Mysore Pak is definitely everyone's favourite sweet. Thuppad ( Ghee ) Mysore Pak has so many shops in Namma Bengaluru. However, there are only few places which serve the best.
One such place is Sri Venkateshwara Sweet Meat Stall at Balepete which traditonaly prepare sweets manually without any Machinery.
Established in the year 1954 in Bangalore has traces of starting it 30 years prior to this at Chikkaballapur where the family hails from.
One of the best Mysore pak I have had in recent times!
They only have two branches in Bengaluru
One in Balepete - the oldest branch
And recently they opened at Malleshwara.
Other than Mysore Pak they prepare various variety of sweets , savouries , Chats , Badam Milk.

Guru Sweets not only worst the way they responding with customers was rude
The worst part is adding artificial colour. So sad knowing making mistakes.
It is a known fact that Mysore Pak was invented / created in Mysore Palace kitchen by Kakasura Madappa. His descendants now run Guru sweet meat stall in Mysore. This is the fact and this fact should have been acknowledged by the owner of Venkateshwara sweet meat stall.
Kempu colour haakidare.. absolutely not acceptable when you are paying close to 1000 rs a kilo. I will never buy from them again
Every thing is fine except the food color which emits cancer causing carcinogens in the food.
From Mysore here, yes the Mysore Pak was invented for the Sultan by Kakasura the cook, and presumably they are the Guru sweet Shop in Devraj Market, Mysore. This one looks very softer and equal to the one which is being sold in Chennai, by Shri Krishna sweets.
Pls be cautious before eating,this sweet has heavy ghree

This is My favourite Mysore pak…..since childhood…..
There is one branch in Jayanagar and one in Gandhi Bazaar. All are from the same family. Because of internal family feuds, they don't want to acknowledge the other branches.

What is the red colour due to? Do they add saffron to the mysuru Paak?
