You play this mission very differently from me. I just sit my fleet at the start of the mission, and as soon as an assimilator appears, I lower their shields with my Nebula class, and beam over a boarding party, after three of these little interchanges, all they send at you are spheres and cubes. I just use the blue beam to suck the cubes dry and to recrew the empty Borg ships. Having around 24 cubes protecting Spock's ship really makes everything after that a cake walk.
I have a confession. I never noticed the final campaign in the middle of the menu. I always thought it was weird it ended this way. Being that with the borg taking over earth. 😊
Actually, plenty of federation ships went missing in the gamma quadrant before the Odyssey but the Odyssey was the first time that starfleet went ohhsheett!
3:23 "Don't go through these Transwarp portals"- Boomer2k6, whilst misclicking and ordering the fleet into the Transwarp portal They only survived because the portal collapsed just before they went in :D
There IS a wormhole on this map in the bottom left corner that will spit you out in the top right corner, smack dab in the middle of a 'graveyard' of derelict Romulan ships. Only problem is, it collapses as you send ships through it. When I played this mission, I went that route and,the wormhole cut the Enterprise off from the rest of the fleet (go figure).
I was once attacked by borg nanites. But when the effect ended the bar with transporter and special abilities went and stayed in the middle of the screen, and a bit right. Now always when I play as Feds the bar is in the middle. :(

Don't know what to tell you then. I've played Armada II for 6 years, and the only time I ever lost a ship in a Cerulean nebula was when an enemy also had a ship in the nebula and used their transporters. I've also played some Instant Action games where there was one enemy left, and it was hiding in a cerulean nebula. Had to use a Steamrunner to destroy it.
The purple ones you can, not the blue ones. The good thing about the purple ones is that, although it screws your shields and sensors, no one on the outside can you see in them. The only way they can kill you is if they go after you into the purple nebula.
I just played Armada 2 and the blue ones don't hide you. Of if they did, the computers still saw me anyways. Maybe in Armada 1 they did, but I don't remember.
I'm not sure why Activision chose to put that name in the .odf file for the Galaxy-class, seeing as by this point in the canon, the Odyssey was long gone, and the Federation has never used the same name on the same class of ship twice (original Enterprise and Enterprise-A excluded). I honestly think the Galaxy-class was thrown in as an afterthought (because the Enterprise-D appears at the end, albeit non-playable), especially since you can't build it from the Advanced Shipyard as delivered.

@@Coolman13355 you can't build Galaxy's in instant action or multiplayer as delivered; the odf for the Advanced Shipyard has to be modified. I know because I did that on my install of the game.
Personally, I like the idea of an alliance between the Federation, Klingons, and Romulans. Its a shame the Klingons became bad guys again at the beginning of Star Trek Online. I can understand renegade faction, but dude the Klingons were AWESOME allies. And I like the idea of Romulans as allies too. Can't be enemies forever, ya know....well, maybe some enemies like the Borg (NOT inlcuding the Cooperative from Online, as they are good guys and liberated from the Collective) and Species 8472 could be enemies forever.

The Federation taking over BORG vessels!?
INCONCEIVABLE!!
I need to try this
I love how Picard casually takes command of Spock's escort after emerging from the temporal rift and no one has any objections.

@@Coolman13355 haha, cheers man. Yep im a big Bab 5 fan and a trekkie
Great game! Still play it often.

Pretty sure he also clicked just short as well.

Same thing happened to me, but they are all jammed in the top left of my screen. Can't build, can't do ANYTHING as the Federation.
Try pressing the ~ button

At 09:35, a Cube comes flying out of a Cerulean nebula.
I love how at 00:31 the Premonition just bounces off the Enterprise.
That proves that it was done in the engine...
I love the borg nanites. :3

You can hide in the blue ones, though.

Yeah, if the AI (or another player) has a ship in the Cerulean nebula too, they can see you. Pretty sure they say in the manual that it hides stuff.
Well, they were outside of the Nebula and still shot at my ships.
That was the first time I played it (should have mentioned that).
Be nice if we had access to the Premonition in STO
The Purple nebula screws your sensors so you can't see each other. The blue nebular screws your shields and weapons.

@@SirBroadsword oh, right. Still, exception rather than the rule.
Yeah, same with the blue ones.
Wasn't the Galaxy class U.S.S. Odyssey destroyed during the dominion war? I guess they built another one.
Yeah... I think the name is randomized. But, there was a second Odyssey launched during the Dominion War.
Maybe your ships were in a dead spot (between nebula portions).
No, the way the nebula was set up was that there were no dead spots.
Isn't having a Galaxy-Class starship named Odyssey a bit of a bad omen anyway? No Wonder in the original timeline, it and Spock were assimilated

They're not enemies in Online. Haven't been for a long while now.
Not using the shield disruptors?
yeah I noticed that, wonder why not
I love sending my Defiants over by the transwarp gates and dropping mines then flying off
Dude, if you go into the portal with a large enough fleet you can end the mission faster.
Never happened to me...
When the nanites infect my game, it gives me a virus!!!!!
@mgustafson10011419 In my opinion, it'd be a bit of a waste, considering you don't have a way to recrew.
I don't know then.
How do i make it easier to make fleets? as in you click 1 and get the ships in fleet 1 and fleet 2 and so on
Select the ships you want in the fleet and hit Ctrl+(Number). Then to select the fleet hit the (Number)
The borg are sometimes stupid
I think y'all are reading too much into it.
