    Hey, I’m going to Tokyo and wanting to hunt down a Japanese rockets scyther you can see one at 0:08 for 4000 yen, I was just wondering what you think the average proce should be? ( I know it’s condition dependent) but is ¥4000 for a lightly played card?
    Also trying to find the vid where you pick yours up ahaha, any help would be appreciated (if you don’t remember, no worries)
    Thank you!

      Very cool card! As you said, it is all condition and store dependent. There isn't a set market price. 4,000 for lightly played seems high. I started this binder challenge series with many cards already in the collection. I think Scyther is one I already had, so it isn't in any of the videos.

    Do you know if any of these card shops have online websites you can purchase from?

    • @Dark_ibex
      @Dark_ibex  2 месяца назад +1

      The bigger the store, the more likely they will have an online shop. Having that said, I'd advise against buying from them online because you are usually buying blind. Better to go with eBay, for example, since you get to see pictures.

      @@Dark_ibex thanks! I’m trying to find some shops in Japan that are cheaper than eBay, do you know of any that have an online storefront?

    Psa is def more strict with Japanese cards for vintage. Even for next to perfect cards if a bit off center or barely anything wrong, they give 9’s and even 8’s. Def not worth the gamble to grade raw vintage Japanese. Better off selling them raw.

    Losing hope for finding anything reasonably priced in Japan. Prices are cooked everywhere

    • @Dark_ibex
      @Dark_ibex  2 месяца назад +1

      Good deals are out there, but yes, you can find most cards for the same price or even cheaper on eBay.

      @@Dark_ibex makes no sense that eBay is cheaper since they take a cut out of their sales, physical stores just getting greedy.

      @@aidos9753 Stores have to pay rent, salaries, etc. Someone just selling a card they don't want to collect anymore on eBay will be perfectly happy getting less.
