- 2003 Polaris 600 Classic Touring Snowmobile. Repairing the Crankcase and water pump seals. The sled was sitting for a few years and the ethanol in the fuel destroyed the rubber components. It ran ok, but would not idle unless the choke was on half. It also bogged down in the low-midrange.
Gotta do the same thing to my wife’s sled before this season comes. Very informational, especially with the gasket kit part numbers. Great video!
Great job on diagnosis. My jetski may have a similar problem. Thank for the video!😊
great video
Such a shame that a beautiful sled like that and in great condition, needed seals already. I wonder if something else rather than ethanol fuel, caused it? Great job, btw! I recently sold two polaris sleds because they were sitting 10 years and had a feeling they'd need a similar overhaul.
you said sitting for 5 year? replace all engine seals
Ethanol did not cause the seals to fail, its called age
Us lowlifes drink the high life.
Polaris junk.
