    So basically with one of these newer autotune carb saws you could port the head and muffler and fire the saw right up without adjusting the carb and it'll do it automatically, *COOL*

    I have the 576xp autotune and love it. It's a real work horse, cuts like like a boss and pulls hard.
    I had a little problem with it not idling when it was new, changed fuel mix to 40-1 problem solved.

    If somebody neglects to clean an air filter to the point where the saw won't run, 9 out of 10 times the cooling fines are so packed with shit that the excess heat kills the top end anyways...

    • @socas_nic
      @socas_nic Год назад

      Yeah but someone who takes good care of their saw cannot change the air temperature, pressure humidity, precise air fuel mixture. That's why this system was introduced.

      Hi - it's Big Rodders in Ireland. I run a 555 with a 16 inch .325 bar. Fantastic saw with an aggressive performance, BUT it is an erratic starter even after dealer investigation. My old 365 stalwart unit with a 20 inch 3/8 bar is my go to saw for solid reliable operation every time. I dread the day when manually adjusted carbs are outlawed.

      You maybe have to recalibrate autotune. Start the saw, go into the wood with full power for around 2 minutes, then let the saw stand with the engine running for 2 minutes.

    I have a question. How does the newer Husqvarna 555 compare to the older 357XP? Looking for a new 60cc saws and I think the 555 might be a good choice. Thanks.

    • @fassay
      @fassay 6 лет назад

      I have the 555. Its a killer firewood saw w a 20" bar. I've never run the husqv pro saws. 555 is great value a semi pro saw 60cc w AT. Semi pro means split crank case but no stuffers or rev boost and I think smaller transfer port than the 562xp has. Big upgrade on the 60cc rancher plastic saws and a small step down from the 562xp. I bet my 555 with a sharp chain could go head to head with a 365....almost. Maybe. Get a 70 cc 365 or a 60cc 555. Darnit get both or a 372 before the 572 takes over.

    I absolutely love husky Chainsaw's but I recently sold my 562 XP 550 XP and I'm about to sell my T540 XP. Why you ask because I've had problems with all three my 562 had to be completely rebuilt because of a pin got loose in the piston. This is completely common with the saws I also had problems with it after it was rebuilt it never seem like it had good power not with the 20 inch bar and definitely not with a 28 inch bar which was recommended by Husky. My 550 XP was one of my favorite Saws extremely fast cutting saw and great wait to power ratio but it had the same problem and didn't want to start when it was hot. Now I am going to sell my t540 XP because after its ran for a while he doesn't want to restart when it's hot just like the other two I sold. All my other chainsaws I can work on myself those three all had computers and we're all a giant pain in the butt I learned a lot of tricks with them to get them to start but it was still not worth the hassle especially when they had to be put on the computer to tell me what was wrong with them. Just so you guys know I'm not being biased to husky steel computer Saws prob have the same problems. Just in case you think I didn't take care of my Salz I bought many many many extra air filters OEM gas filters I put Sugi hara bars on all three and probably had an average of 12 sharp chains per saw per bar size. And by the way all this hassle all this money spent for what because it's too hard to change and air filter if you asked me that is a completely stupid reason to buy a computer carburetor and just in case you think I'm wrong go on eBay and see how many of the stalls are for sale lots of people are sick of it I hope they fix the problem I'm sure in the future they'll be great but the first two versions SUCKED!!!!!!!....

      Well, there is no point argue with you on this, I guess there could be monday examples as well as the system may not fit everyone. Worth notice however is that the AutoTune in the 572XP above is a new version, 10 times faster than the older AutoTune. We missed to inform about that.

    • @timgile8144
      @timgile8144 7 лет назад +4

      You have to take it to a dealer to have carb tuned. No longer can you do it on the fly. Without the firmware and a computer it can not be tuned. If a guy does regular maintenance dirty filters are not an issue.

      I an unaware on the pricelevel in America, but in Denmark, repairservice is expensive. I had a ms261cm from Stihl. I ran great, but one day the M-tronic went abeshit on me and it just ran with max RPM constantly. the cost of repair was as expensive as a new saw. I went back to the old school models and now i have a Jonsered 2152 and a 2171 Ulticor models. The fact that i cant repair it my self, is a no-go for me. It´s good for the service industry, but very bad for my bankacount..
