  • Kai Jones is no longer in the NBA after a bizarre episode that left many people thinking he needs professional help. At the very least he called out his own teammates on X and they unfollowed him on social media. The kid definitely has talent but what happened to him?

@@DresdenShuffleMiles Bridges pled guilty and the league issued him a 30-game suspension. That's off the court, and Miles has been putting in work with the Charlotte Hornets and gelling with his teammates.
Compare that to Kai Jones, who skipped every voluntary workout leading up to training camp. Then, dissed all his teammates on Twitter.

I've seen Kai act this way before in Orlando when he drank like 10 red bulls in 1 hour. He does have family history of schizophrenia and when he gets amped up like with the red bull dude disconnects from reality and goes from a super high Im on top of the world and can do anything to a super low when he comes down he gets scary. He gets lonely and says everyone jates him or only want to be around for his money and in the nba that is something that happens and of those who say red bull won't do that your wrong because he claimed he can talk to dead people and do witchcraft. And seeing some of the things he drawing on his walls it looks like heay he back into the witchcraft. He was buying those gas station energy pills like stacker and yellow jackets and those made him even worse than the red bull and I'm afraid he has found something else that has triggered his history of schizophrenia and I pray its not illegal drugs. I actually believe that the he is schizophrenic and and he is finally showing the symptoms he has been able to hide until now. He is good person and I hate that everyone is attacking him when they should be reaching out to help and far to many people want to write him off and overlook his actual mental health issues and accuse him of taking drugs. I pray his family can get him back on the right path and that path may or may not include basketball but to save his life and get his mental health under control is the most important thing now.

Man the league is just different now with social media you got John wick Morant u got all these All-Star players that just crash out for females it just seems like a lot of these guys make really poor decisions and have a lot of bad people surrounding them that don't give them good advice nor have their best interest at heart

Not to play armchair doctor, but could possibly be a manic episode? This is all very very sad and unfortunate, and a shame his team/the NBA doesn't seem willing to help him out. I hope he gets supportive people around him, mental health care (if necessary), and can live a good life, even if it's not in the NBA.

He just needs a break. And good ppl around him. Charlotte just showed they don’t give a f*** . This is your teammate , why would you not try to help. Anyway, he should be evaluated , take the correct steps then be back by next year.

Good take..I don't know why people think drugs when the NBA DEFINITELY drug tested him and would've IMMEDIATELY made a statement and kicked him out the league (Like they did Birdman for 2 years) ppl don't use their brains these days I guess
