Hello Viper. I would like to tell you a little about this MRE. The idea when creating it was simple - to create an MRE from dishes that a soldier usually eats at home. Therefore, it was decided not to clog it with a huge number of pastes and other canned goods, but simply put large portions of simple homemade dishes. For example, why are there 2 dishes for lunch, because traditionally in Ukraine it is customary to eat 2 dishes for lunch - soup and, for example, potatoes with meat. In this way, they tried to create a feeling of home comfort for the soldier. There are also enhanced versions of these MRE, they include chocolate, dried fruits, chewing gums and an additional portion of 200 g of stew for dinner. Before the war, these rations were about $ 6-7, I sometimes bought them for fishing, now I don’t know my conscience does not allow me to buy them. With best wishes, your subscriber from Ukraine!
I could tell these were made as a moral booster for the soldiers to remember home. Thanks for the info, all very appreciated. You're right, the price on these is the sky, easy $60+ US, but usually more. The fortified version, with the extras, is hard to find. TfW
Great review, you have a talent to make a very compact video, not boring and still with a lot of content. These rations don't contain a lot of fancy items, but the mains are quite tasty and huge. No other ration in the world has 500g soup and 350g main for one meal
Lol, thanks. I do like my vids to be on the more concise side. I don't have the attention span to watch most long videos so like to get to the point. I didn't know that... 850g is a ton for one meal.
That lunch was hearty. Full of great stuff. Couldn’t eat that dinner module after eating all of that in the same day haha. Great review as always man!!!

Hi Mr. P. breakfast was hands down the best of the 3 and I was surprised that the kasha wasn't the breakfast. Lunch was way too huge. I think that was the first time I have cherry jam as well. I think the raided #7 was plum jam.
HEY VIPER!! That ration is very simple but i bet very comforting and soothing to the palate, and your stomach aint gonna complain lol!! I really liked the video and review!!
They make a reinforced version that has some small snack items, but this one IS pretty simple. The sweet soup was the only item that wasn't for me, but I kept going back for more.
Interesting to see the ukranian ration. Simple..... but good for if you are in a situation were you have to eat and run. Nice review sir. Have a good one. 😊👋🏻👍🏻🇨🇦
Looks like the powers that be in the Ukraine military have gone towards familiar foods for their soldiers. They're not the only country to do so, and I bet it helps with morale. Looks a bit heavy on the Lunch by American standards, but that may be a cultural thing. Some cultures eat a big lunch and a lighter dinner, whereas we're the opposite here in the US. A big breakfast is a great way to get the carbs and proteins to start the day. Crackers seem to be stale world wide, especially when the rations well into its shelf life. Looks like a pretty hearty ration to me. I've never eaten any Ukrainian dishes (or much Eastern European food period for that matter, except for Kielbasa and cabbage), so I'm sure they have a different spice palette than I'm used to. Thanks for sharing the Ukrainian 24 MRE with your viewers.
Thanks for watching. Yes, lunch was huge compared to our normal. This was a fun one to check out. I still need to get to all the Russian rations that I have.
I missed this earlier Matt. Sorry. I had one of the old style Ukraine rations, still in the cans. It was good, but packages, did not include what was described. Welcome to the MRE world, LOL. Kasha is still high on the list I see. I always hated, Rye bread, and hot tea, until I started trying rations. I now love both! Lunch is HUGE. Sugar beets, make the soup , sweeter than most. Heavy lunch, means, light dinner. Great 24 Hr. ration sir. Glad you enjoyed. I look forward to part 2. Peace from Ky. John. Stay safe Brother.
Thanks JM, I like tea but was not much for rye bread either. Like you, I didnt get a taste for it until rations. The bread in this wasn't really good until you crumble it in the main to soften it up a bit. I wouldn't mind trying the canned version some day.
