      Your truckercalculator app needs to expand to other small businesses. I'm sure Uber and Lyft drivers could use something similar. Also I know AirBnB owners that could really use something like that too.

It's about not talking until you've learned what you are talking about. The sort of RUclips business model countless others should take lessons from! :)

    In Fact, I pay close attention with genuine regard and interest in whatever limitted sponsorships you share in a manner that far exceeds the attention I give to that of Any other content producer on RUclips, because you Never compromise your Integrity, are Always Honest, and you certainly make sharing entertaining in every sense of the best possible ways, which includes clear, easy to understand, pleasantly presented, and complete information about the sponsor's product at hand.

    Always a lesson with Casey. One of the hardest things that Ive tried to teach other drivers is that it doesn't matter how many miles you drive. Its what you make per mile, not what you make after all your weekly or monthly miles. With a profession that is built on running numbers everyday, so many drivers cant or wont take the time to look at their profitability, or lack there of. You try and talk with them about it and get the standard ,"What does it matter, I have money in the bank every month?" *sigh*
    Thanks for the recomend for the trucker calculator, Casey! And also for the story about the O/O, AND for showing how you chain that axle up. I was wondering about that from the last few vids that you talked about it.

    • @southstreetbarbecue7875
      @southstreetbarbecue7875 10 месяцев назад +2

      I always tried to get drivers to understand that the company that promises big miles isn't paying big money. I never got brave enough to venture into the O/O business, and I wouldn't want to tackle that job for all the money in the world. I like just telling someone my truck needs to be fixed, or using someone else's credit card to get fuel, and not spending my time off working on the truck. It's all a tradeoff I guess, and now I've wandered far away from the original point. As usual.

    I clarify this since I usually comment on any nonsense, to help the dissemination of the channel thanks to the RUclips algorithm; As I understand it, the number of comments matters more than their content, and given that it is the only way I can support a channel that amuses me, entertains me, and even teaches me things that I may never put into practice, but who You know, here is my comment, my apologies for the choice of words (Google Translate), and greetings from Spain.

    I started doing YT videos over a decade ago. I quickly noticed that I’d spend 3 days editing a days worth of video from three cameras into a 15 minute video. I couldn’t understand how others were putting out 30 minute videos every week. I eventually walked away from it and focused on working rather than producing. I understand that editing has gotten faster today, but I still recognize how much it takes to do and always wondered if it would make sense to try and get YT profitable. Then I see people like MORR who went from a phone to an entire production studio and realize that I don’t want to get that far into it. It was nice to hear that you can now see how much time YT takes out of your work day. I wonder what that will change for you, but I do enjoy your content and information. Still bummed that I missed in Redmond at the Expo

Very light and easy to hook your two axle chains together eliminating having to use a binder. The little chain was about 6 inches in length. I'm wondering if the belt squeal you were hearing was from the belt being loose because the stop was in there. The old belt is probably still good, the tensioner just couldn't pull it tight due to the stop. Throw it in a box somewhere and keep it for a spare, unless it's worn from being loose.

    The old belt may have been OK considering the tensioner was not at full tension due to the tool still in place! assuming no cracks and such ...

    Just removing the installation tool would have cured your belt squeak, but you probably had some wear on the belt because it wasn’t adequately tensioned for who knows how long.

    Good video. Can’t believe they forgot the pin for the tensioner 🤦‍♂️ guess you can install the new one since you already bought it and keep the old one as a back up. Love that you’re staying busy with that new unit. 💪💪

    Most truck companies the exhaust treatment system cost them in buying the truck, maintenance and lost time. But for you its a money maker.

    Fortunately my non emissions 1995 has been on the hook twice in the 18 years I’ve owned it and yes I work every day. Broken piston and broken driveshaft on a steep hill with the wrong gears and a loaded tanker

    May I suggest to you a great idea, hire a US Veteran to work while you are YouTubing videos? Vets need a good boss like yourself to get going.

    So, being a small business operator, you'll have a tremendous annual amount of IRS deductions over many future years. Big numbers! Turbo Tax did all my calculations for my business. It didn't track the data truckcalculator provides.

    Nice thing about beeing a truck driver ( although here in europe it's a lot different than there) is being alone not arguing with colleagues or whoever. Not nice thing about beiing a truck driver is arguing with literally everybody else on the road who seems to not see you even if you're by far the biggest thing on the road and they cut you out each roundabout 😆
