    I am on board with all of this except for the vitamin C in a clear bottle and using a mist at the end. I own the ZIIP and it requires commitment but it does work. P50 is the most remarkable non prescription product I’ve ever used.

  • @marifaret
    @marifaret 7 лет назад +2

    I suffer from perioral dermatitis, any idea if I can use the P50 and the ZIIP on my skin (I have nordic, light skin, that is combo, and usually pretty clear, otherwise)? I already have the P50 in the medium strength, but I'm scared to use it in fear it may make my dermatitis flare up.. I also want to try the ZIIP, but Im scared, not knowing if it would be better for my skin, or worse.

      Perioral dermatitis is often fungal in origin- have you seen a dermatologist? Exfoliation like P50 or the ZIIP won't help your problem, it may make it worse

    Love these tips with Melanie and also the skincare 101 vid. I have a question about her serum C. I have melasma that I've been treating with hydroquinone and retinol plus IPL lasers but I'm concerned about long term use of hydroquinone. And the results haven't been that great. Been doing this off and on for years. So I was curious if the vitamin C serum, in addition to the other steps covered in Skincare 101, would be a good alternative. The problem is I used a serum C once before but it literally burned my skin and I needed to be on cortisone cream for a week afterwards. I'm wondering if Melanie's Serum C is milder or if I'm just not a good candidate for it and if not, could she offer some alternative suggestions. Thank you so much Violet. You are amazing and I always look forward to new videos from you.

      Hi, a bit delayed, but have you tried to use ziip on Electronic Tone treatment on your melasma? I do it couple of times a week and use acids - nothing else - works great! 👍

      MEREDITH LOGGINS it wont get rid of them but rejuvi flavonoid serum strengthens the capillary walls so they are less visable. Get on dermstore.

    Is that a needle at 06:04? Are you meant to inject the serum?

    • @luvsongsandmusic
      @luvsongsandmusic 6 лет назад +1

      I believe it has to do with keeping the serums as "clean" as possible. The thing with a lot of skincare we put on our face is that they have active ingredients that start breaking down when they are exposed to oxygen and the chemistry on our skin/fingers, which is basically how they work. But that also affects the quality and potency of the skincare as we get closer to finishing the bottle, so the syringes keeps things fresher, and more accurate like using a consistent 3 cc's of serum every day. It also helps to not circulate other skincare stuff into the serum that we've used before like toner and essence since that will break down the product too. She basically takes the serum out with a syringe, squeeze the serum onto her hands before rubbing it together and patting it onto her face (or however she applies serum haha). I think it's a really smart way to use product =)
      Hope that clears things up =)
      There's another video on this channel that kind of shows how she uses her products and does layering if that may help. =)

      Yes, that's a syringe. No, do not attempt to inject the serum. Please see @luvsongsandmusic's response below.
