Hey man, Idk if you remember me but I’m a 132 who was having trouble with my bench press. I’ve totally destroyed that trouble. Weighing 132lbs, standing 6ft tall, and being 15 years old, I pushed 201LBS yesterday on the bench!!!!
That's fuckin awesome! Congrats man! Sounds like there's a lot more there 💪
@@GarageStrength thanks dude! I know it’s ambitious but my next goal is 2 plates by Christmas.
@@reaganriddle you can do it dawg dont stress. good luck
That’s crazyyyyy
Do you walk at 132ish because that’s really strong for your height to weight ratio
This I could definitely work with. Back in wrestling I was right leg dominant and I can say I built a pretty respectable explosive shot. But now that I’m in MMA I need to build a shot out of my orthodox stance. So I want that same level of explosiveness
Got four programs yesterday. Appreciate your work. Perfect timing on the video
That's awesome lol Let me know how the programs go 💪
Dane this is awesome! Just listened to you on Phil’s podcast. Continued success!🤙💪🔥
Awesome! Thank you! Much love ✌
This is extremely helpful for judokas too
I have searched all over the internet for something like this thankyou for sharing. Checking out garage strength now
This is so interesting to get a wrestling perspective on explosive movements. I’m a gymnastics coach and I just started Jiu jitzu, I’ve notice a lot of the wrestlers are obviously much better, but they also move a lot more like gymnast. Makes sense because every single thing you showed in this video are things that we do in Gymnastics :-) instead of using the hurdles to do over unders we use beams, but other than that very similar. Your guy did a great job on the one legged jump overs, I know how hard it is to keep your chest up when you are that large. Did a great job.
This is a great vid with implications to rehab too.
I Will try those. Thanks
This is gold, thank you!
Thank you
Thank you very much ❤️❤️🇮🇷
thanks for sharing, nice exercices
I like your videos, my son is wrestling in France, have you thought of an organizer for the preparation stages? I would be interested.
THANKS MAN🤙 GOOD STUFF🔥
How often should I do explosive workout per week ?
Might tryout for wrestling
How many days of the week do I train like this and can I do this before my mma session
I would do before mma
The editing on this video 🤣 >>
Hey man, are explosive/jump weighted pistol squats good to improve double leg/single leg takedowns?
Yes! Try single leg squats and step-up jumps, as well!
Where can i get these bands?
here you go www.garagestrength.com/collections/equipment/products/powerlastic-latex-exercise-tube-bands

Do you have any beginner programs for wrestling, BJJ, boxing? Every program I click on your website says intermediate to advanced
Hey man! I think I responded to your email, but just incase I'll respond here! We have had our more novice wrestler hop this program and see big strength, explosive, and endurance gains!

.
I'm watching this because of Khamzat
Jan hella salty
He told him to hold his leg three times lol
I was waiting for someone to say this.
it looks like you just made all this up. that elastic band tied up leg jumping thing looks goofy and impractical.
Yeah, definitely. Just as goofy as a boxer training slips... How impractical to practice moving their body in ways that defend from their opponents methods of attack.
@@lurkytespaed6469 you got something to say pal?
@@lordsneed9418 I did, then I said it and now I don't.
@@lurkytespaed6469 didn't think so bub
@@lordsneed9418 Yeah, that's what I THOUGHT, little guy.
Hey coach would this also help in basketball? Since we have to be low and explosive? I keep pulling my lower back in basketball ever since i hit my 30's. My body is not reacting fast enough than my brain anymore and when i know a player is driving in but im facing the other way i usually pull my lower back when all of a sudden i explode with speed and try to intercept them 😑🥲
This could be beneficial for basketball players like yourself! Check out our recent Basketball video for some specific training!
