Just have to say, I've only seen this one video of yours so far, but that was a superb tutorial. Even though I'm sure you could do this blindfolded, you still had the patience and understanding to show the most basic of details for us novices e.g. removing the window roller clip fully to show what piece we must look for when it flings off out onto our driveway lol. That takes some foresight. I don't have a group of car nut friends to teach me this stuff so I'm almost wholly reliant on manuals with grainy pictures, and youtube. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Thank you for the video and the Amazon links. Just FYI for the people who is going to do this, when you insert the tool behind the window handle make sure it’s between the window handle and the plastic clear piece. I was trying to pull the handle behind the plastic clear piece my bad lol
Do you always have to remove the door panel? In looking at my hanging broken mirror, it seems like the clip is accessible enough to make the connection without removing the door panel. Is that possible or is that just my wishful thinking...🤔☺️
I've had a couple people comment that you can do it with out remving the door panel, I suppose you can, but honestly to me its easier. id rather take a few extra steps than have to fight something the entire time.
@@BuildStuffwithAJ I followed your instructional video and it worked out smooth and easy! You won't believe how much headache it saved me from. I was side-swiped and it was their fault. BUT, my car is a 2006 Corolla and had some dinks already. If they had decided that repairing and re-painting that and other body damage in a repair shop had exceeded a very low ACV estimate it could've been totaled! Then, I'd been stuck having to buy another car! But by following your video and replacing the side mirror myself I kept the car street legal and able to pass inspection even if it has seen better days. I am retired so this really means a lot to me. Thank you sooo much!!!

My driver side mirror cover ripped off the motor mirror base with no damage to the base. Cover is held on with screws. Can I get just the cover piece not the entire Motor assembly?

I'm cant say for sure, but I would assume you would have to buy the whole mirror.
