Sounds good but they did have ten times the number of the Israelis army. That sounds like a fantastic effort by the Israel armed services to overcome a surprise attack like that with those odds and casts doubt on just how good the Egyptians and Syrian armed forces really were to me.

i am from israel and let me tell you, those egyptian soldiers were superb in every way, but israeli soldiers were still better. even so, we still took absolutely devastating casualties in every step of the egyptian campaign. the syrians, on the other hand, were contemptable in their lack of anything even close to skill, as the syrians were more of a presidential guard than army, with absolutely no chance of defeating israel. even so, the sheer weight of their numbers still nearly carried the day.
