Both were extremely fun to ride. Similar builds but each one is unique in it's abilities/outputs. For me the Mondraker's Zero Suspension floating rear triangle is the difference-maker as it almost makes you feel like you're hovering over the ground regardless of the terrain. The forward geo also makes it incredibly fast and stable. I have the best job in the world.
I own the Mondraker Crafty R in that same colour. The first thing I did was swap my Magura MT7 brakes over from my old bike. The G2's just arent anywhere near powerful enough for such a capable bike, plus I weigh 100kg so I need more stopping power and heat resistance. After almost a year of owning it, I still love it. It's such an awesome bike that is a perfect blend of enduro burliness and confidence with some trail bike nimbleness. A lot of enduro bikes are coming with slacker and slacker head angles these days and it makes the bike feel sluggish and lazy on singletrack. I think Mondraker has the perfect balance; long reach for downhil stability but relatively steep head angle for sharp steering. Overall I love the bike and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Only little gripe I have is that the headset is a bit creaky even though I have had it regreased a couple of times already. It's been like that since it was basically brand new.
Solid feedback. In this case, our demo bikes available were only an S4. I'm 6'3" so the S4 did feel a bit small but I usually opt for a smaller bike since I grew up riding BMX bikes and like to be a bit more nimble. What two brands/models would you like to see for our next showdown?
I am American but live in Malaga Spain. I have a Mondraker Crafty R and love it. The Bosch motor climbs like a homesick Angel.❤
Loving my new Mondraker level R from you guys in San Diego!
You can’t go wrong with either electric steed. But I’m all in for Bosch systems.
It was awesome seeing some of the San Diego scenery with Will Riding!

You guys are awesome I still love my Orbea Rise and bought the bike from your video reviews keep up with the videos
Everybody still tests size large to size large. Why don't people test bikes with closer reach numbers?
I have an s5, and I'm 6 foot and love it.
