I just responded to this video saying the very same thing. I think i liked Kittenish and Innocent the best with Sultana being just another typical plum/berry color.
The middle and deepest shades were SO pretty on you! You totally rocked the lightest one with that lip liner too. So pretty! I just might have to pick up Kittenish- I love that shade!
I have the one in Spontaneous and love it..they have a great smell /taste too. just the perfect amount of shine! I thought they stopped making these so I'm SO happy to see them available again!
I love how you talk about all makeup brands as if they're on the same level. Like there's no difference between MAC and Elf. There are some beauty gurus that just exult high end makeup like it's always better than drugstore makeup, and I just love how you see the good and the bad in each brand like it's all the same. You rock Emily!! :)
I totally agree with how you feel about "Innocent". It's nice but doesn't look finished, it looked like a "watered down" kind of formula if that makes sense. It looks great with the lip liner on top!
I recieved Kittenish and Ruby as a gift (the 2 colors are very similar & I like both) & Emily is right, they're SUPER moisturizing :) even after the color had worn off I still felt residual moisture on my lips. Unfortunately, i dont feel theyre worth 20 bucks a pop. MAC has made some decent products over the years but Ive been able to dupe (or damn near) most. So i dont really purchase MAC anymore, but it was a nice gift that certainly wont go to waste!
I LOVE these! They're especially great if you want to try a bright lip but are hesitant to go super intense. I really like Berry Bold (a beautiful red) Teen Dream (a vibrant orange) and Pleasant (a berry pink). You're right though, the rounded tip can make for a sloppy application if you're not careful.
Yup I really like the shine and moisture they give to the lips ! A great shade from the range is Spontaneous. It is similar to Kittenish, a bit darker but more translucent... An everyday rosy plumy glossy color :) I love it.
Great review! I have been impatiently waiting for your perspective on these lippies. French Kiss IMO is more wearable than Innocent. Innocent seems a lot "drier" in formulation. I bought 3 (French Kiss, Kittenish & Sultana) & definitely considering Teen Dream.😊

hey Emily, I know a good idea for a video. I read once that how people's lipstick after alot of use looks will show what personality they are. It was really interesting. Like, if you tend to use it and then it's flat, or if it stays pointed or curved.......interesting article. I know when I use mine they look alot rounded and don't stay in the shape they came in. Just a thought.

Kat Hamilton what sets these apart most is how moisturizing they are. You might find similar drugstore shades, but the level of shine & moisture makes these more unique for me. I was just saying in another comment-- the Neutrogena color sticks are fabulous where hydration is concerned- but they just need to put out more colors that are shimmer free! :)

As far as visually, I think Sultana and Kittenish are both beautuful shades but Sultana isnt all that different of a deep berry/plummy shade (not too impressed). Being an owner of Kittenish, I agree that the shade has a depth to it thats just a liiiiittle bit different than the maaany pinks we see. BUT, Innocence(? the palest shade), I humbly disagree, i think that it is gorgeous on you, especially with your tan! I think a little lipliner is necessary for a bit of color but i dont even think you needed to add as much color as you did. But that color made your tan prominent and your lips look very full! It was different for you and i loved it!
