I heard that the royal icing made with aquafaba will not harden so much on the cookies like the one with egg whites, for ex. I hoped you will go on in your experiment with these three types and see how they behave when they dry on the cookie. Maybe the honey one will still be sticky, or the aquafaba one will be soft after a while because of the big amount of liquid in it comparing with the little liquid in the glucose one.
Hiii. Love your recipes! Just one question, a lot of people get confused between icing sugar and powdered sugar. You’ve stated icing sugar in your recipe, does it mean the one that already has corn starch in it or powdered sugar with no corn starch ? Please respond it would be a great help.
Yes icing sugar has cornstarch mixes into it and is also much finer than the sugar that you powder at home using granulated sugar. So use icing sugar only
Your recipes are awasome. Can you please share separate video for whipping cream. We are in Australia and I am difficulty in making whipped cream. Every time after few mins water is getting separated from whipped cream.
Warming up glucose syrup might alter its consistency.. but still there is no harm in trying.. :) Please do share your feedback with us if you happen to try that method :) yes you may but for baking always stick to gel food colours.
Thanx for d recipes. Just wondering what kind of freah cream do u use to frost the cake .I can't find any whipping cream at supermarket. I'm also from NZ. Thank u

Aquafaba is the juice from chickpeas. It will be the juice in a can of chickpeas. Don't worry! It doesn't taste like chickpeas! It's a great substitute! Hope this helps.
Omg new subscriber and I’ve been binge watching your series. One question, I want to make this icing recipe keto + egg free. Loads of keto royal icing have eggs in it. Will it be okay if I swap out the icing sugar with another sweetener? ( monk fruit sweetener ) and swap the honey with maple syrup? It would mean the world if I get a reply❤️
Hi.. maple syrup would definitely work as I have tried it.. but I have never tried the sweetner that you have mentioned so I have no idea about the same.. sorry
Aquafaba is basically the water that you get from boiling chickpeas.. You can buy tinned chickpeas from stores. Filter the water out. That water is aquafaba
