Great Video and Finds!! Lots of folks don’t realize that pockets on trousers/pants were a luxury that a lot of folk didn’t have back in the day and so they would put holes in coins and utilize cords hold their money or they would have a pouch they would tie onto something to hold their coinage and personal affects.

Lovely finds, that French coin you have there is napoleon the 3rd, I found one in my garden from 1854, his coins date from the early 1850s to 1870.

@@nuggetnoggin yeah imagine. I found a coin from the late 1700s in my driveway, imagine how that got there and what it was hundreds of years ago for the coin to have gotten there. Metal detecting is truly a fantastic hobby.
If I may make a suggestion, Nugget. You should start carrying a couple of small brushes, to help you clean things off with, instead of rubbing things on your pants. When you find coins especially, you could be scratching or devaluing them by rubbing them with your fingers or on your pants. Happy hunting.!!!

Damn brother. This channel (which is absolutely great) has been stuck in the 700k subs for the longest damn time! Let’s get this man to 1 million!
RUclips is Deleting every NEW Subscriber I gain. They have been doing this since late 2019 / early 2020. I can see it in my Analytics . Every month I gain and lose the exact same amount of subs. For example: If I gain 2,500 new people, by end of month I'll lose 2,500 subs and = 0 GAINED. It's absolutely unreal, and I cannot explain it. This is not normal. I can't get to 1 million because youtube won't let me. When 20 new people subscribe, they take away 20 other old accounts from years ago, and it keeps me in this 1 step forward 2 steps back phase.

It was decent lol! Very slow on good signals , it did have a few good finds hiding in there though. The reale and button made it worth visiting. It was detected hard years ago so I could only imagine how much they got

Hey, Nugget, Great finds. I do so ever have a big question to ask you. I went detecting at an old early 1800s plantation site. Spent an hour and found 2 items. One was part of a horse bit and bridle, and the other was an unknown piece of brass. I uploaded a quick video on my channel titled "what did i find". If you could look at it and maybe tell me what it could be, it would mean the absolute world to me. Thanks fort the new vid!

The first "blade" is definitely a blade. A file would not bend. Files are hardened. It would snap before bending.
