Idk why people get so defensive when someone suggest Robin might be better than Ruan Mei on non break teams. It's a turn based gacha game, stronger options will someday appear. Robin will probably be powercrept to one day. Also Ruan Mei still has her niche which is Break and that niche will continue for a long time as we probably will get a 5* HMC replacement first and only after that I see RM being substituted. We can also just use RM in one side and Robin on another, even if Robin clears faster in general it won't make RM irrelevant.

Robin is simply the better one of the 2 whenever it comes to 0-cycle, thanks to her team wide 100% action advance. Her buffs are more accentuated for FuA mains, but everyone(DoT included) can benefit from it. Hell if they release more break units like boothill in the future that isn't as fast as firefly, they'll enjoy Robin's party-wide 100% action advance as well But where Ruan Mei excels then Robin is the fact that she's easier to play and manage while having a buff that's almost as good or universal as her's that every team archetype can benefit from it like Robin's and her performance is just as good if not just barely worse in 0-cycling. These 2 harmony are T0 characters together in their own right for all endgame content we've in the games tbh since FuA and break are dominating in all gamemodes.

i have e0s1 sparkle for my monoquantum, no regrets. i use my ruan for superbreak sushang/march/xueyi/himeko/etc, and robin for my yunli. different teams want different buffers, and flexibility is fun.
Ruan with Sig Sparkle with 160 WINDSET Robin with a fuckall 2pc 2pc and no sig still outdoing both. I have them all so i win anyways, but i'll probably go for e2 on robins rerun so i can run her as a dps with Jiao/Pela/Aven or Gallagher
I thought Robin clear will be similar to Sparkle because she's party wide buffer and Sparkle is single target buffer (single target buffer should be better than partywide buffer for hypercarry interm of buff). But I forgot how scary she is if she can get 100% ult uptime with RNG enemy hit luck and not to mention she also has personal dmg. 😅

Little rant about harmony characters: i love break and i used to main my e2 dhil so i got Ruan Mei (E1) and Sparkle for those teams. I still very much enjoy them. I skipped Robin because i really didn't like where fua was at the time (mainly cause i dislike Topaz) but now i cant wait to pull for Robin. I might try to go for eidolons too, she seems fun
yeah im on the same boat with you my main is Firefly (superbreak team) and DHIL. I skipped Robin cause i didnt really read her kit and thought she was only good on FuA team.. fastforward today and Robin is basically BiS for all hypercarry team including E2 DHIL
I feel like RM and Robin can have other utilities of usage in many team comps than Sparkle. Outside of FUA Teams Robin can still be viable with DoT teams, Regular Teams and Break Teams since her buffs are usually ATK increase Ruan Mei outside of Break, Regular Teams and DoT teams, she can help well with FUAs. Same explanation it buffs ATK but also break effect which breaking enemies is mostly gonna happen for Firefly and Boothill Meanwhile Sparkle is limited to DPSes that involves Crit so it’s only the FUA teams and Regular teams that benefit her similar with Bronya almost. It’s mainly that Break and DoT teams don’t need Crit
SW can be used in situations like vs Argenti or the new boss Hoolay where her implant can boost your damage by a large amount. Pela is the general best debuffer, Jiaoqiu is about the same as Pela.
@@literallyjiaoqiu Pela's DEF down adds up with Dr. Ratio signature's DEF ignore well so she's good, Jiaoqiu's dmg amp is a bit lower but he compensates for that with his superior debuff uptime/qol and a bit of personal damage.

I'm using 2 piece knights, dukes and salsotto with Gepards cone and I have more crit damage and defence than you (even more when the cone activates on hit) in this video but you are doing a shit ton more damage than mine is? Even without any buffs.
Pioneer is a pretty good increase over other options but the main difference here is his signature lc, the crit dmg on the build doesn't show the 40% he gets in battle, and the lc's 10% vulnerability directly increases his own damage and team damage by 10%

Tbh Robin is indeed better than Ruan Mei but there is not that much of a difference unless you're trying a fua attack based team. As someone who has all the limited harmony characters dont feel pressurized to pull for anyone because each one has their own niches

Idk why it’s hard to understand. RM is Jack of all trades master of none (well until break meta became a thing) essentially while Robin is the best for DoT/FUA. Sparkle/Bronya for hypercarry. RM woulda basically been outta commission if it wasn’t for break meta saving her relevance because if you had Robin/Sparkle there’s no real reason to use RM over them for any team that’s not a break one. So in terms of pull value, RM is better just because of sheer flexibility but if you main any team that’s not break then it’s an easy skip

As someone who doesn't have Robin on my FuA team, I (currently) don't have problems doing MoC. I've cleared it all with Dr.Ratio/Topaz/Sparkle/Aventurine (Only Aventurine has Signature Light cone). I know Robin is always better on FuA teams, and I intend to pull for her one day. But, I just liked Sparkle more than Robin, and I actually don't regret it. So if you want Sparkle, go for it.

Replace Dr Ratio with a Non Follow up and non SP hungry DPS and Ruan Mei would have 2 cycled, Bronya would have 3 cycled, Robin would have 3 cycled, and Sparkle would have taken 4-6 cycles depending on enemy CC.

Also saying that Bronya can do multiple things while Sparkle can't is really wierd considering how simmalar the kits are. I am going to explain why ruan mei is t0 and robin is t1. Don't come at me. The thing is, buffs do matters but most of the time how they are applied matters too. EXAMPLE. YUKONG HER BUFFS CAN RIVAL these three but has terrible uptime. Reason why I am saying this is because usually hypercarry team setups are set like this. Dmg dealer ___primary buffer (harmony that has action value manuplation eg. sparkle robin bronya)___secondary buffer(gives buff that dont saturate. Can be harmony or nihility_______ sustain. Sparkle and ruan mei were same , its just adventurine rng proc that killed kafka made sparkle run better. Ruan mei does not compete for primary buffer role on hypercarry setup. But she does for the secondary role. The thing is even as secondary buffer she is as strong as a character that has action value manuplation in them. It's just saying . Sparkle and ruan mei team is similar if u were to have two sparkle on your team. But without the disadvantages of having the speed fucked up. The thing is Robin sparkle can work but it requires ton of hard work. On the other hand robin ruan mei will work at the same level of power but without the extra efforts for speed tuning. That's why , she is tier 0. She is not primary buffer that has action value manuplation in her. But she is the secondary buffer who can pull the same weight as primary buffer. Not as strong as robin. She won't compete with robin in hypercarry teams. She won't compete with sparkle in hypercarry but rather she will be used alongside them.

Ruan mei is just better, %68 Damage increase, %10 speed and %25 RES pen way outscales %50 damage increase, %22 + 200 ATK Plus %100 action advance and %20 Crit damage. Its just basic math, you need more speed and more def shred + res pen for the harder content. Robin just doesnt give you that, the endgame bosses has lots of resistance and DEF. You might argue and say robin E1 gives her %24 RES pen, but at the end of the day, Ruan mei E1 gives %25 RES pen and %20 DEF ignore. DEF ignore increases your damage multiplier the closer you get it to %100. While action advance and attack increase is nice, Robin won't be your go-to for endgame content.
i cant tell if your trolling with that response because robin makes up for the res pen by doing damage for every allies attack. Robin is just better in every endgame content and theres no competition there. Outside of break teams ruan mei doesnt provide the same value compared to robin, 10% speed is only useful for teams with shit relics that cant hit 134 speed, theres barely a difference in the damage increase and Robin just straight out gives about 1000 flat attack to your team which is absolutely massive and 25% res pen while good Robin makes up for it by doing actual damage, 20k~ or so dmg coming out of robin for every ally attack eventually stacks up and the difference is a lot smaller in the actual cycle, paired up with her action advance for the whole team and she pulls out in every scenario in MOC/PF compared to ruan mei and at least a sidegrade in AS

But where Ruan Mei excels then Robin is the fact that she's easier to play and manage while having a buff that's almost as good or universal as her's that every team archetype can benefit from it like Robin's and her performance is just as good if not just barely worse in 0-cycling.
These 2 harmony are T0 characters together in their own right for all endgame content we've in the games tbh since FuA and break are dominating in all gamemodes.

i have e0s1 sparkle for my monoquantum, no regrets. i use my ruan for superbreak sushang/march/xueyi/himeko/etc, and robin for my yunli. different teams want different buffers, and flexibility is fun.

Meanwhile Sparkle is limited to DPSes that involves Crit so it’s only the FUA teams and Regular teams that benefit her similar with Bronya almost. It’s mainly that Break and DoT teams don’t need Crit

SW can be used in situations like vs Argenti or the new boss Hoolay where her implant can boost your damage by a large amount. Pela is the general best debuffer, Jiaoqiu is about the same as Pela.

I'm using 2 piece knights, dukes and salsotto with Gepards cone and I have more crit damage and defence than you (even more when the cone activates on hit) in this video but you are doing a shit ton more damage than mine is? Pioneer is a pretty good increase over other options but the main difference here is his signature lc, the crit dmg on the build doesn't show the 40% he gets in battle, and the lc's 10% vulnerability directly increases his own damage and team damage by 10%

Idk why it’s hard to understand. RM is Jack of all trades master of none (well until break meta became a thing) essentially while Robin is the best for DoT/FUA. Sparkle/Bronya for hypercarry. RM woulda basically been outta commission if it wasn’t for break meta saving her relevance because if you had Robin/Sparkle there’s no real reason to use RM over them for any team that’s not a break one. So in terms of pull value, RM is better just because of sheer flexibility but if you main any team that’s not break then it’s an easy skip

As someone who doesn't have Robin on my FuA team, I (currently) don't have problems doing MoC. I've cleared it all with Dr.Ratio/Topaz/Sparkle/Aventurine (Only Aventurine has Signature Light cone). I know Robin is always better on FuA teams, and I intend to pull for her one day. But, I just liked Sparkle more than Robin, and I actually don't regret it. So if you want Sparkle, go for it.

Every regular hypercarry outside of Blade best team dosen't even run Bronya anymore and instead Jade(Assuming you even use Blade who is defintly not meta at all)
The only hypercarry units who prefer Bronya over Sparkle are Jinglu and Blade. Also saying that Bronya can do multiple things while Sparkle can't is really wierd considering how simmalar the kits are. The only reason bronya is run over Sparkle is because JL and Boothil prefer one one of Bronyas buffs over Sparkles atk% and higher CD buffs

I am going to explain why ruan mei is t0 and robin is t1. Don't come at me.
The thing is, buffs do matters but most of the time how they are applied matters too. EXAMPLE. YUKONG HER BUFFS CAN RIVAL these three but has terrible uptime.
Reason why I am saying this is because usually hypercarry team setups are set like this.
Dmg dealer ___primary buffer (harmony that has action value manuplation eg. sparkle robin bronya)___secondary buffer(gives buff that dont saturate. Can be harmony or nihility_______ sustain.
Sparkle and ruan mei were same , its just adventurine rng proc that killed kafka made sparkle run better.
Ruan mei does not compete for primary buffer role on hypercarry setup.
But she does for the secondary role.
The thing is even as secondary buffer she is as strong as a character that has action value manuplation in them.
It's just saying .
Sparkle and ruan mei team is similar if u were to have two sparkle on your team. But without the disadvantages of having the speed fucked up.
The thing is Robin sparkle can work but it requires ton of hard work. On the other hand robin ruan mei will work at the same level of power but without the extra efforts for speed tuning.
That's why , she is tier 0.
She is not primary buffer that has action value manuplation in her.
But she is the secondary buffer who can pull the same weight as primary buffer. Not as strong as robin. She won't compete with robin in hypercarry teams. She won't compete with sparkle in hypercarry but rather she will be used alongside them.
Robin is bis in the majority of teams, whereas Ruan Mei is usually second bis in the secondary Harmony role. Explain to me how this possibly means that Robin is a tier below RM

With robin in hypercarry ruan mei will still be used there , except Energy demanding hypercarry. Where tingyun is used. In break teams no support buffs breaks as she does. No support buffs superbreak like she does. Mind u hmc is the superbreak enabler and the best buff to him is ruan Mei. She is basically,

Bis for break.
Bis for super break.
Bis for any hero in future that won't scale with atk , crit. But with hp or defence.

Where sparkle is used , if u want to use robin . U will have to replace sparkle with robin.
On the other hand where ruan mei is used . U don't replace robin with ruan mei but use her alongside.
T0 is about power but also about how much u can cover with that power.
Apocalyptic shadow is not hunt mode it is ruan mei mode.
Pf is a mode where both of them excels similarly.
In moc team it is flavour of the month.
But the thing is ruan mei fits in every flavour. And is usually bis or second bis.

Btw for Seele and Argenti, Sparkle is not bis. It's Bronya for Seele and Robin for Argenti, as long as you are capable of skill point management. Since QQ is mostly irrelevant to meta conversation, the only character Sparkle is bis for is DHIL - otherwise it's -1 Bronya for anyone vaguely capable of action forward.
I fully understand the concept of av Harmony units, no need to be patronising. However the initial point was Robin vs Ruan Mei where they compete for the secondary buffing slot, and this is where Robin pulls ahead. This is particularly so when comparing with Bronya as the secondary Harmony. I literally never even said you use Sparkle and Robin together. Ruan mei is just better, %68 Damage increase, %10 speed and %25 RES pen way outscales %50 damage increase, %22 + 200 ATK Plus %100 action advance and %20 Crit damage. Its just basic math, you need more speed and more def shred + res pen for the harder content. Robin just doesnt give you that, the endgame bosses has lots of resistance and DEF. You might argue and say robin E1 gives her %24 RES pen, but at the end of the day, Ruan mei E1 gives %25 RES pen and %20 DEF ignore. DEF ignore increases your damage multiplier the closer you get it to %100. While action advance and attack increase is nice, Robin won't be your go-to for endgame content.

i cant tell if your trolling with that response because robin makes up for the res pen by doing damage for every allies attack. Robin is just better in every endgame content and theres no competition there. Outside of break teams ruan mei doesnt provide the same value compared to robin, 10% speed is only useful for teams with shit relics that cant hit 134 speed, theres barely a difference in the damage increase and Robin just straight out gives about 1000 flat attack to your team which is absolutely massive and 25% res pen while good Robin makes up for it by doing actual damage, 20k~ or so dmg coming out of robin for every ally attack eventually stacks up and the difference is a lot smaller in the actual cycle, paired up with her action advance for the whole team and she pulls out in every scenario in MOC/PF compared to ruan mei and at least a sidegrade in AS
If Ruan Mei buffs are so much better at endgame content, then why does Robin has the fastest cycle clear out of all the harmonies according to Prydwen?

Being against a hypercarry buffer and a unit that was tailor made for fua and has a full party 100℅ advance forward, still clearing a cycle Or 2 slower than them despite not having any advance forward in her kit is really impressive for a 1.0 unit.
