- On the second half of our trip we head from Serpentine Lake to Copper Lake. After a full day of rain we were fortunate enough to get a day of sun. To avoid mosquitos we spent most of the day exploring and fishing out on the water. To close out the trip we got to check out an epic waterfall that was along one of the final portages of the loop. All in all it was a great couple of days out in the backcountry!

That is a great little route! Serpentine lake is definitely one of my favorites! Although I added Anderson lake to one trip and the next lake... rock lake maybe lol really all of them are beautiful...
But under no circumstances take the mash between Anderson and copper lake after june... lmao it becomes quite the slog! 😂
Great video!!
What a great trip and killer footage. And the sunset was amazing. I've never been to the Kawartha Highlands, gonna have to visit now and can't belileve I missed the first video. I'll have to go back and check it out! Thanks for sharing, Rob.
Thank you!! Really appreciate it! I really enjoyed Kawartha Highlands. Some really nice little lakes, especially serpentine lake. It was stunning. Will be visiting again in the future!
You need to keel it when solo (shift your weight into the paddle side) combined with paddle ruddering
It’s time to come back my dude
Thanks man. I’m ready to come back, I’ve been wanting to get out for a while now and haven’t had the opportunity. New videos will be coming soon!!
Well captured! Did this last year, but in late April so the bugs weren’t out yet.
Thank you! And that would be a great time to go. Would love to go back to Serpentine Lake. Such a beautiful spot
Hello, just wondering how long your portage takes from the site to the lake? do you know how long it takes to the Raccoon Lake access to Little Turtle or Adam site?
