    People who hadn't driven EV for long drive will not understand the difference in comfort in a sound less vibration less ev....they will consider only the money aspect.... it's a pity that reviews doesn't highlight the comfort aspect 😊

      Thank you for reaching out. I appreciate your feedback. It seems there might have been a misunderstanding.
      I might not have explicitly discussed the comparison of driving comfortability between electric vehicles and conventional ones, I did touch upon the comfortability aspect specifically concerning the Punch EV. At the 8:12 mark, I elaborated on the comfort features of the Punch EV, indicating that the same level of comfort could be expected across other electric car models as well. This implies that the comfort experience provided by the Punch EV serves as a representative example of what to expect from electric vehicles in general. Therefore, while the video may not delve into a direct comparison, it does provide insights into the comfortability aspect within the context of electric cars.

    Try avoiding regen mode on highways, the trick for good range is let it coast as much as possible. And also charge only till 80% on long trips!!

      @@SAJITHSAJEEVthat’s generally done to enhance battery life.. charging to 80% ensures the structure of lithium atoms are not disrupted. This is more a best practice, no hard n fast rule. But it gives results when combined with other best practices like avoiding frequent charging unless needed, charging to 100% and leaving the car idle for couple of days etc.

    is it worth to take the Vehicle. How about the performance in hill area pulling and Milage.. for example if you are climbing Tharmarasseri Churam how much charge it consume and range get...

    • @SAJITHSAJEEV
      @SAJITHSAJEEV  4 месяца назад

      Thank you for your inquiry! While I can't speak from personal experience of traveling Thamarassery Churam or a similar road with a Tata Punch EV, I can share some general insights.
      In terms of hill performance, electric vehicles like the Tata Punch typically fare well due to their instant torque delivery from the electric motors. This makes them capable climbers, offering smooth acceleration even on steep inclines.
      Regarding mileage and range consumption during uphill climbs, it can vary based on factors such as driving habits, road conditions, and vehicle load. However, EV manufacturers usually provide estimates based on standardized testing procedures.
      For precise details about the Tata Punch EV's performance on Thamarassery Churam or similar roads, I recommend consulting the vehicle's specifications and possibly reaching out to other Tata Punch EV owners who have firsthand experience driving on similar routes. They may offer valuable insights into real-world performance in such conditions.

    I felt really sad .. charging time is killing your valuable time, which you can never buy. Rerouting for finding a working charger is painful.. charging at a secluded location and especially during the night is threatening. I can't imagine traveling with my wife and kids this way.. evs are good for city commute. Charging at someone's house, even if it's your relative, creates uneasiness for that person because he has to pay for your travel ,, just incase if your phone is out of data or service also screw up your experience. Taking too much time for long-distance travel for evs because of frequent charging and also it is next to impossible to get claimed mileage. A mileage of 550 km in real life will certainly help evs to thrive in the market. Most of the evs only give 150 km to 100kms less than claimed mileage, which is bothersome for many. And if you accelerate like a petrol car that mileage can drop even more badly .. if you travel long distance more than 1000kms on express way you can put it in eco and drive slow 🐌 thats gonna hurt badly.

    • @SAJITHSAJEEV
      @SAJITHSAJEEV  4 месяца назад +1

      I understand your concerns about the challenges of owning an electric vehicle (EV), especially regarding charging time and finding working chargers. However, advancements in charging infrastructure and safety measures are continuously improving. Open communication can ease any uneasiness about charging at someone's house, and while achieving claimed mileage can be challenging, ongoing improvements in battery technology and efficiency are being made. Despite these challenges, the benefits of lower operating costs, reduced environmental impact, and the joy of driving a clean vehicle make EVs a compelling choice. With ongoing advancements, the overall EV ownership experience is likely to become even more seamless in the future.

      Thank you for sharing your perspective. While I appreciate your opinion, I respectfully disagree. As a Tata EV user, I'm quite satisfied with my experience, including the service provided by Tata Motors. While I acknowledge there's room for improvement, I find the build quality of the Tata Punch EV commendable. Comparing it to Chinese quality is, in my view, a compliment, as Chinese cars often boast impressive quality standards, sometimes even surpassing those of Tesla or Audi e-tron.
