Comparing Rodon last year to David Wells is completely absurd and genuinely an insane thing to say. He does look a lot better physically this year! he definitely lost weigth but thats 90% from yknow....being healthy, not injured, better mental state. Think thats pretty easy to empathize with, no? David Wells...christ dude....

Soto's triple may have been slightly on the cheapie side, but you gotta hand it to him. I don't know if he sniffed triple off the bat, but I was at the game, he crushed it down the line, everyone jumps up as the runs start crossing the plate, and I glance back to see where the ball is (about to be fielded) and somehow Soto's already 3/4 the way to 2nd and is clearly going for 3... I was shocked he was already that far. Dude was hustling.
Going into the season, I was much more concerned about a bounce back season for Stanton than I was for Rizzo. Now I feel a bit concerned about Rizzo's bat and glove. Truly hope I'm just being dramatic and he turns things around
I can always tell how sophisticated of an mlb fan someone is by how angry they get about Torres. If you think he sucks or is a detriment to the team you don’t understand how baseball value is evaluated.

certain stadiums make losses/wins feel so much worse. Tropicana is the king of them all, Angel Stadium is the other. This place has been cursed for us and the bad luck was obscene. Also they're all late games and that makes it even more annoying Hamilton was very promising, first outing being back thrown into that I was content and dont mind the walk. He is very trusted when on his game
