. SM knew that if Jonghyun was involved in any way that the song would be a hit. He was extremely respected within the industry as a songwriter, composer and singer. He was one of the very first Idols to be known for this songwriting and composing skills. SHINee are one of the top groups that are known for the fact that they all can do it all. They are a group of 5 amazing vocalists, 5 impressive dancers, 5 visuals, 5 rappers, 5 top actors, and 5 of the most talented and unique voices in all of Kpop. Once you get to know their voices you will always be able to pick them out of a crowd just by the sound of their voice. Most fans (SHINee World or Shawol for short) will tell you we know who is speaking or singing within 1 second even with our eyes closed, with them standing in a crowd of screaming fans. Each of their voices are that unique -- there is no one with a voice like any of theirs. That is why they are "The Princes of Kpop". SHINee are known for their live vocals and amazing dancing. They are known as CD-quality singers because they sound just as good live, if not better, than they do recorded. SHINee always sings live. The ONLY thing they are not good at is lip syncing so they avoid it at all costs, so when you hear SHINee singing 95% of the time it will be live. It's a running joke between the fans and the members that when SHINee lip syncs you can tell because it's very obvious. So unless they are required to lip sync for a specific reason, SHINee will always sing live. They have trained their entire career to be able to sing live and continue to sound flawless while performing extremely complex choreography for more than 3 hours straight in concert. SHINee set the standard. That is why they are so highly respected among their peers. It is literally referred to as the SHINee standard. It's the standard all other groups strive to reach. You should also check out SHINee's live performance stage for "Don't Call Me," ruclips.net/video/N3103Su_-cM/видео.html. (If you like the piano in this song, just wait until you see their live performance. The piano becomes even more noteworthy in the live. I won't spoil it, you will just have to watch it to see what I mean. :D)
Glad you are enjoying your Shinee journey. They debuted in 2008 youngest was 14 years old & oldest was 18 years old at the time. They are even better live. They are called the K-pop princes in S. Korea for a reason. Hope to see more Shinee content. 👍❤️
So excited to see you react to Shinee! Replay, Atlantis, Dream Girl, Love Like Oxygen, Juliette! Taemin the youngest, is part of SuperM - Even though he is called the Micheal Jackson of Korea, he is truly a unique master of his craft! Insane dancer, no one moves like Taemin! They are all amazing solo artists too. 🔥Taemin - Move, Advice, Want, Thirsty, Danger, Goodbye 🔥Onew - Blue, Dice 🔥Key - Bad Love 🔥Minho - Heartbreak 🔥Jonghyun - Crazy, Deja-Boo
If you want to see more of Jonghyun’s (high note goku hair) vocal range, he did a song with multiple vocalists from SM called Hot Times. His solo work was also perfection. I recommend Deja Boo (ft Zion T) and Crazy (Guilty Pleasure) especially.
I had the chance to see Shinee in Dallas with all 5 members. It was my first Kpop concert, and it was a night I will never forget. You have never felt emotion at a concert like you will at a Kpop concert. The sea of aqua light sticks and ear shattering screams from the girls in attendance was amazing. When the lights came on after the show, I saw lots of girls just sitting in their seats crying. Girls are emotional creatures, and the emotion during the concert was just too much for some of them. Mind you, I'm an older guy who has been attending concerts since 1980, and I have never seen or experienced anything like it. For future Shinee material, I would suggest Sherlock. The song has a really big Michal Jackson feel and was choreographed by the guy who did MJs last tour. It is nice to see figured out Shinee quickly. They are the gold standard in Kpop vocals, and there was no group during their time that could outwork them.
So excited for your Shinee journey! Definitely subscribed for more! They are such a fantastic group, the princes of kpop, the idols of idols like seriously the amount of idols who named Shinee or a member of the group as the reason why they became artists is insane! Already 14 years in the industry despite still being very young because they were only 14 - 18 when they debuted in 2008! The high note guy is Jonghyun, best vocalist in kpop and an amazing soloist! The guy with the smooth feet is Taemin, best dancer in kpop with an immaculate discography. I hope you check both of them as well as the other members solos out at some point. When it comes to Shinee I would highly recommend their debut song 'Replay (best debut ever), their song '1 of 1' and 'Married to the Music' for your next reaction 🙏
SHINee will always have 5 members. Pls react to more of their songs, they have a wide repertoire. JONGHYUN, especially as a solo artist, will leave you speechless. 👑💙
SHINee fans are called SHINee World, or "Shawols" for short (pronounced kind of like "shah" and "wall"), so... welcome to SHINee World! SHINee (pronounced "shiny") are legends in Kpop. The group is currently on hiatus right now, waiting for youngest member Taemin to return from his mandatory military service. But they have a huge discography to check out, and they experiment with many many different genres. I recommend the live version of Excuse Me Miss for your next reaction, not only because it is a smooooooth R&B song but also because they do a handy roll call at the end of the video which will introduce each member to you and let you know how the names are pronounced! But quickly: Onew - oldest, leader, unmatched vocals (I would say the best in Kpop now, he is so expressive and stable and his vocal tone is outstanding), a truly gentle and sweet personality, the best and most humble leader, dad joke powerhouse, the biggest and warmest smile ever Jonghyun - vocal god (the best in Kpop ever... the emotion he could put into his voice was unbelievable), the most compassionate soul ever, an extremely talented songwriter and producer who was so trusted by SM he could release his own self-composed and self-written albums in a time when SM rarely allowed that Key - he can do it all perfectly: stellar vocals, sharp dance moves, rapid fire rap, variety show king, actor, fashion designer, etc.; he is incredibly witty and can be sassy at times, so he is hilarious to watch on variety shows and in interviews Minho - incredible rapping, awesome vocals (he's in the lower range so sadly not featured as much, but always there rounding out the harmony), the biggest heart of anyone, an amazing actor who is very competitive and talented at pretty much all sports Taemin - youngest, dancing KING (best dancer in Kpop, period), softer and breathier vocal technique that explodes with power when needed, mischievous and adorable off-stage but a mesmerizing performer on-stage And yes, I've thrown out a whole bunch of "incredibles" and "awesomes" and "bests" but SHINee truly is that group. They're called CDNee because not only can they sing like crazy, but they are even better live and while dancing than on their album recordings. They always set the standard in trends, and it'd be hard to find an idol group without at least one member who lists SHINee (or a member of SHINee) as an influence or inspiration. I hope you enjoy your SHINee journey!
Shinee is mind blowing. So impressive and you’re right the synergy as 5 is incomparable but it’s so sweet of you to say they’re holding it down for Jonghyun in DCM. He’s always with us.
The choreography of Everybody actually got me into SHINee. I was a fan of Taemin before for his dance. Once I started to learn about SHINee, Jonghyun became my ultimate bias. The company included his solo song in their group debut album. That’s super rare in K-pop, probably in other groups/bands too.
Checking out more SHINee? Then you shouldn't miss out on their live performances. Recommending live of Everybody from Tokyo Dome and Excuse Me Miss from SWC4.
I enjoyed this . And what a combo of MVs! Please do check YOUR NUMBER MV Black Version, GET THE TREASURE and DxDxD. Whatever you watch you'll never go wrong with SHINee.
SHINee def has an image of being fresh(?) and youthful even when they are veterans in the industry but music wise even just going by all their title tracks, they haven't actually repeated a genre at all, the only exception being maybe lucifer/ring ding dong that can sound "similar". Replay , AMIGO , Love Like Oxygen , Juliette , Everybody, Married to the Music, Sherlock, View, 1 of 1, Dream Girl, Tell me what to do, Good evening/I want you/Our page, Don't call me, Atlantis, literally no song sounds close to each other
God bless you so much sir for giving the fans of yours a special treat today. Please react to shinee excuse me miss live it is sooooo R&B and smooth as hell. Another groovy song is your number (black version). Don't miss out on replay omg you will really dig it. Best of all usher smooth feet taemin is the biggest must see out there. They say if Michael Jackson and Prince had a baby it would be taemin. I kid you not please react to taemin you WONT be disappointed I pinky promise you. Thank you again for making my day so much better. I hit your bell waiting for more shinee and taemin please.
I really like "Don't Call Me" song, and made me notice again about SHINee. I knew this group about 10 years ago...but I didn't really like kpop at that time. Thank you for reacting to SHINee from SM entertainment.
Please react to the amazing live performances of these songs - Everybody at Tokyo Dome and Ring Ding Dong + Lucifer remix from their SWC5 concert. Also the Studio Choom version of Don't Call Me.
Because Taemin is also a member of SuperM, I think SHINee's "Don't Call Me" MV and Fake Reality teaser is SM's way of drawing SHINee into the SM Universe and fully connecting SHINee to SuperM's/EXO's storyline. Hence, Minho's red hair and the red room with the chairs hanging from the ceiling. I think this might be connected in someway to the Red Force and EXO's/SuperM's storyline. As with everything that SM does, it's been designed to all connect. All of SM's groups' concepts and MV storylines connect together and it's all part of one giant Universe and story that started in 2012 with EXO's debut. To understand how all of SM's groups are connected, you first need to keep in mind that it all began with EXO's origin story. As you know, EXO's concept is that they are aliens from Planet Exo who have been sent to Earth on a mission to find and protect the Tree of Life from the Red Force, while also trying to fix all the things that are going wrong in the world, which are believed to be caused by the Red Force. The Red Force is thought to be here on Earth inflicting their evil agenda -- corrupting humanity and causing all the bad things that are happening in the world, such as war, hate and destruction of the environment, etc. And because EXO is trying to undo and prevent the Red Force from accomplishing their goals, the Red Force is also trying to take down EXO by capturing them, corrupting them and standing in their way, etc. And SuperM is the Kpop industry's very first supergroup which debuted in October 2019 and their concept and storyline is centered around the fact that they are Avengers-like superheros, so SuperM is the group that pretty much connects everything together. As part of EXO's story, Baekhyun and Kai -- who are members of EXO -- have recruited members from SM's other male Kpop groups -- Taemin from SHINee, Taeyong and Mark from NCT and Ten and Lucas from WayV -- and formed SuperM, to help them battle the Red Force. So, because of this, all of SM's groups have storylines that connect. I see connections between EXO, SuperM, aespa and SHINee with the fact that we see SuperM riding on a subway train in their "100" MV and we see aespa in the subway in their debut "Black Mamba" MV, and now we see SHINee also in a train station in "Don't Call Me." And most recently, we saw Baekhyun from EXO/SuperM on an old train in his most recent solo "Bambi" MV. We even see Kai from EXO/SuperM on train tracks and people on a subway train platform in his "Film: Kai" solo debut teaser video during his "Amnesia" section of the video and as it transitions to "Mmmh." We also see Key from SHINee in a subway train in his solo debut "One of Those Nights" MV in 2018. And if we go back even further, you see EXO on train tracks in their "Love Me Right" MV and EXO-CBX (which Baekhyun is also a member of) on train tracks in their "Horololo" MV, etc. Which I think is all connected in someway. The train station/subway platform in "Don't Call Me" also is given a very futuristic EXO-like feel with the view of space and the planets in the sky when you see SHINee dancing on the train platform. I also think that the scene with Key in the red outfit standing on the phone booth submerged in water has something to do with the Red Force as well. In that scene we also see Key dressed in his black outfit with the feather headpiece standing in front of the image of himself, which looks as though this could be showing Key in alternate realities -- or a "fake reality." (And now that Key has released his solo "Hate That ... " MV, I think that scene with Taeyeon from Girls' Generation, standing on the rock in the middle of the ocean in "Hate That ..." is connected to that scene in "Don't Call Me" as well.) Then it looks as though the SHINee members go through some sort of wormhole as they are teleported somewhere and we see them all posing in their black outfits. This looks very similar to the scene in SuperM's debut "Jopping" MV when the SuperM members are coming together at the beginning of "Jopping." The members of SuperM are supposed to be coming together to help EXO fight the Red Force and to prevent or stop them from taking over the world, etc. As "The Avengers," SuperM is taking members from each of SM's groups and joining forces to take down the Red Force. Therefore, just like how the movies "Avengers Identity War" and "Avengers Endgame" eventually had each of the Marvel Avengers members recruiting their whole crew to help in the fight, I think SM is setting it up so that all of its groups' members will eventually be brought into the fight. So, if you follow EXO's storyline, in EXO's "Obsession" MV we learn that the good guys are the members in the all black outfits, and in "Jopping" we see SuperM's "Avengers uniform" is similar all black outfits. So in the scene in "Don't Call Me," when we see SHINee all together in those black outfits, it looks as though they might be preparing to join in the fight. And because of this, I think people need to pay attention to all of the storylines with all of SM's groups, because I think at least all of SM's third generation groups' MVs and storylines -- and probably even now their 4th gen. groups with the introduction of aespa in 2020 -- are being designed to connect stories and plots. Each group has their own individual storyline and concept, but when you put them all together, there are threads of connections between the groups. And that includes SuperM, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT/WayV, aespa, and maybe even Taemin's solo work, and possibly even SHINee. Even though SHINee are second gen, they actually fit within the age group of third generation groups, so they sort of bridge that gap between 2nd and 3rd gen. That is why I think that even though SHINee are part of the second generation, that SM is now working on bringing them into the storyline. And although most of SM's older groups' concepts and MVs may have never been originally designed to have any type of connection to anything to do with anything, that doesn't necessarily mean that over the years as EXO's story has evolved or SM's Universe concept was being created, that SM didn't find "happy coincidences" within those MVs that allowed them to use them as a way to connect things together. For example, some have pointed to the fact that NingNing's butterfly in aespa's concept from 2020 could be connected to the butterfly in EXO's debut "Mama" MV from 2012, as well as the butterfly in NCT-127's "Favorite (Vampire)" MV from 2021, and some have made compelling arguments that it could even be connected to SHINee's butterfly in their "Ring Ding Dong" MV from 2009. Or the blue roses we see in Taemin's "Press Your Number" MV from 2016 may be connected to EXO's flower/blue rose concept, etc. Now I'm not completely convinced that SM would reach back that far, but it makes you question and consider things. :D I mean we see what looks like the pink planet from Super Junior's "House Party" MV from 2021 and a scene from Super Junior-K.R.Y.'s "When We Were Us" MV from 2020 in "aespa's ep.1 - SM Culture Universe" video. And SM has even brought Kangta, who is a member of the very first Kpop boy group H.O.T., which debuted in 1996, into the storyline with his solo MV remake of H.O.T's song "Free to Fly." And Max Changmin from TVXQ joins the world of Kwangya in his solo "Devil" MV when we see him on the pink planet, etc. So it's starting to look like SM may be hinting at bringing everyone into the storyline, including their older groups and artists.
Loved your reactions!! 😁 SHINee never disappoints!! 💎✨ I’m signing up to follow your SHINee journey 💖 My suggestions: Excuse Miss - SWC4 live Replay - MV and SWC4 live Ring Ding Dong + Lucifer remix Sherlock - MV and SWC4 Live View - MV Married to the Music - MV
I forgot to mention that it's a good idea to react to a guide to get to know the group better, the names, positions and faces 🙂 My favorite are: A Very SHINee Guide utu.be/ctIp6XGCK7E Who is SHINee? ruclips.net/video/4oOT-ht5tZY/видео.html Deep Dive into SHINee (1h+ guide) ruclips.net/video/LiYLVmCqazg/видео.html
The one who did the high note in Lucifer is called Jonghyun, he is now our member for eternity, that's why in Don't call me, you saw only 4 members instead of 5
In "Everybody" SHINee are supposed to be toy soldiers and they get their energy and power from the fans. So in the MV the "creepy" boy or robot, or whatever you want to call him is supposed to represent the fans who are using their energy to power the SHINee members up. The boy plugs in the power which sends the electricity to the grid on the floor where the members are laying and it activates Key, which then sets off a chain reaction that proceeds to activate the rest of the members. The fans power SHINee up with their energy and that's why in the beginning they wake up from the floor and in the end they run out of energy and they disengage and fall back down to the floor to wait for the fans to come and power them back up again. All the moves and everything you see, including the way they are dressed, is supposed to remind you of how a toy soldier would look and move. At one point you see Minho give the members an energy boost by pulling Key's pull string, winding Jonghyun's windup key, using a defibrillator to jumpstart Taemin and activating Onew by turning him on with a remote control. In the middle of the performance, where they come together and create that picture in their dance, they are supposed to look like an airplane, that's why Onew spins his arms round really fast like the propeller of a plane. The plane has to do with the fact that they are soldiers and they are depicting a scene from a battle during the Korean War. And the chess board is showing how they are soldiers engaged in battle as they advance across the chess board. It's a metaphor for how life is full of a series of moves and countermoves. Similar to the scene in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets where Harry, Ron and Hermione have to play the lifesize wizards chess game to get to the Chamber of Secrets. Yet again, SHINee are trendsetters, EDM Dubstep was a new style of music and sound when "Everybody" came out in 2013, and they introduced the genera to the Kpop industry. And combining that with popping, locking and robotics as part of the choreography was also new. And yes, 4 out of the 5 of them have major high notes in "Everybody." That is what makes SHINee so mind blowing. :D If you like this choreography, than you have to check out the dance practice for "Everybody," ruclips.net/video/GUf7hbpmFLg/видео.html. Make sure you click on the CC button so you can understand what they are saying at the beginning of the practice. This is one of SHINee's most iconic dance practices. And if you want to hear the Japanese version of "Everybody," check out their performance at their SHINee World Concert 2014 at the Tokyo Dome in Japan, ruclips.net/video/P_VJ_flgEVo/видео.html. This is considered one of their most intense and difficult dances and yet they are able to dance just as hard as this, all while singing live and killing it the whole time. Fun fact: Every time they performed this song as part of a comeback stage performance their military-style outfits were a different color. They even had an aqua blue version that was the same color as their fan color. SHINee's comeback stage outfits are some of my favorite of any Kpop group, and they are different every time they perform, but they always stick to the theme of the song or album so it's fun to see every one of their performances just to see what their outfits look like each time. In your free time look up some comeback stage performances and see what I mean. "Married to the Music", "Dream Girl" and "Everybody" were some of my favorite eras.
The high note Goku is Jonghyun. He is an amazing vocalist and entertainer. He passed in 2017 but you should still check him out. His covers are amazing. He has covered Maxwell, Sisqo and Justin Bieber to name a few. We SHINee fans are called Shawols. It a combination of SHINee and World.
Good Evening and View and from ny favorite album 1 of 1 the song Shift. I think you did the title track? You need to do their solo songs too. It’s a giant plethora of bangers!
In SHINee's "Lucifer" MV the "smoke" or "light trail" you see is supposed to represent the aura of a girl who has devilish powers like Lucifer, who is trying to possess them and take over their lives. As the English lines in the song say, "Loveaholic, robotronic ... her whisper is the Lucifer." (They are using auto tune because they are supposed to be "robotronic"-ly controlled by the girl who is "The Lucifer." So the auto tune is meant to make them sound robotic.) In other words, the woman or girl they are talking about is so desirable that she is like Lucifer and you have to use all your willpower just to resist her wiles. In the MV you see them trying to fight against Lucifer's powers and resist her attempts to try to make them bend to her will, etc. That's why in the choreography you see all the robotic moves because they are showing how "Lucifer" is trying to control them like a robot. For example, they put their wrists together like they are being handcuffed to show how she is trapping them, and they vibrate to show how they are being manipulated by "Lucifer" and they are trying to resist her powers, etc. (FYI: That vibration you saw them do is 100% them actually shaking like that, there aren't any camera tricks. If you pay attention when they perform Lucifer live, you will see them do that exact same thing. :D) LOL we have no idea why they had to be dancing in front of a sports car, but that was kind of an iconic thing that Kpop companies did back then in a lot of their MVs, The group would dance around a fancy car to show off their coolness and to give the video a more futuristic, expensive looking aesthetic. "Lucifer" was released in 2010, so this was just the look that a lot of MVs had back then, in part because everyone was following SHINee's lead. Just take a look at TVXQ's, Super Junior's, Infinite's or 2PM's MVs, etc. from around that time and you will see a similar look and style. SHINee was setting trends in the industry with 'Lucifer." As trendsetters it is SHINee's job to introduce the next song style and dance trend to the industry, and when SHINee has a comeback the industry takes note and follows suit. It is said that within 3 months of SHINee's comeback you will see that same sound, style and dance trend being duplicated across the industry for both boy groups and girl groups. That's how influential SHINee is. I'm not sure why people are often so thrown by their hairstyles and outfits in this MV. :D I think they are actually all pretty cool for doing something different that sets them apart from everyone else in the industry. That is what makes SHINee legends and why "Lucifer" is such an iconic song and dance. You're not going to remember a group or a song if they look and sound the same as everyone else, you remember them for standing out and not being afraid to be unique. SHINee are also known for never being afraid to experiment with everything they do, including their style, and as the fashionista and stylist of the group, Key is always looking for ways to be unique, so his head was really shaved on the one side. What you see is his hair was bleached blond on the side and then shaved down to his scalp. He is known for always being unique and wanting to stand out. That's why Key's style is often just straddling the edge of outrageous, but somehow always manages to look cool. Fun fact: I think one reason why Minho's hair is so short at this time is because their previous comeback was with their song "Ring Ding Dong," and all the members had pretty long, shaggy hairstyles. However, Minho has never liked having long hair. So, I think for "Lucifer" Minho decided to rebel and go really short. This was also the era where Taemin had long hair and it made him one of the most popular of the members at the time, especially with their Japanese fans. The Japanese culture really embraces men with long hair and the members said that he was one of the most popular at the time because of his style. Taemin with long hair is so iconic and many in the fandom were really sad when he eventually cut his hair. So, in this MV, Taemin had just turned 17. Onew and Jonghyun are 20 and Key and Minho are 18. With SHINee's experimental concept, nothing they do will ever be like anything they have ever done before and that includes all the songs on each album. Every song and MV will be completely different from each other with a whole different, look and style every time. Whenever SHINee releases something new, the only thing we expect is that it will be a brand new sound, look and dance style that we have never seen before. That's why their discography is so diverse and why they are able to continue to stay relevant even after more than 14 years. If you want to see where SHINee truly shines, if you haven't yet, you have to check out their iconic performance of "Lucifer" Live in concert. Check out their performance at their SHINee World Concert III (SWC3) in Seoul from 2014, ruclips.net/video/Fm5n8Q2XO34/видео.html. This is a perfect example of how you can tell they are singing live and killing it every time. SHINee doesn't need auto tune, and if you hear them perform the song live, they often don't use it. "Lucifer" is actually known as one of the most difficult songs and dances to cover because of its tutting and popping and for the fact that it has a very fast paced beat with dance moves that are very sharp and precise which are designed to hit every beat of the song. And the song itself is very complicated with the songs wide range of notes and flow. Many amateurs have thought "Lucifer" looks like one of SHINee's more simple songs and dances. But the minute they try to sing the song and/or dance the choreography, they soon discover that it is way more complicated than they thought. It only looks and sounds simple, because SHINee makes it look that way. Check out this clip of SHINee teaching a group of actors and comedians "Lucifer" as part of a challenge on the variety show "Invincible Baseball Team," ruclips.net/video/0V02cQwYLMQ/видео.html. It's funny because when they came to meet SHINee to start the practice, Jonghyun asked them why they chose this song of all songs, and they said because it looks manly and they thought it was fairly easy to cover. But the first thing Jonghyun said to them, while laughing, was "oh no, actually it's one of our more difficult choreography and it took us extra time to really perfect it." :D
You definitely should check out the dance practice. SHINee's "Lucifer" dance practice was the very first dance practice video ever released specifically for fans. SHINee is the group that started the trend and they are why dance practice videos are even a thing today. :D It was the very first dance practice video to go viral. Back then dance practice videos were filmed for the group and artists to watch to help them remember the moves and to fix mistakes, etc. They weren't intended for a mass audience. But SM realized that fans were starting to try and copy SHINee's choreography, so they decided to film a dance practice and release it to the public. SHINee's dance practice videos became so popular that other companies and groups started to do the same and show off their choreography by releasing dance practices too.
Yeah more SHINee pls! ❤️Pls react morel to their live performance❤️: 1. Ring Ding Dong & Lucifer remix from SWC5 concert 2. 8:04 and 9:34 Your Usher smooth feet is Taemin!! I told you he is one of the best dancers in kpop and started at the age of 14yr. I really hope you will check out his solo work. I believe there is a compelation video of some of his dance moves from his time with Shinee and his solo concerts/videos, etc. A video of Taemin's solo song "Want" It's crazy good and the dancing is A++ ruclips.net/video/-OfOkiVFmhM/видео.html
There are famous idols groups and then there are LEGENDS... and SHINee are both famous and legendary iconic... hailed by the Kpop industry as "Princes Of Kpop" , "Idols Idol" and "All Rounder Group" which means 5 vocals, 5 visuals, 5 dancers, 5 composer... they may be Princes in Kpop but they are Kings in Japan... SHINee hold the most expensive fanclub membership fee by foreign artist in Japan together with TVXQ, yes much expensive than EXO and BTS... Taemin their youngest is also hailed as "MJ of Kpop", if you wanna know why check him out especially his dance practice videos... hope to see more of SHINee and members reaction... and oh our fandom is called "Shawol" ... 😊💚
Glad to see Shinee on your channel! I am still hoping you will do a couple of reaction videos for Taemin. He is the youngest member of Shinee and the youngest kpop idol was Taemin at 14yrs of age. He's also considered one of the best dancers in kpop. I love his solo music and I hope you will give some of his music a try. BTW, Taemin is the one in the red pants in Lucifer and he was wearing the white head scarf and white jacket in Don't Call Me.
Shinee fans are called Showals...high note by Jonghun who unfortunately is no longer with us. Did you recognize Taemin?? Taemin Mr. cool feet! You need to watch taemins solo work..he did lots while the other 3 were in the military!
@@LiveANoursishedLife Taemin is mu Ult of all Ults..with Baekhyun from EXO close behind..then all of Monsta X! I cant wait till Taemin and Baekhyun are back from the military!
They’re amazing live from the videos I’ve seen. If you want to see Jonghyun do what he does best, watch this video of them doing “Stranger” live. ruclips.net/video/WXKRiAHzvi0/видео.html
EXO are the Kings, and SHINee are the Princes of Kpop 🥰🥰. Taemin, is one of the jewels. His solo work is simply espectacular. He and Kai are excepcional dancers.
View, Married to the Music, Your Number, Juliette & Love Like Oxygen are some other favorites! They’re live stages can’t be topped… Excuse Me Miss, Sherlock, Like A Fire & Evil LIVE solidified their status as GOAT for me
the shinee fandom is called Shawol! and the one who hit the note in Lucifer is called Jonghyun! he’s one of the best vocalists out there in kpop
If your looking for more Shinee I would recommend their debut song Replay, which is considered the best debut song ever. View, Tell Me What To Do, Sherlock, Dream Girl, Married to the Music, and Good Evening are a few more of my favorites.
Yup, good choices!
Up ⬆️ all day with these recommendations!

Shawols are the fans. The performances live will take you to another level. Thanks for checking them out.....Welcome...
But Shinee always seems to have a direct line to my emotions.)
I'm a pretty new Shawol myself, having started exploring Shinee's music only after I discovered Jonghyun's solo stuff seven months ago and got absolutely blown away.
I am SO FREAKING EXCITED FOR THIS!!!! Ahhhhhhhh!!!!! Woohooo!!!
🔥Taemin - Move, Advice, Want, Thirsty, Danger, Goodbye
🔥Onew - Blue, Dice
🔥Key - Bad Love
🔥Minho - Heartbreak
🔥Jonghyun - Crazy, Deja-Boo
Princess of Kpop . Please watch their debut song "Reply"💗
Thanks for intruducing me to Shinee. Wow, they are good
That is how it happened to me too...Welcome
Welcome to fantastic world of SHINee
But quickly:
Onew - oldest, leader, unmatched vocals (I would say the best in Kpop now, he is so expressive and stable and his vocal tone is outstanding), a truly gentle and sweet personality, the best and most humble leader, dad joke powerhouse, the biggest and warmest smile ever
Jonghyun - vocal god (the best in Kpop ever... the emotion he could put into his voice was unbelievable), the most compassionate soul ever, an extremely talented songwriter and producer who was so trusted by SM he could release his own self-composed and self-written albums in a time when SM rarely allowed that
Key - he can do it all perfectly: stellar vocals, sharp dance moves, rapid fire rap, variety show king, actor, fashion designer, etc.; he is incredibly witty and can be sassy at times, so he is hilarious to watch on variety shows and in interviews
Minho - incredible rapping, awesome vocals (he's in the lower range so sadly not featured as much, but always there rounding out the harmony), the biggest heart of anyone, an amazing actor who is very competitive and talented at pretty much all sports
Taemin - youngest, dancing KING (best dancer in Kpop, period), softer and breathier vocal technique that explodes with power when needed, mischievous and adorable off-stage but a mesmerizing performer on-stage
And yes, I've thrown out a whole bunch of "incredibles" and "awesomes" and "bests" but SHINee truly is that group.
SHINeeeeee 💎❤️
We are Shawols and love these men with all of our hearts and souls.
I believe you’ll enjoy Excuse Me Miss and Replay
The name of your Goku high note is Kim Jonghyun 💓🤗
Replay , AMIGO , Love Like Oxygen , Juliette , Everybody, Married to the Music, Sherlock, View, 1 of 1, Dream Girl, Tell me what to do, Good evening/I want you/Our page, Don't call me, Atlantis, literally no song sounds close to each other
You should react to their lives performances... They are the kings and their vocals are amazing
Love this k-pop- hiphop- at times middle eastern mix sound. Beautiful harmonics. So talented & cute too!
" MV, I think that scene with Taeyeon from Girls' Generation, standing on the rock in the middle of the ocean in "Hate That ..." is connected to that scene in "Don't Call Me" as well.)
Then it looks as though the SHINee members go through some sort of wormhole as they are teleported somewhere and we see them all posing in their black outfits. This looks very similar to the scene in SuperM's debut "Jopping" MV when the SuperM members are coming together at the beginning of "Jopping."
The members of SuperM are supposed to be coming together to help EXO fight the Red Force and to prevent or stop them from taking over the world, etc.

If you like this choreography, than you have to check out the dance practice for "Everybody," ruclips.net/video/GUf7hbpmFLg/видео.html.
Small correction - Jjong passed in Dec 2017 and eternally missed, loved and celebrated by the other members and fans equally if not more so.
@@Lintletse omg i put 2017. Then my phone did a auto-correct. Like i know what i wrote phone!
@@Lintletse thank u for point that out!! I wondered why i had 5 numbers in it
Princes of Kpop 👑 SHINee always sets the trends 😍 Taemin is their baby-only 14 when they debuted with Replay!
LOL we have no idea why they had to be dancing in front of a sports car, but that was kind of an iconic thing that Kpop companies did back then in a lot of their MVs, The group would dance around a fancy car to show off their coolness and to give the video a more futuristic, expensive looking aesthetic.
SHINee was setting trends in the industry with 'Lucifer."
As trendsetters it is SHINee's job to introduce the next song style and dance trend to the industry, and when SHINee has a comeback the industry takes note and follows suit.
❤️Pls react morel to their live performance❤️:

The goku high note guy is Jonghyun! he’s arguably one of the best, if not the best, kpop vocalists I can think of.
Smooth feet is Taemin!! He has great solo stuff! Advice, Danger, Goodbye, Criminal, Move
I was shocked when I first heard Low by Flo Rida and realized he sampled Lucifer.
Wait till you see them live
Lucifer is ICONIC. I’ve know the choreography to this song ever since it dropped 😭😭
Shinee 👑👑👑👑👑
Yes my second favorite Kpop group (after EXO)! They are real originals. Thanks for featuring them.
