What do you do with nightime exteriors? I've never actually done it for real, but the other day at sundown I was at a forest, the light was pretty even, it looked soft like moonlight, I just switched the color temperature to the bluest bue and under exposed by two stops, recorded myself running, looked like the real deal.
I am a little confused what you mean by tinting, do you mean that you are putting a gel on the window, or just pumping a 4300K light through it to simulate moonlight? When doing the latter are you blocking out sunlight first?
@@VladimirSpevakbut to able able to see the depth out of the windows Patrick is talking about, dont you still not need to use a gel to bring natural daylight to 4300k to match the “moonlight”(plus some nd)
Please do a video on lens filtration and specifically diffusion. What are your go-to's, how strong, etc?
less is more but some swear by 1/2

Sarcastic answers please.

Agreed , I never heard of " tinting windows " can tint the light or the camera .
Patrick says 'tenting' here. Tinting is what was in the question post, there is no actual tinting in night shoots
@@VladimirSpevak ah ok , got it ,the question had a typo :) .. must concentrate more and drink less Gin :)

@coudik I think a lot of times it's easier to adjust your camera wb and indoor lights if needed :)
