I discovered your channel a month ago when I started planning my trip to Thailand and Vietnam this August. Glad to see you're in the Philippines now. The country where I grew up. Enjoy your stay! Cheers from Italy!
I can't wait to get back and I'm hoping to retire in the Philippines in the near future. It's such a beautiful place with the friendliest people on the planet.
Same as the guy from scotland, he asked you're filipinos. I said yeah. He said hes been to Philippines three times. He said next time he comes back, its a one way ticket. I said good luck, its a good place to retire.
Your videos are just getting better and better! The editing, the footage, the music and the way you're presenting the content. I've spent a lot of time in the Philippines for work, personal life (my partner is Filipino), charities etc. I hope you love it as much as I do. Thanks for your great content.
Hi guys…. My wife and I love your videos ( I’m Aussie, she’s a Filipina). My favourite island is Siquijor…it’s very beautiful and very slow paced, not very touristy at all. Great if you love diving and a really great place to to not do much other than soak in the island lifestyle. Siargao is also a beautiful island it reminds me of Bali 30 years ago ( I’m old 😀). It was hit by a typhoon at the beginning of the year but has just about completely recovered ( I’m sure they’d love tourists to come back)…I definitely wouldnt miss visiting this place, it’s fantastic. Boracay is another nice place but quite touristy last time I was there. Some other lesser known islands that are beautiful = Camiguin, Samal, Bantayan ( all recommended). How good are the Filipino people, so happy and friendly! Enjoy your time there. KT
100% agreed to that.. Siquijor very beautiful underrated island. Siargao was my favorite island in the Philippines before the typhoon, hopefully they will recover to 100% soon.
Hi Guys!! Love yours videos!! I have been in the Philippines 3 times, including a 8 months stay in Siargao Island of 8 months during the pandemic .. Here is my recomendation!! Siquijor, Bohol, Cebu, Coron, Palawan , there ae plenty of islands to visit in the Philipines , Good Luck !! Enjoy!!!
Since you are in El Nido, try visiting Coron too. Then go back to Palawan as there are a lot of beaches there. You should never miss those places. Then go to Boracay, Cebu, Bohol, etc.
My wife is a Filipina, we currently live in Canada, thinking of moving to the Philippines, El Nido is at the top of our list, at least a place to start out after moving

Whenever a foreign vlogger, new to Philippines, asks for suggestions for places to go in the Philippines, it just makes me laugh a little bit because of 3 things; FIRST is, you really don't have to ask, and you'll know why when you read your comments. But since you asked for it, get ready because there'll be a lot, and they may keep on coming for even after a year. SECOND is because, when you do start traveling the Philippines, you will also start to realize that asking for suggestions for the entire Phl. is ridiculous, unless you have so much time. THIRD is, you have no idea that a single province, or municipality or district, or town in Philippines can have a lot of hidden gems, unseen on tv or youtube, and sometimes even unknown to some of the very locals. You may think that I could just be exaggerating, maybe I am, but you can find that out by yourselves when you start traveling and exploring. What I would recommend though is that you ask for suggestions for what places to go see or visit, or the things you can do ONLY in the province or city or district or somewhere close by where you are at currently, then do the same on the next province you want to explore, or better yet, ask in the local barangay offices, and you might even get the best tour guide.
I agree u have the most sensible and intelligent comment here it makes no sense asking as u will get so many different answers just go there and work your way around and do what the locals do. So many kanos here suggested this and that they have no clue. Also I don’t like pinoybaiters which most puti kanos vloggers are doing just to make a quick buck on their Adsense. I agree with you too. When you ask recommendations especially foods many will suggest almost the same answers and I’m a filipina and it really annoys me seeing and reading the same comments. A few countries in the region can offer similar amazing sights, beaches, weather, cities, and FOOD! But the one thing the Philippines has over all of them is virtually no language barrier. Most everything is in English, it's taught in the schools and there are 100's of Filipino dialects, the most prominent are Tagalog, Illocano and Visayan. But all of them will be sure to know some or fluent English. Friendly, helpful and talkative people, and not camera shy! Wish you were there during the good weather months....this is the rainy season lol
Try to go to city of Cebu where you can do a lot of adventurous things like canyoneering, swimming with millions of sardines and big sea turtles, swimming with the whale sharks, good food etc. So much to see. A lot of vloggers go here. If you like the mountain areas go to Baguio City. It's a mountain city where you will see the rice terraces . Always a cool area. Fresh abundance of fruits and vegetables. Siargao Island is where most of the foreigners settled because of the surfing areas.

The Philippines imho is the most beautiful country in Asia and the most diverse. From the countless stunning beaches to the verdant, picturesque countrysides to the bustling modern cities but you know what, I’d say the people are best kept treasure- the friendliest, the fun-loving, the most accommodating and welcoming. They are always happy and smiling despite of the adversity and problems they face everyday. They will go out of their way to help you if you need it. I’m coming to the Philippines once I finished my studies and I’ll be vlogging instead lol Great decision; you guys!
I love ❣️ Philippines I miss Philippines, people are always smiling and freindly, they like help people when they asked for directions, get lost because first time to visit Philippines, compared here in USA they just ignored you and moved on that's all I have to say....

G'day Lloyd and Mandy....great to see that you've arrived in the Philippines safe and sound. Unfortunately I know I'll never visit the Philippines let alone El Nido, but it certainly looks like an ideal place to unwind after your hectic schedule over the past months. Enjoy your time there...Cheers Gaz(WA)😎 PS over the next few days I'll check out your Philippine's Escape Society Podcast...
The Philippines looks amazing, I've never been there. This video makes me want to visit the Philippines. I always go to Bali and use that as my base location and travel to other SE Asia countries, but it gets more expensive every visit due to Bali being an Island. I often thought of taking less luggage and just becoming nomadic for a while. I like what you two are doing, just free flow like the water.
welcome to the Philippines, just subscribed !! Dont leave El Nido without doing an island tour, its a must see, so beautiful and stunning islands and lagoons. Make sure you choose a sunny day for it. Also check out Nacpan beach as well as Duli beach , gorgeous beaches on El Nido!!!
Try to make an assessment of a place after sometime there. All of expats that relocated out of Philippines never feel safe leaving the valuable belongings in the hotels or their houses compared to other countries in Asia. Have fun and stay safe.

While in El Nido, take advantage of the landscape views guys, do the Canopy Walk, and take a hike up the limestone cliffs with a guide to a rewarding view of the neighboring islands as well, also go to Las Cabanas for the best Sunsets, also take a day trip via scooter to Nacpan Beach ( 25 mins from El Nido ) the best 4 kilometer long pure white beach you will ever see, if you want to stay overnight, there is "Glamping" ( glamorous camping ) available. Also go to Balabac Island, and a tiny beach town of Port Barton. Enjoy!

Hello first time subscriber on your channel. I would suggest that you try first other islands like maybe siargao? Before making your final decision on where to permanently stay.
I’m a supporter of your channel, and you guys are awesome, so please don’t think I’m attacking you…I’m not. But that being said: click-baity titles aren’t your style. You haven’t ‘moved’ to Philippines…it’s another country you are visiting. Please don’t cheapen your ethics for hits, views or likes. Saying something like ‘We’ve moved ON to The Philippines” would be more truthful…and suit more of your vibe. Keep up the good work, otherwise…and man, that place is stunning! I love your channel. Signed, a fellow Canadian travel junkie.
Please don't follow the trend of 90% of digital nomads with the click bait.. guessing coming up with new ideas is tough yet the click bait will have viewers leave . Not trying to be offensive just my opinion. So many travel vloggers run out of creative contact. Maybe try and keep it a bit different. Check out " lost boys" based out of indo. They are doing it right and killing the niche. Enjoy Phillipines
@@LuvMyLilBabe really? Caring about the content of a channel I respect and enjoy makes me a Karen? I’m guessing the way of thinking is that, by having us even posting and TALKING about the issue of the false title, they are creating traffic, and comments etc. But that will eventually backfire on them. I just left Cash Jordan’s NYC apartment channel after years of loyalty cause he is pulling the same bullshit. One of the things I like about Mandy+ Lloyd’s channel is their maturity and grace. And that they are factually and not over-dramatic. Once they start using ‘tricks’ of kid vloggers, I’m gone. Which means means one less sub, and many less LIKES and comments. And I suspect others will follow suit. Love Always Karen

Llyod & Mandy ! Lechon Baboy (BBQ Pork) is great and make sure to ask for the CRISPY Bark of the skin. It taste so good and crackles in your mouth. The best Lechon Baboy comes from Car Car in Cebu. There's even Lechon Manok (Chicken). Next is Grilled Bangus Fish. But, make sure it's boneless. Grilled Tuna Steaks is also great. Try the different Filipino dishes and Carendarias ( Canteens ), where they display many dishes and you can choose what you want and pay for it individually or maybe they will have a combo of 3 items, plus Rice. Pancit (Noodles) is also a very popular dish with Pork & veggies. Chicken & Pork Adobo is popular, Fish Soup is also tangy and good, Kari Kari (A Brown Beef or Pork Stew with Veggies) is also good etc. They also give you Vinegar mxed with Soy sauce and Chilis. Have a sip of TUBA, their local Brew made from Fermented Coconut water. Coconut water to quench your thirst s great on hot days and it has natural Electrolytes that your body needs. Food is very inexpensive in the small cities of Provinces and Islands. People are very friendly. But, always be carefful about your personal stuff, Cameras, Money etc, especially in big cities like Manila and Cebu. Enjoy your trip. Cheers from Ohio!

I'll get to Philippines one day and swim with the Whale Sharks is Oslob (Cebu)
Can't wait for the next vid

Don’t pinoybait is my suggestion coming from a kababayan
The Philippines imho is the most beautiful country in Asia and the most diverse. From the countless stunning beaches to the verdant, picturesque countrysides to the bustling modern cities but you know what, I’d say the people are best kept treasure- the friendliest, the fun-loving, the most accommodating and welcoming. They are always happy and smiling despite of the adversity and problems they face everyday. They will go out of their way to help you if you need it. I’m coming to the Philippines once I finished my studies and I’ll be vlogging instead lol
Great decision; you guys!
Oh haha not a bad idea people here love vloggers hope you find a great content so people would follow u aside from traveling. Good luck.
I love ❣️ Philippines I miss Philippines, people are always smiling and freindly, they like help people when they asked for directions, get lost because first time to visit Philippines, compared here in USA they just ignored you and moved on that's all I have to say....
Enjoy life here in the Philippines!
Thanks, guys! Can’t wait!
Philippines is magic.
Looks like such a great place. Beautiful jungle vibes. Yummy looking good. I want that pineapple!!

this is great for U2 and enjoying the Philippines and you are so beautiful to just be yourself..............thank you for everything U2do...........
I'm planning a trip there next February. El Nido, Coron and Cebu are the places I want to visit. I'm really looking forward to the Kawasan canyoneering in Badian, Cebu. El Nido and Coron may be the places I decide to retire at. So beautiful. Thanks for the vlog
This made me more even wanting to see El nido fast enough . You made it looks so nicer . Glad you love Philippines
G'day Lloyd and Mandy....great to see that you've arrived in the Philippines safe and sound. Unfortunately I know I'll never visit the Philippines let alone El Nido, but it certainly looks like an ideal place to unwind after your hectic schedule over the past months. Enjoy your time there...Cheers Gaz(WA)😎
PS over the next few days I'll check out your Philippine's Escape Society Podcast...
Hope to see you here in the near future. 🇵🇭
welcome to the Philippines, just subscribed !! Dont leave El Nido without doing an island tour, its a must see, so beautiful and stunning islands and lagoons. Make sure you choose a sunny day for it. Also check out Nacpan beach as well as Duli beach , gorgeous beaches on El Nido!!!
Hi Lloyd and mandy i like your video guys especially you promote about the country and the people also have a nice day guys and be safe always.enjoy….
Thanks so much
Enjoy your travel guys but there’s no place like home. Travel safe!
Try to make an assessment of a place after sometime there. All of expats that relocated out of Philippines never feel safe leaving the valuable belongings in the hotels or their houses compared to other countries in Asia. Have fun and stay safe.
Welcome to the Philippines! It’s More Fun In The Philippines! Enjoy.

You needed to clean the wax out of your ear, that's why he flushed it out. It was not an ear infection, clean out the wax a little more often.

Welcome to our beautiful country, I'm a new subscriber, stay safe and God bless always, watching from iligan city here in Mindanao, Phillipines
Enjoy!
Have fun guys!
Welcome to the Philippines! I hope you both have a good time. Make sure to try a mango, and to visit Cebu and Siargao too.

Mabuhay! welcome to the islands.
I hope you will have the best time in the Philippines. Enjoy your travels and stay safe!
RUclips channel Vagabond Awake recently posted some fairly affordable accommodations in El Nido. They actually showed quite a few places all around the Philippines and elsewhere.
Might be worth checking them out.
You two are always so positive and happy , thanks for the great videos 👍🏼
SIARGAO!! the best place for you guys! :D
Definitely need to visit Coron Islands. Absolutely stunning islands all around Coron Island. Visit Coron Lake a highlight for sure.😊
Hi guys from Tweed Heads..Siargao Is is my favourite..Best Place to eat in Manila is Hott Asia Bazzar in Makati. Corner of Makati Ave and General luna. I always stay Makati.
Finally, welcome to the Philippines guys! Enjoy your stay here.
Agreed.
Totally agreed. Click bait. You guys are better then that.
Enjoy Phillipines
watch out there's Karen everywhere 😂
Love Always
Karen
OMG Lloyd asked you if you farted lol...that's so funny. Love the way he just sutbley looks at you, like, ok honey thats not ideal 🤣

Hi guys, feel at home in PH, you are so welcome here. Don't worry about accommodation, its cheaper than any other country. Our 1 peso is like 50plus dollar? so enjoy your stay and pls consider our extreme country... there are clean and dirty areas, we have concrete jungle cities, we also have the slums, we have expensive and cheap products...choose... hope you enjoy the decisions you make.
Coron is the best for me! Thanks for sharing all this. I hope you guys enjoyed El Nido! I always think that travels are made easier when you have the best travel gears and essentials too. The bento bag from Nomad Lane is my best carry-on bag for dream vacation destination like this. Thought I'd share it to you guys too!
So many island to discover and for you to choose your favorite..the touristy part or less touristy and cheaper like port Barton near Palawan ..and each island has different beauty ..watching from France 🇫🇷✌🏻
Hello I'm new your Chanel enjoy explore a beautiful island and place in elnido Palawan and enjoy food trip pilipino is friendly and supported foriener vloger God bless stay safe
