I’m binge watching this series and I cannot believe how much more I understand now!! For the first time it is all clicking 😍😍. I hope in the future you will do some other quilt top series with us ♥️
You’re so sweet! I’m glad this is helpful! I will definitely be doing more quilting videos in the future!
Thanks again for the simple and clear demonstration! I haven't started an actual quilt yet, I'm working on a pieced casserole hot pad, but I'm using these steps to learn as I work my way up to the quilt! You're a great teacher, thank you :o)
How fun!! You definitely can handle a quilt. Thanks for following along with me!
Do you cut the binding off the 3 yards Before cutting the 3 yards for the backing or is it 3 yards total for the backing?
Hey! You do need 3 yards total for the backing and 1/2 yard for binding. If you purchased these together at the fabric store (3.5 yards) go ahead and cut (5) 2.25” strips, then the rest is used for backing! Sorry for the confusion here.
My painters tape doesn't want to stick to my fabric...???
Oh no!!!! I can see how that would be frustrating! I know duct tape works just as well but it may leave residue on your floor which I learned the hard way😂.
We can't hear properly. U need to talk a bit louder.
Sorry about that! I will definitely keep this in mind for the next video!
