Question: Mate and I are going to Japan in Feb and we are not sure where to get a good quality card binder like VaultX, Palm Gaming, Ultra Pro, Gamegenic and etc. Any shops that sell those In Japan or should we bring one with us?

Japanese cards ARE super easy to grade, despite the subpar print quality we saw last year through Ruler of the Black Flame. Sent in 60 cards and only one came back a PSA 9 because it was off center. So, it's not so much the print quality but rather the fact that PSA just don't care. Now I just assume every card I pull is pretty much an automatic 10.

I doubt it I have been buying selling and grading vintage Japanese cards for a while now. Opening grading the 151 Japanese set during the peak that was profitable by dumb chance. Yeah sealed is the way to do it.

I see a lot of places will sell individual cards, but will they buy or trade them from people who bring in their collection?

I appreciate the sentiment and did learn things from the video. I think it's a bit disingenuous to "ignore" the shipping costs per listing because they can vary so wildly and is absolutely inflated in many cases to make their base price look the best to boost traffic.

Funny Argument from an "Investor": Don't buy when you get the investment for cheap! 😂 We all know Japanese cards will rise - maybe in 1 year, maybe in 2, maybe in 5 - but they will rise, like they always do. The only odd thing I see at the moment is the lack in paper quality, which makes me sad.

I came across this channel by chance, and combining walks through Tokyo with discussions about Pokémon cards is an amazing mix!

i found too many shops that just didnt have much of anything, or if they did the prices were pretty overpriced. Still picked a few cards up, just cause. Are you able to haggle on price at all, or have you tried?

Love your videos man, that early morning vibe is just awesome. I love strolling around Ikebukuro and hitting all the stores but sometimes it can get awfully crowded, so seeing it in that peaceful morning hours definitely hits different :)
