Thanks very much for posting this. I've never seen this film until today - 64 years after my family was featured in the "beach sequence" filmed in February 1953 in Santa Monica. I was the 5 year old boy running and playing the beach. I remember the experience vividly. So grateful that the film has finally resurfaced - as I thought it had been lost forever. Apparently it was shown widely in public schools during the 50's and 60's. They did an excellent job of integrating the new black and white footage (circa 1953) with the archival footage. The color sequence at the end of the film was added in 1973.
