Just subscribed. Recently found your channel a few days ago. Will you continue using the humic acid? I'm going to throw down my first application this weekend.
Where do you live and what grass seed did you apply please? What’s the status on more humic acid and was it 6% or 12% humic? How often did you apply for the entire season?
I live in Connecticut and the grass is turf type tall fescue by greenview. I applied humic acid once about every 2 weeks for the whole season its was 12%. I will continue to apply humic acid to my lawn it worked wonders. Thank you for your support I hope this helped
Great job with the Humic Acid. This year, I upped my lawn game as well by using HA but I went with the powder concentrate. I bought a 90% HA two-pound bag and adding water yields 128 ounces for $25! Instead of using a water sprayer like yours, I use a two-gallon pump sprayer and apply it as a foliar spray (directly on the grass). I have 2,500 square feet in front and 2,500 square feet in back so economically this is a fantastic process. And of course, I have the best looking lawn on the block.
Thanks bro. It definitely does look alot better than a month ago just needed time to finish filling in. We have weird weather in Connecticut it takes alittle longer to actually get warm weather going here. Everyone keep saying try kelp I may look into it.
Nice, nice! A small bit of kelp will help with the roots to get nice and tough. If you use the humic after you mulch cut or micro fertilize it helps to chelate the nutrients. What you will see with stand alone applications of humic is some dark amended soil in a year plus. You will also see an abundance of worm activity, take a shovel to a random spot in the yard next Spring and do one now. Compare👍 you will notice a huge difference just in that time. Be well✌️
Sorry for late response. I'm definitely going to try Kelp alot of people been recommending it. Especially if it helps build stronger roots. Thank you and be safe as well 👍👍

Love your videos, been binge watching and now I realize that you started that lawn from scratch and look at it now, its just amazing. I will start using humic acid as well and see how much that improves my soil, but here's a question, how often do you apply it? once every two or three weeks during the season? I mentioned this in another video but I saw this video from a guy in Utah who put down humic acid on his lawn, his soil was clay and in that video he dug down a section of his lawn and about 10 inches deep the soil looked great with the clay finally showing up at that 10 inch mark. He said he wasn't sure if it was because of the humic acid and if regular fertilization had anything to do with it but I think the humic must have played a big role in that guys soil improving.
Thanks bro. Yea this lawn definitely came a long way lol it was rough at first. Yes you're correct I'm applying the humic acid every 2 to 3 weeks. I'm trying to see if the humic acid could really improve my soil because my soil definitely need it lol. Only time will tell 👍
@@LawnAmateur mine too, any lack of rain the soil gets hard as a rock, especially during the summer and then the grass goes into dormancy. Yard looks great! Also, try liquid Kelp for heat stress. Kelp along with Humic Acid really helps with summer heat stress on your lawn. I learned this from Silver Cymbal's channel "ruclips.net/video/-tsfC4FkNoQ/видео.html". This is the brand I use, Liquid Kelp Organic Seaweed Extract 1 Gallon Fertilizer Concentrate from amazon. Oh kelp really stinks but it helps.
Nice lawn. As long as you have sun, TTTF will thrive, so yeah get those trees pruned. Subscribed... I don't know if you made your sprinkler yet, but consider making one using a Hunter spray head and pvc, similar to what this guy made in the video below. You can make one, use a 5 gpm nozzle and do more than half your yard. Or, you can make 2 and run both at the same time. It's cheap to make and flexible (can change out the spray heads). Set them up at 90* and cover that entire yard. Put an inexpensive timer at the valve and you are good to go. I use these at my parents house and they throw really far. ruclips.net/video/zdK35zRAIto/видео.html

I am going to apply my first dose of Humic in the next few days. Your yard looks good, here in PNW weather so far as been strange and i had fungus disease to take care of - Enjoy The Mow
Thank you and yea that lawn disease is no joke it will creep up on you very quickly. 👍👍
What # number is the Ortho Sprayer set to?
I set it on 2oz
Is your lawn fescue? I use the same humor acid, and I also add their liquid sea kelp which helps with drought. Your lawn looks great!
Thank you and yea my lawn is turf type tall fescue.
Great job on the lawn! I looked at this product online. Does it tell the ratio for using a pump sprayer?
Thank you and it doesn't tell you the exact ratio for pump sprayers but it does tell you how many ounces to use per 1 gallon of water. I hope this helps 👍
Damn that looks real good
Thanks bro 👍👍
Is that kbg?
No, its turf type tall fescue. But it gets really green like a Kentucky bluegrass.
Wow it filled in and looks great! I’m also from CT too! New London county! What part are you from? Love your channel! Congrats on 1k!! 👋🤗
Thank you I appreciate your support. Yes it finally filled in. The lawn came a long way lol. I'm from Fairfield county.
Lawn looks fantastic! I remember when you started (from my music channel) and this is just amazing! Nice work man! 👍
Thank you, it took alot of hard work and dedication to get to this point but it was well worth it. And I'm still not finished thanks again for your support 👍👍
