Paul George is still one of the best players in the NBA and I for real thought his career was over when he literally snapped his leg in half😱so glad he’s still playing at a high level in the league.
Hopefully he and Kawhi can get farther in the playoffs in the coming years! PG is a bucket when he has his confidence behind him. If he could take a more playmaking position with Kawhi as the main scorer that would be crazy! PG breaking down the defense, driving down the lane and then throw it out the wing. He could easily put up like 8 Ast a night. 🔥
@@bannybruh Donovan Mitchell , Devin Booker , jaylen brown , Anthony edwards , Beal all better . And if talking sf then jimmy , lebron , Tatum , kawhi , Ingram all better 😂
The John Wall story still hurts me to this day. What he could have been without the injuries. Got so many dudes paid with his insane passing. People that never watched him play and talk shit saying he got paid so much money to sit is the narrative I can’t stand. He stayed healthy he would have been worth all that money. Injuries are no one’s fault. Still ride with John Wall to this day.
I always liked playing with Baul and Beal on 2k I liked that duo even if they where always going to be 1st or 2nd round exits, they where fun to watch and Wall dang there made everyone around him better, even if they where bench riders
If only they would have traded multiple picks for Cousins with Beal, Wall and Cousins they would dominate the East and probably win 1 title atleast Cousins and Wall had chemistry because they both played with each other in Kentucky

Just a stand up guy too that faced a lot of tragedy. Him talking about the news that that girl he’d cheered up so much passed of cancer still breaks my heart.
I feel like you guys severely undersold Paul George’s career. He came back strong after that leg injury and has made multiple All Star, All NBA and All Defense teams since then. He was also a legit MVP candidate his last year when he averaged a 28-8-4 and led the league in steals. He’s the most accomplished player in the 2010 draft by a long shot.
I absolutely love how u went into some off-the-court highlights. These guys mean so much more than their years lacing up, and their impact on their communities is not highlighted enough. Love your channel, man
Hearing what Evan Turner said in his interview recently, he really got shafted. The 76ers were not trying to win and they were building a losing culture around a lot of young guys.

I remember this draft class real well because it was featured in NBA 2K11, my first ever 2k and imo the best 2k ever made, back when 2k wasn't greedy with all the VC bs.
I like that you say that something like Euroleague MVP is impressing. I oftentimes get the feeling that European (or international) Basketball gets overlooked in America. Great videos btw. Keep it up
John Wall at one point looked poised to surpass Chris Paul as the best natural point guard in the NBA. He had the pass first mentality, while being super athletic and freakishly fast. Sadly, injuries weren't kind to him, and we were robbed of a few more deep playoff runs with Beal in Washington. Demarcus Cousins too. Man he was playing like an MVP before he went down with a career-altering injury
Same story with Gordon Hayward. Just became an All-Star, took out Harden in the Playoffs & signed with a legit contender. He was in position to be in a 1A-1B situation on a possible NBA Championship team.
The other guy that snapped his leg is also the only other player from this class that is still in the NBA. He would be producing even more than he is if he wasn't on such a terrible team that is just trying to develop young players.
PG is still elite; you should’ve went more in depth with how dominant of a player he’s been. You regulated it all to just shortcomings and injuries. I understand time constraints but he’s easily the best player from this class. No way Xavier Henry got his numbers broken down than PG. Gordon Heyward needs more respect, still a really good player.
That’s not really surprising, 2010 was 13 years ago and the average NBA player has a 3.5 year career. There’s two rounds 80% of 2nd round picks don’t play. With major injuries to Wall, Boogie, George and Hayward in their 30s it makes sense
Kinda wild that the 2 best Wings had terrible leg injuries in their Primes. The best Guard had his career halted by injuries. The best big had his career halted by injuries. That's unfortunately the theme with this Draft. The 4 best players in the class all had major injuries that altered their careers.
John Wall without injuries is a hall of famer. I dont care. High defensive potential, and one of the best passers in the league. And he was absolutely electrifying. Not to ignore the fact that he just is one of the best shot blocking guards of all time. Its saddening
Man I rmb Xavier Henry was finding his stride during those dark Lakers day. Dropping some pretty decent numbers and then he tore his ACL? He was never the same since 😔
I really thought this was going to be one of the better draft classes it sucks what injuries did with this class I was sold on that whole Kentucky core especially John Wall and Demarcus Cousins. At the time I really thought Boogie was supposed to be one. I also enjoyed Evan Turner at Ohio State.
Been loving your videos, you’re up next. I do want to say, you always say “16-17 season” or “19-20 season”, just say the year the title was won it makes it easier lol. Like this season would be the 2024 season. Not a big deal at all, just something to help the sentences flow better and simplify it.
John Wall is a perfect cautionary tale for talented young players who want to sign super max contracts with garbage franchises. LaMelo Ball just ruined his career the same way. Now he’ll spend the rest of his prime putting up meaningless stats on a trash team and sustaining injury after injury, and by the time the contract is up and Melo “wants to win” . We’ll be talking about a washed up star in their 30s who was never the same after injuries

Gordon Haywood is legit one of the top college basketball players of all time.
Now PG is the only one remaining in this draft after Hayward’s retirement.
The way David stern mispronounced names is wild 😭

Jeremy Lin was undrafted that year. He did well in his 2012 run with the Knicks (for 2 weeks but still).

agreed! Injuries definitely got to them
Gordon broke his leg, he is still pretty ok. Wall just was hurt for to long got washed. PG13 has been doing fine. Boogie is a mental child.

Vazquez also part of one of the most lopsided Raptors trades-him to the Milwaukee Bucks for the picks that would become OG and Norman Powell
I still believe Wall could help alot of teams out there. Shit Washington needs him
Boogie's injury in New Orleans is the biggest WHAT-IF concerning the 2010 draft class.

John Wall was such an inspiration, when he was out for almost 2 years with the Injury, he finished his degree.
Wesley Johnson was on the lakers too back when we couldn’t get a win lol
