Beautiful job buddy, I’m just watching it again for the second time. The train ride adds an extra element of adventure for sure. You guys absolutely earned those rest days.👊
@@AdamRomanoExplores I am begining in winter slay expedition, having my first trip 4 days in january. I learn a lot from these videos, and now have to test it for real.
Camping above freezing or with lots of snow is ideal. That point of low snow and frozen ground makes the tent stake scenario difficult. Good filming , editing ,natural sounds, speaking and music. Nice mix of modern equipment and some traditional gear. Nice expedition
Appreciate that buddy. Most people don't realize the work, time and money it takes to make a trip video. Your comments and appreciation is what motivates me to get back out there. Thanks man!
Just found your channel now, looking forward to watching all of your videos! Good timing, I'm off to do some winter camping tomorrow morning, always nice to see what tips I can pick up. All the best from Toronto.
A really enjoyable watch! I loved the drone shots especially. I'm curious what your thoughts are on your tent and stove setup? Thanks for putting this together, it gets me excited for winter camping season. Cheers Adam!
Hey buddy. Thanks for watching. Pros and cons to this setup. It's small for long nights alone but its light and heats up really quick. I love this stove but -30C with a bigger tent and you'd still be cold. You can see the issues i had in high wind and this center pole tent setup. The video may not show it but I was worried about it blowing over as I couldn't get my snow anchors to sinter up quick enough. I purposely wanted to do everything solo to test myself but the snowtrekker went up much easier in high winds. This setup only weighed about 20lbs, pretty hard to beat that. Thanks for watching. Let me know if you have any other questions.
My first video from you YT channel. Very nice work and I enjoyed it very much. Your videography is solid. Looking forward to checking out more of your videos. How about a suggestion on the next one? Merry Xmas.
Hey buddy. Thanks for checking it out. Sent you the tent. It's a good light weight option but the bigger options leave something to be desired. You can see the issues i had in high wind but overall I'm really glad I have it for solo trips. See you on the next one!
What a trip ! I like how you guys planned one day ahead by making trail so the slush would freeze at night , good thinking ! Great video , new sub here from Québec
Well done skippy. Breathtaking drone footage and perfect music choices to boot. Love it!
