- Finally back on the water with another canoe camping trip. On this trip I spend 3 days south of Hwy 60 doing a 42 km loop through Cache, Head, Harness, Big Porcupine, Ragged, Smoke and back to Cache.
We enjoy the beautiful weather of late July in the park as I use this as a warm up for a lengthy trip coming up in the fall.
Thank you for watching. I hope you enjoy it.
Yes, you have to take the Algonquin Plunge!!! Thx for bringing us back to our most fav trip ever!...we so wish we were able to canoe Algonquin this year....hopefully 2021

Enjoyed that. I did initially think it would be too long to keep me glued to the screen without distractions but I was wrong. Nice mate 👌

Thanks Martin. Appreciate it.
Nice scenery.
Beaver dams are an obstacle but I look at it as a way to keep the water levels. Might actually help on some creeks.
Absolutely. Thanks for your comment and for watching!!
Nice to see you back out buddy and great video! I hope to get back out soon...its been a long 2020!
Thanks Steve. Yes it has. Glad I was able to finally get a video out!

@@AdamRomanoExplores what stove are you using in this video?
@@stephenbouchard8075 MSR Pocket Rocket 2. It's a bit heavier and bulkier than other stoves but it's reliable!
Thank you for taking the time to film your wonderful adventures and sharing them with us! :)
Appreciate you coming along Jacqueline. Thanks for watching!!
Great intro and editing! Using a new camera? I enjoyed the video and thanks for sharing!
Thanks buddy. Ya the campsite filming is now with a sony a6600. Thanks for watching!!
You should read the poetry of William Henry Drummond on one of your canoe trips. It might help with your pronunciation of Cache Lake.😃
"His first book of poetry, The Habitant (1897), was extremely successful, establishing for him a reputation as a writer of dialect verse that has faded since his death."
Hahaha. Watch one my Temagami videos and you'll see that I commonly butcher names. I apologize for those who may be offended. Thanks for watching and I'll definitely check out that book. I'm heading to the same area tomorrow morning! Have a good one.
Dad, this comment is so Christian Bale in American Psycho and your eyes aren't even open in your profile pic. Also mom's upset because you filled the car with the wrong gas again and it didn't start for her this morning.
Tell your friends to put their life jackets on please. Nice trip otherwise. Thanks for sharing with us.
Hi Adam, looks like a great route! Thanks for sharing. What kind of wenonah is that?
Departing on this same loop, opposite direction in a few days. Anything notable not mentioned in the video? Thanks for sharing!
Will be doing this loop this summer. Annual cousin trip. This will be an easier trip than what we’re used to. How’s the fishing along this route? Heading up late august. Jeff’s map shows brookies and Lakers, just wondering if anyone can confirm?
Hey Phillip. Thanks for watching. Not sure about the fishing. I've never had luck in Algonquin except when in the far southern sections. Good luck with your trip!
@@AdamRomanoExplores thanks for the response Adam. Enjoy the videos! Hopefully we don’t get skunked. At least we will catch a buzz.
@@phillb2k that's guaranteed :)
