Skin Elixir recipe c/o CAP Beauty:
INGREDIENTS
1/4 tsp He Shou Wu
1 Tbsp coconut butter
1 Tbsp Tocos
1 cup steamed almond milk or water
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Warm up almond milk or water
2. Add He Shou Wu, tocos, and coconut butter to blender
3. Add heated milk (or water) to blender
4. Blend + enjoy!

this is what ive always said to ppl who ask why i dont wear foundation lol. i love watching violet bc i prefer the "natural" makeup look over the caked on, over done look that is so fucking popular right now
@@adelinewurzer4533 yeah same i rly hate how foundation feels when its on my face so i only use very minimal concealer on my blemishes and focus more on my bushy brows and long lashes

such a great idea! guys are starting to wear makeup more frequently, but most don't have any sort of image of what they're looking for (i.e. most guys aren't wearing drag or really bold makeup looks that most male makeup gurus sport). having a guy put on some glossier style makeup could do so much to normalize it

She's between medium and dark in your concealer range?! Lol, wow.
Flower T I am asian with a medium skintone (a bit like her and maybe darker) and the medium one looks WHITE on me. I tried the dark one this weekend and there is a huge gap. It looked too dark for concealer. Sooo, YUP.
Flower T they're are two darker shades- rich and deep. idk why it's called "medium"
its really hard to find a highlighting concealer for very pale skin so its good they have really light and really dark. There isn't many colours but at least they do have a wide range lol

They only have 5 shades and the difference between all of them is huge. The ‘dark’ isn’t the darkest though, despite its name. There’s another one after it.

It would great to have the recipe for the "skin elixir" she drank in the video. Also, I love the look of Glossier's videos. But in this one, the white subtitles get drowned out by the light in her apartment making it difficult to read which products she used.
Those are my only quibbles. Other than that, I love this series and can't wait to see more!

girl there's already so damn many brands of makeup that are marketed towards people with skin problems and that offer full coverage cake face that ur looking for. let us natural girls have fucking something in a world where clown makeup is so popular

Glossier's products are pretty but don't last on my oily skin. That's not their fault- they weren't advertised as long wearing and obviously have a dewy finish. Since my sister had them I thought I'd give them a try. I hope they make a matte skin tint or powder blush in the future.
MissOyin have you tried their concealer? My skin is so oily that I hate putting too many products, but the concealer seems so low maintenance thought I might give it a try...?

How is their blush creme? Does it last all day or about to lunch?
calyope1990 the concealer is quite emollient so it didn't last well on me. Blended like a dream though.
Michele Savinsky The blush lasts about 4 hours before fading but I have dark/oily skin. I really like "setting" their blush lightly with a powder blush- that lasts all day. I'm enjoying the colors but I'll likely not repurchase due to the fading.
