- Did some passes with the newly built heads and cam!! roasted through third so I had to switch up tires... unfortunately they don't fit. Looks like i'm going to have to cut some of my sideskirt! Next up- DRAG STRIP!!!

What is Ecrew? When I had to uproot and move to Indiana, there was a car community called Bcrew (B for Bloomington, Indiana). These guys became my family. Instead of partying on the weekends, I was working on cars- and I loved it. Since starting youtube, I have started what I call Ecrew. It's not supposed to be some childish "Logang squad." Started watching your channel a few weeks ago and have enjoyed it a lot, I wish you would get serious about your safety, you are in cars that have big horsepower and high pressure fuel systems, you lack racing gloves, neck brace, firesuit, racing shoes, your seatbelts are to loose, you should not be moving in the seat, if you hit a wall you would be seriously hurt with loose belts and no neck protection, with your helmet visor open and no glasses (sun,safety,) fluids can get right in your eyes, if a fuel line let loose you would have 50psi of fuel spraying every where, without gloves you would never make it out of the car, I raced NASCAR stock cars (local short tracks) 8 years and was a crew member on a NASCAR team for 10 years, I would never go out on a track without all my safety equipment, you have a great following and I am sure a role model for up and coming young ladies, I would hate to see you injured or scarred from a racing accident, its not if it ever happens its when it will happen, I am sure there is a sponsor out there that will outfit you ! Patrick McCrime Dog I have seen three people die at race tracks, Two were from stuck throttle’s, one was just a lazy wall hit that you would’ve thought anybody could’ve walked away from, it was in practice not racing, If you want to be a professional Driver you need to act like it all the time, And like I said it’s not IF the crash is going to happen it’s WHEN, And you better be prepared for it

It's not cutting or trimming it's called messaging lol I think if you take the body kit off I think them wheels and tires would fit perfect if you could fit a 15" wheel over your brake calipers and rotors in my opinion would be a better fit plus you could get more tire under it that way too.....once you go through the bottom end what kind of power adder are you going with? I think you should do procharger not many people do procharger they either go turbo or nitrous
Btw you got a new sub with me there is nothing I find sexier in this world than a pretty lady drag racing and even better a pretty lady drag racing in something Chevy powered

That motor sounds so strong! It's got an insanely smooth exhaust note at mid and higher RPM and that always speaks of longevity!!!!😎 Absolutely rockin!!
With the slicks you could have height adjusting rear shocks and roll the fender wells out for more clearance just giving you my input on the situation with clearance in the rear

The power is right on for a heads cam LS1. Mine has 420rwhp on a Mustang dyno. LS3 you could expect closer to 500 at the wheels. LS are also known to have a loud valve-train. It’s perfectly fine.

If you want true dyno numbers, you're gonna have to do an axle-dyno, and that might be hard to find, so for what it's worth that conservative 400-some is good enough for what it's worth
edit: if it's the valve guides you shouldn't be seeing it on just the deceleration if I remember correctly, but you can pretty easily test if it's them with a smoker and taking off the rocker covers, sort of testing like a reverse compression-test, only you're forcing smoke in through the intake manifold and if they're jenk you'll start to see smoke come out or at least bubbling between the valves and their guides
edit edit: wait... did you use assembly lube when you were doing the upgrades to the engine? If so, lol it might have been the assembly lube burning off and not necessarily oil xD
Blue smoke on decel is from excessive oil/vacuum in the top of head a good vented catch can should fix that. I had a 66 Fairlane 500 in high school with a 400hp(at the crank) 351W I ended up welding in bungs and running my PCV off both valve covers to the headers
There's not a problem you can't fix and your car sounds like a beast!!

Every-time you do a refresh and up-grades to a Engine your A Happy parent all over again and again.
Looks like a huge improvement from this end .almost a full on race car now

I think if you want to have grip on the quarter mile I would use sticky small tire slicks and use vp when doing a burnout to have more traction so you don’t lose grip on the strip
My ocd is on overdrive. The steering wheel is not clocked right and that horn button needs to be put in.

Big cam ls valvetrain noise is terrible. I can hear mine echo of curbs and other cars. You might want to look at putting a different gear in the rear. Seems super short.

My s14 hates a 28” Tire. I had to run the rear end raised super hard. I know you just bought those but if you can get something in a 26” you’ll be a lot better off. In drag side wall is much more important then width. Also something in a bias ply is key in drag. Love the car though. Cam lope motivating me to put my heads on this weekend.

Do little roll of lip an some Dremel on the skirts. Should be able to so short burn out an not have tire growth rip skirts off.
It will help also if you can find some 10 inch wide wheels or so to help stretch tire out more.

Don't forget that the Hoosiers are going to swell with speed as well. They will get thinner but will get taller as well.
