    I've had the maker 3 for 2 years ( embarrassing to say) I've only made about a few baby bodysuit designs and a few adult t-shirts. It is my first Cricut machine and it is truly over whelming . I got a bit down when I discovered that I jumped out and got it too fast not knowing what I was getting into . It is an expensive hobby. That is not much of an issue until I realize the supplies aren't plentiful for the price and when I ruin a design I feel like crap for a few days. Also there weren't very many tutorials on YT for the Maker 3 at the time I purchased. I am starting to see a few now. I also like the helpful video inside the Design Space , that I should have paid more attention to . I just pulled my machine out today after a long hiatus in learning how to use the machine. You were my first choice and you did an amazing job refreshing my memory . I got stuck on how to make a two toned design , but I needed this refresher. Thank you so much !

    Hi, do you have to use the colour paper or can you use plain paper and print the image in a colour?

    • @craftwithfelicia
      @craftwithfelicia  3 месяца назад

      In this video I used heat transfer vinyl in pink. If you have a sublimation printer, you can use sublimation paper to make shirts. There's also printable vinyl that works with inkjet printers.

    can you use a handheld iron to replace the heat press?

    • @craftwithfelicia
      @craftwithfelicia  2 месяца назад

      Yes you can with regular HTV. With sublimation material, you need heat of 385 degrees to 400. If your iron goes that high, you could do that as well.

      Just like we showed in this video. We cut words using htv and then pressed it. You can do this with images or text.

    How long do they usually last while washing

    • @craftwithfelicia
      @craftwithfelicia  Месяц назад

      @@luisleyva358 - Cricut says up to 50 washes. You do have to wait 24-48 hours before washing the first time after making the item and wash the item inside out. I’ve found low heat helps.

    Is that transfer tape on the back or just the back paper that comes with the iron on?

    • @craftwithfelicia
      @craftwithfelicia  Год назад

      Just the backing that comes with iron on material. 🙂

    • @desirebruce3755

      @@craftwithfelicia so is transfer tape only for using iron on vinyl?

    • @craftwithfelicia
      @craftwithfelicia  Год назад

      @@desirebruce3755 so sorry, just saw this! The backing on HTV (heat transfer vinyl) is plastic and comes attached to all HTV. Transfer tape itself, sold separately, is only used for permanent or removable vinyl , like when you apply it to a tumble, or a jar, or maybe wall words to a wall.

    Hi, I need help with something. I would be very grateful if you could help me.
    I bought Cricut maker 3. The package includes only the premium thin tip blade and cable.
    I am a small business and have no knowledge of Cricut.
    I want to write and print on T-shirts, shoes, leather and epoxy.
    I would be very grateful if you could write down which materials you think I should buy, one by one, as there is no one around me from whom I can get information.

    • @craftwithfelicia
      @craftwithfelicia  10 месяцев назад +2

      Hi - congrats on the purchase of the Cricut Maker 3. It's a great machine.
      For tshirts, you can use HTV (heat transfer vinyl, also called iron-on vinyl) on nearly any material (cotton, polyester, etc.). You will need:
      - HTV - lots of options on the market but HTVRONT makes a good variety pack to try - amzn.to/3S6Evi8
      - Iron or Heat Press - I love the HTVRONT Auto Heat Press - amzn.to/3S6Evi8
      If you want to make shirts using infusible ink and/or markers, you will need shirts that are very high in polyester. Infusible ink is like sublimation, it infuses into the material and you can't feel it. HTV, lays on top of fabric and you can feel it. You will need:
      - Infusible Ink - amzn.to/3vkgY4G
      - Infusible Ink Markers - amzn.to/41NKgVy
      - Iron or Heat Press - I love the HTVRONT Auto Heat Press - amzn.to/3S6Evi8 (infusible ink needs to be heated at 385-400 degrees)
      Hope this helps.
