Hey Zafaris, i had a quick question, do you think it's necessary to do an epq if i wanna apply for CS, mainly applying for the top unis like ucl, imperial, kings etc. I was thinking of doing my epq on cyber security but i feel like i would have to spend alot of my time in the next 2 months cause i may have left it till last minute 😅. do u think its worth doing it even if its to write just 2 sentences about it on my PS. Will it be a "huge" advantage/disadvantage if i do/don't do it? Thanks

Yo zafaris. I wanted to ask, do you think I'd be missing out on alot of I don't live in student accomodation? Got an offer for UCL CS and InshAllah if I get the necessary grades will be going this September, but I'm not sure if I want to max out a maintenance loan to pay for accommodation when I can just live at home in Stepney and commute an hour a day (essentially saving 8k a year)
Will I struggle to make solid friends etc?

Yo! Many of my closest friends have commutes of up to an hour. The commute isn't too bad so if you're fine with that you'll save a ton of money. It might be a bit harder initially to meet people, but just go to lots of taster sessions and activities at the beginning and join societies. You will make great friends from your course and from societies, Insha Allah. Also go to the common prayer areas and you'll meet great bros. You've got this bro
