I watched a bunch of your most recent videos and I really enjoyed them so, I’m starting here and working my way forward to get caught up lol
Appreciate that Alan. I'm not very proud of my older vids but hey, gotta start somewhere! Thanks for your support.
This video was much better with a buddy . Thanks 👍🇨🇦
Bug jackets for those nasty little buggers ! 🇨🇦👍
Thanks for sharing. Great vblog and showing using your tarp over the firepit like that. I really like my MEC Reactor as well.
Thanks so much for watching and your comment.
I’m sure the trip was well worth a few big bites .thats just part of a trip. Thanks 😂
Great video buddy! It's been a long while since I've been out so I enjoyed it👍. We've all went down the wrong trail at some point lol! Looking for the next one, Wade
Woodswalker 1965 Thanks Wade. Appreciate the support.
Sounds like the trail isn’t marked very well. I hope you mentioned it to the park rangers. If you don’t it won’t be fixed. Great job guys thanks. 🇨🇦👍
Oh man we have all done that before. Enough to make a ma snap especially if stuck carrying the canoe hahahahha great video.
Scott Matthews Thanks Scott!
I hope your channel does really well! This is my favourite kind of YT content. I cannot wait to get back in a canoe (in Algonquin).
Really appreciate that Paul. Thanks for watching.
I hope you guys told the park superintendent about that poorly marked wrong or confusing trail . Thanks 👍🇨🇦
Really enjoy your videos man. Keep it up. Could you do a gear run though or your canoe camping gear?
It had just rained and been windy. Could the crashing trees have been a result of water weight? Tks for sharing the journey.
Thanks for watching!
Is there a reason why you eat late at night or is it just tradition
Hey! Just a preference. I like to enjoy the cooking process so it usually takes a while.
Where did you pick up the wool blanket from?
Surplus store in the Carolinas. Thanks for watching buddy.
Next time it will be a bi
I do on average enjoy your videos, honestly, I fast fwd thru a fair amount of it, but I enjoy the scenery and the camp stuff. However, in every video you document yourself breaking the laws of the park, whether it be listening to the radio in a radio-free zone or enjoying a can of beer or cooking a can of spam etc. Being conscientious about breaking the rules (packing the trash out etc.) is not
the same as following the letter of the law. Just an observation, I'll get off my soapbox now.
Respectfully,
RED
There are a lot of rules and laws in this world that are in place because of evil, ignorant and/or unintelligent people. If someone is going to leave a campsite a mess, they are going to whether the rules are there or not. In the case of this video, I would have put music on too if it meant avoiding an encounter with a bear. There is already a "no littering" law, why have a "no can" rule? You just make the crime "more bad"... and if someone is going to break the littering law, they are certainly going to break the can rule.
“Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.”
-George Carlin
No glass is one rule I hope everyone follows. If someone drops a can no big deal, drop a bottle and you have a mess forever.
@@cgmiller82 appreciate your response.
Hey Red, I've learned alot from comments about rules I've broken in the past and how I can improve my videos. Not sure if youre watching any of my newer stuff but I cut alot of fat and am very conscience of rules. Be clear though, I've always respected the parks and leave my sites better than when I arrived. Thanks for watching and for your comments.
@@AdamRomanoExplores I did watch your 5 part N-S Algonquin and quite enjoyed it. Keep up the good work. Thanks for the response.
FYI when you swear in English you shouldn't say "pardon my French" your use of foul language has nothing to do with being French. Enjoyed you video up until that point. Map and compass and following a bearing and backup GPS with the waypoint saved in it go a long way when navigating.
Pardon my English.
@@AdamRomanoExplores much better 😉 I did go back and finish your video yesterday. I guess a lesson learned is you can get lost anywhere and should always check and double check your map and waypoints. That's what we teach at Frontenac park 🙂
@@chantalst-amour423 if I remember the situation correctly I got lost on this trip because of a canoe on my head missing signs. I have a Garmin now after getting really lost in Temagami a couple of years ago. Those things are worth every penny!
@@AdamRomanoExplores I never leave home without mine. Once my packboat comes in I'll be hitting the inner lakes of Kawartha and Algonquin and hopefully Temagami next summer. I got all my maps and planning routes already lol
@@chantalst-amour423 safe travels!
too-much of you face and out of focus scenery
Haha agreed. Who'd want to look at that! Check out my newer stuff. I keep my ugly mug to a minimum.
