FINALLY, IT’S HERE! I’ve been working on this video for way over a month now, maybe even two. The hardest part was finding a perspective and the approach to teaching in these tutorials. But I think I'm starting to get a feel of how I want to teach in these videos! :) #brbchasingdreams
kelogsloops your tutorials never disappoint!! it is quite awesome how much you show without telling every detail! so in love with your channel (and your mum!)
Great video! I think you did a really good job at how to teach it in an informative, captivating way (some other people's art videos can be slow and boring or not very helpful). I've been wanting to try out water colour more this year, along with trying lots of different art mediums/techniques/styles as next year I'll be doing my HSC. So this came in handy! :)
I'm so lazy and stupid. I expect to be good at watercolors just because I love the effect it makes. But I hate to practice since I have this fear of using out all my paints on nonsense. I need to get over this fear and I'm going to try this out. Thank you.
I was the same until a few weeks ago! I use cheap paper for practising and better paper for my actual pieces. Take the step, its liberating once you her over that fear x
dude I am a complete beginner, I am like level 0... and I am not going to art school, so am planning to be a self taught artist and art is my passion.... so I would kindly suggest u to make a complete beginner playlist or a series.... and start from the scratch coz I am very inspired by ur work and I think I can learn from u pretty well...😇😀😃😆
(After binge-watching your tutorials, I have no life-I know) I watch other people's vids teach beginners to use watercolours by doing timelapses and by the end of them I get so intimidated at their mastery and piece that I get discouraged. Thank the heavens I found your channel. You actually go through the journey with us and not speed everything up and you really explain the how and why of each action. You helped me so much, thank you! You obliterated evry doubt I had. Thank you so much.
Oh thank you! I'm new to watercolor and have seen lots of vids. Yours are by far the most helpful because you talk about specifics: how much water to add to paint, how much paint to load onto the brush, how the brush should come into contact with the paper. I really, really appreciate it and you have a very happy new sub!
I very much enjoy your tutorials, in the past I've found people too technical or the opposite where they don't go into any detail. Your voice is also perfect for explaining.
Your accent and the gentle background humming is so relaxing, I love it! I'm comfortable with traditional drawing and shading, but was not feeling very confident with watercolor Your guides really helped me!
even though I'm years late, thank you so much for this video! i actually love wet on dry techniques from the start, now that i know more of it, I'm getting pumped up!
I have watched quite a few tutorials on how to use watercolour but I still had tons of queries. This video and the introduction one are detailed enough to cover a lot areas that others don’t and answer a lot of my queries.
I've watched a few watercolour tutorials like this but I have to say this was by far the best! Straight to the point and super clear, only issue (that isn't really much of an issue) is we can't always see what you're doing exactly with the brush as your hand gets in the way from time to time - even with that, it's still super helpful and I can't wait for part 2!
j wildflower if I had a youtube I'd love to. But sadly I don't. plus don't think my arts too great either. I'd be happy to put you on my instagram though
Thank you for your tutorial. I was distracted by your hands. But I still learnt a lot. I don't usually use watercolor, but I am more eager to try now. Thanks kelogsloops!
I am fully a guy who believes in diversity and I am NOT spaming for others, but I would like to say that The Mind of Watercolor is a fantastic channel as well. Diversify and be happy. After watching several masters here I havw developed a style I call mine. tyvvm Namaste gentle beings.
Thanks for your tutorials. And I really love you! Because you speak fast, not like others too slow that I have to use 1.5x to watch the video. Be good and great!
I have just discovered your channel. Your tutorials are amazing! So detailed but articulate and easy to follow. Your choice of background music is perfect in creating a calm and inviting environment while never overshadowing the content. Your artistic skills are incredible and inspiring. I can't believe your youth and expertise! Thank you so much.
Ive been waiting so long for you to post a video, your videos never fail to inspire me and ive learned so much from them and just from your tips and tricks. I love your approach and just how you seem to speak lightheartedly it just adds to how amazing the video is. Your work is beautiful and so is your mindset so continue the great work and all your efforts are deeply appreciated ❤️❤️

You are my favourite artist and thank you thank you thank you so much for sharing!! You are the best Hieu!! :)

You're so good at explaining. I always find this kind of tutorial really rushed and confusing, but yours is just so well organized I feel like I could actually learn something! I can't wait for the rest. :D
I'm impressed how you could rework a wet on dry gradient on cold press paper, when I try that the paper quickly soaks it up and I have no time to rework it.
I've waiting so long for this video 😆! I follow you on Instagram and was so happy when you announced doing another watercolor tutorial. The video was very helpful, thank you :)
I found your tutorial well organized and informative, awesome job! I also appreciate how you propose alternative solutions when you found yourself making a mistake. Looking forward to the second part! 😁
Thank you for this video!! Ive never knew that it is normal for the watercolour paper to be crumpled.. i thought that ive done it wrong and that's why ive stopped try water colouring. But after seeing your video, i wanted to give water colour painting one more try!!!
Hey hieu! 😄 can you make a video about artist's problem? I mean You aree soo good at painting and you definitely gets so many requests from your friends, fan or even any kind of random person to draw them.we always dont feel like to draw everyone. I noticed one thing that you only try out to do something creative. So how do you deal with them without making them sad? And yes you are my inspiration :') I am glad that I have found you. People like you need to be in this world. So blessed :') you seem so friendly and open minded too. No matter what happens to this world i will always be your well wisher. great tutorial and high quality of showcasing how to practise a proper technique. Just one advice: please make the music less repetitive next time. Maybe try the music from explosions in the sky or Kai Engel.

Great video! I think you did a really good job at how to teach it in an informative, captivating way (some other people's art videos can be slow and boring or not very helpful). This is exactly where I'm at right now. Have you practiced since then?

Anonymous Anyone can enjoy art regardless of being an expert or beginner. You can have a huge passion of art even though you don't draw.
Anonymous Kawsar most likely he loves art that's why he's trying to learn how to paint and has a huge passion.
People like you would be the most amazing teachers ever! so easy to understand and its so helpful :D
