i mean, i think it's a bit disingenuous to imply that caste system doesn't affect people today. Less than 10 years ago I had a coworker who immigrated from India just a few years earlier, and he was telling my how he wasn't able to marry the girl he wanted to marry because his parents forbade it. The reason? She was from a slightly lower caste.

@@zxne-qxy090 British commissioner Herbert Risley was the first one to introduce caste system in India. Caste system was never a thing in India before britishers . The authenticity of the history of a country is measured on the basis of experiences and writings of the foreign Travellers. No foreign Travellers either Chinese, Greek, Roman or any other who visited India from time to time ever write about any kind of caste discrimination . The most authentic foreign Travellers who came to india is was Megasthenes , who came to india at the time of Mauryan empire wrote a book named "Indica" where he stated that india had no kind discrimination or women right issue in the country.

There is no caste system in Islam, but there is caste system in Hindus,, Muslim people worship Allah in different ways, we all Muslims are equal to eachother, unlike you if you don't have knowledge then don't say anything, we Muslims don't discriminate other people like Hindus do with Dalit community. Islam teaches us that all human are equal regardless of their race.color and nationality in the eyes of Allah Almighty, all people are equal, even though they are not all identical to one another.
If you don't know something don't say anything wrong keep your mouth shut
      Look here Hindu caste system
These four castes are the Brahmins (priests, teachers), Kshatriyas (rulers, warriors), Vaishyas (landowners, merchants) and Sudras (servants), and the 5th group is the group of the untouchables, called Dalits. One of the Hinduism's holy books, the Srimad Bhagavatam has a part (7.11.23
Hinduism. Most Dalits in India are Hindu. There have been incidents which showed that Dalits were restricted from entering temples by high-caste Hindus, and participation in religious processions. They are discriminated against not only because of their sex but also because of religious, social and cultural structures which have given them the lowest position in the social hierarchy. The stigma of 'untouchability' exposes them to an even higher risk of abuse and exploitation.
      🙄
And you talking about Shia and Sunni then hear this we just worship Allah in different ways Sunni say to Shia that you are wrong and Shia say you are wrong just that if you see muslims do discrimination then is because of culture remember muslims are not perfact Islam is And if any Muslim do discrimination Allah wil punish them

Class is not Caste. The class system exists worldwide, including in India, and it is flexible. People become part of an upper-class society after getting rich and powerful. But here in India, some corrupt priests introduced a hierarchy that eventually split Hindus into thousands of groups, or so-called castes, and all of them hate each other. Ironically, most of them are Austroloids and today all these groups follow all sorts of professions. So it is not like they are a race or even a professional group.

India is a wonderful country. In Korea, my family loves Indian curry, so we often go to Indian restaurants.
The Indians I met abroad were friendly. They looked happy compared to Koreans who were shy and blunt.
There are a lot of smart Indians who lead the world's big tech companies. But today, I'm going to talk about a realistic story.
Racism is a bad thing and should go away, but it is realistically present in every country. Korea is no exception.
Don't other countries, including India, have different races with different skin colors and often discriminate against each other?
There is racism in Korea, but I think it is weaker than other countries.
It's rare to suddenly swear, throw things, or use violence against people passing by like other countries.
Koreans' preference for white people has a historical aspect.
The U.S. saved South Korea when Japan occupied South Korea, and the U.S. saved South Korea when North Korea and China invaded.
At that time, most Americans in the eyes of Koreans were young white men.
We received a lot of support from our alliance with the United States. Since then, Hollywood movies have been very popular.
I can't help but feel good about the Americans (mainly white and some black) who helped us.
I think there are some things that have been influenced by the racist values inherent in Hollywood movies.
The good thing is that now Koreans have also begun to become aware of the problems of racism, so they will get better over time.
As a Korean, I hope to become a Korean society that embraces more diversity.

And Indian Muslim also don't have any caste system if somewhere they do discrimination then is because of where they coming from which country they coming background and Culture they are comes from however Allah will punish them
      unlike Hindus

2nd thing Castes was imposed on India by the Britishers in 1850 before that no literature of india had ever mentioned of caste . The castes included not only hindis but even muslims. And as you are saying that caste system is hindu thing , sorry to say but it's an Indian thing ( and as an Indian I feel shameful to say that). No other hindu majority country or state like Nepal, Mauritius, or the Island of Bali applies caste system.

No there is no caste system in Islam. Doesn't matter what caste you belong, you are all equal in Islam. There are set system, and the system is no way written in Islam but it is introduced by some scholars themselves. People follow the sect system but not the caste system. Sect system divide his people on the basis of the way they worship God. Meanwhile caste system divides people on the basis of the caste. Know the difference first.

That's not caste that's actually "sects". Like people having different opinion about something in Islam, so they divided themselves into sects according to their opinion or judgement. Like some people only pray farz prayer instead of praying the whole thing because they think it's enough.
So there is no caste system in here since they're going with their judgement. But yeah , (most) children born into a family which follows a particular sect follows in their parents footsteps. But as they grow up they also change as their views and understanding changes.
Also this is the rason why parents want their children to marry into a particular family , it's because of the similarities. And they don't in some because of their opinions (about the religion) diffentiate.

What I constantly want to remind foreigners about Korea is that it is a single-ethnic country comprised of only 96 percent Koreans. For 5000 years...
They were and are still doing well culturally and economically than most other countries.
There is no need to force them to change into a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural country.
They have always better options for them than multiethnicity and multiculturalism.
Because they're doing better than most multi-ethnic countries... Rather, it would be better for foreigners to adapt to Korean society.
Korean society is much more orderly, efficient and safer than that of most developed European countries and US.
No need to turn Korea into a mess.
It is better to leave Korea as the best region for Koreans. and when it comes to issues like racism, the people who enslaved black people and committed violence, murder, and genocide are in the west, not the east. even nowadays.
