    Well I stay the most time inside the car not outside looking at it, and inside looks great, also if I own the car, I want as much usable space I can get which you can not get out of the hash back looking SUVs. Besides the rear appearance is subjective. I forgot, I'm happy to report the US model does have a spare tire underneath, however the Hybrid is not yet available. Hope the hybrid also has the tire, but I can't think why it would not.

    I'm most interested in the emotion edynamic etraction, these are great innovation to make the car smoother, safer, especially for 3 rows, I really like hybrid tech in general, I drive an older 1.6t hybrid on 95 unleaded and my total is 17plus kmpl, day to day I get about 18kmpl per pump, if the battery is charged up to 3 bars it can run up to 10 plus minutes before engine kicks up at around 1 bar, and go another 5 minutes before it kicks up again.

As for the infotainment update, this Santa Fe comes with ccNC, the tech that will allow the system to be updated OTA; Over-the-Air, so if there is a release, you will get the latest one automatically. The prompt will show up after you turn off the car after a drive or should be found on the smartphone app.

    It looks fine. If you want a sexy car, buy a Porsche. I’m interested in the hybrid since ev infrastructure sucks in the US. We have an ioniq 5 right now and had a model 3, but the infrastructure is very bad. That’s the main reason a hybrid looks like a good alternative right now.

      @CarSceneKorea  7 месяцев назад

      I can only imagine for a big country like the US, the charging facility and driving range is crucial. Here in Korea, so long as you have a charger at home - which often is the toughest thing to get actually - you're set.

    Yes the rear is a little weird but what a beautiful car was planning on buying a palisade but change my mind with all 2024 Santa Fe hybrid has to offer which the palisade had one this year can’t wait till March to buy one. One question . I known the tow capacity is 2000lbs but my question how much dead it can handle. Need to travel with a power chair and ramp on back total weight is 425 can it handle that. Is the suspension auto adjusting or is that too much weight for the car? I don’t want it to drag in the back. Hope you could help me. Thank you very much love your channel. I watch all of them. Thank you.

    • @CarSceneKorea
      @CarSceneKorea  7 месяцев назад

      Thanks for the support! Sorry I cannot give you a precise answer to the question, towing isn't really big in Korea so not many care hence barely any info about that. Also, it seems that Hyundai does bring XRT and different trims for the US market, so the tow capacity "could be" different for the US market. The numbers I've got is also from the US rep, not Korean source. Speaking of which, you'd be better off asking the local Hyundai dealership for the precise info.

    How is the steering wheel feel. I find many suvs, like Toyota, are to light and loose on the steering wheel feel. I know it's not a sports car but some suvs have a more sporty or tougher or heavy feel to the steering. Where does this one sit on the spectrum?

    Bairly 40 Seconds into this video and I'm calling B.S.
    You talk about seating configurations and say your Calligraphy has 6 seats, and that the All New Santa Fe will be available in three seat configurations .
    EVERY bit of info I have seen says there is NO FIVE SEAT Santa Fe, as I want ! I live in the U.S. If there is ANY WAY to get a Five Seat that has NO THIRD ROW OF SEATS in the U.S. I can't find it !
    Please Tell me how to get a FIVE SEAT New Santa Fe Hybrid. I'm interested in either the Limited, or Calligraphy , I don't know if I can afford the Calligraphy, equipped like my 2022 Limited Hybrid which was the top of the line in 22.

      I review cars based on Korean spec, hence the reason why my videos are a few months to half a year early than reviewers around the globe. Sorry the US doesn't offer 5 seater, just because the channel is ran in English, doesn't mean I speak for the US or NA models only. NA is the largest market in the world yes, but Korean cars do get sold globally.

Would have been my fifth Hyundai, but due to lousy Dealerships and Horrendous Service centers, and things like their price structure change, not to mention all the advertisement ( not you) on what would be in the new Santa Fe that isn't except on the Calligraphy , as much as I like the New Style, I'm going to have to go to a different manufacture for my new Vehicle. Sorry Hyundai, you did it to yourselves !

      Copy + pasting my comment from a similar comment that told me about the transmission failure:
      "Well, I had the same 8spd wet DCT on my Veloster N DCT for two full years no problem, which I tracked, gymkhana'd and pretty much everything you can do with it. Zero issue, never a light. No cars are perfect, cars do fail and that's the reason why they come with the warranty. 8 spd wet DCT is hands down one of my favorite transmissions from Hyundai. Cleary, it would suck real bad had that to happened to me, but what's to worry with 10 year + 100,000 miles warranty? Korea doesn't even get half of that 😭"

    Listen, if the back of the car had a swing-out tailgate with a tire on it, it wouldn't be very useful for regular families. To follow the rules and give the most cargo space, Hyundai had to move the tailgate struts all the way back and put the taillights lower. Have you ever seen a Mercedes-Benz G-Class without a spare tire on the back? It looks terrible. But people still buy them. I think people just get all worked up when something is new or different. They want everything to be or look the same.

    Insane how low the Cd is. 0.29 is one of the lowest numbers for such a boxy and practical SUV. The Tucson has a Cd of 0.33 and is smaller. Pretty smart design for this Santa Fe to make up for the added weight and size.

      Thanks for pointing that out! I did mention this a multiple times in previous videos, so just skipped through it, but designer and the team worked on 1/1000 of the digit to lower the Cd to maximum. The rear lip-like design on the rear bumper is also there for the Cd.

      You know what? It shouldn't... My 2022 Santa Fe Limited Hybrid did NOT come with a spare, just the dumb inflator kit. I asked the dealership to get a spare and install it for me , and they said they can't.
      REALLY ! After getting the Santa Fe home, the first thing I did was look up the info. on installing a spare. Guess what? The underside at the back has a place for the spare tire carrier, and tire. I cross referenced the part to a Kia carrier from the Sorento I think, found one bought it and it bolts right on to existing nut plates on my Santa Fe. I bought the spare and jack off of eBay. So I now have a fully ready, OEM like installed spare.
      Another Hyundai screw up, with no spare. They think the 40 lbs will take a point off their mileage calculations, and for that will leave you on the side of the road with a can of goo flat fixer and tiny pump. Doesn't work for anything but the smallest of punctures. Dumb, Dumb, Dumb.
