Deejay Surge I'd say gkmc is better tbh, Illmatic is a 9.4 and GKMC is a 9.5. But TPAB is better than both for sure, easy 10/10

@@nunoportela8571 tbh illmatic isnt even top 5 for me, its close but like theres far better projects like tpab, madvilliany, mbdtf, the money store, atrocity exhibition, piñata (top 5 best produced and great in about everything else), liquid swords, hell id say that supreme clientele is better as well. illmatic would be better if it had more concept though, it excels in like everything and has a top 10 oat song with ny state of mind but i feel like theres better

It really is a cinematic odyssey for the streets. It feels like a movie from Kendrick's perspective. A duality to the playlike feel of To Pimp a Butterfly.

Ill always associate this incredible album to such a happy time in my life. 2nd yr at UNT uni. GKMC was everywhere. The bars played it. People vibed to it. Everyone was talking the album. It really changed the rap game. Incredible storytelling is possible with hip hop while also being mainstream and accessible to wide audiences. Awesome work! You brought out some good memories

Good Kid M.A.A.D City is quite possibly my favourite album of all time. It has inspired me to pursue hip hop and express myself.
My favorite Kendrick album, it’s my second favorite album this decade, I always listen to it at least once every two months. Great analysis, I truly appreciate the work and effort you put into this videos.
Good Kid M.A.A.D. City will always be my favorite hip-hop album, as well as one of my favorite albums overall. Be it the fact that I was a freshman in high school when the album dropped and the context of the music spoke to me on a deeply personal level, or the fact that the album is simply a special piece of work needn’t be spoken for. Regardless of the reason, Kendrick Lamar created a masterpiece that has forever defined an era. 💯✊🏽
