October is my favourite month for 2 reasons. NHL hockey starts and CROCKTOBER on RUclips. Oh I just wanted to bring to your attention RUclips has a glitch. Somehow it is age progressing the clips of your children. I haven't aged a day so I don't understand how Benny is so big now. He is just a baby and isn't even crawling yet!! He has to be. Or I am getting really stinking old at an exponential rate. Right???
For the fruit crumble, I often add dried fruits to the fresh fruit in the bottom. They absorb that excess liquid and taste amazing. Raisins, cranberries, tart cherries, and even dried blueberries work well. I also like to add some pecans or walnuts to the topping mix. Its also good with some vanilla icecream. YUM!
That curry chicken recipe with the salsa... I would have never thought of that. Sounds weird but I am definitely going to make this. My family likes the recipes that I've made of yours. Keep em coming! 😊
This is my first video. And might I say, these recipes look yummy. Thank you. Your boys are adorable. Kids and animals always takes a video to the next level. ❤
It's definitely my favorite compilation. I tried the quick chicken curry wow wow wow fast to prepare, and my kids loved it. Maria I love that you always include the recipes and always have lentils, chickpeas, and beans. Your kids are super cute. Tommy reminds me of my grandson. Julian loves to cook, and Ben keeps saying cheese. He cracks me up 😅
I love making soups usually vegetable soups and when there’s leftovers and there always is I add heavy cream and have a whole new supper delicious soup😊
Hello from British Gibraltar 🇬🇮 😍 I am new to your channel I love your recipes 😊 Benjamin is soooooo cute and so are your two other boys absolutely adorable 😊😍🥰
Love all that you are sharing. Just wish there were some/more that are dairy free. It is so hard to find good crockpot recipes that don't have dairy in them. Thank you for sharing. Enjoy your day. Catherine
You r such good cook it's not funny amazing what you do teach the young women how to cook great class iam 75 and still learning from you thanks from iowa
I go mid morning early afternoon after going to my physiotherapy appointment making it a round trip. As I am not a driver I am really lucky to be walking distance away. The worst time to go in our town is on a Friday late afternoon early evening when all the farmers bus in the off shore workers. Since they usually only come to town once a week the banks and stores are very busy. I live in a heavy farm based county.
These all look delicious and I am looking for more Crock Pot recipes since I am working from home now. I can’t wait to try the sliders, I love the low cost of shaved beef but I haven’t found a great recipe for it yet!
Thanks for sharing all your delicious sounding crockpot recipes. Crockpot cooking is my fave. However, at 39:31 the recipe is mis-named. It's kidney beans & rice. Red beans are a different bean. You should try them. They taste much better than kidney beans IMHO. Red beans are my go to beans. Soooo yummy. 😊❤
Lots of great recipes. Time stamps would be a game changer to help us get through a long video and relocate a particular recipe. I’m going to try that enchilada dish with the tortilla strips at 21:35.
Is there a list of the meals and a shopping list or recipe list? Also could you put in markers for each recipe so we can reference them when copying at home? 🙏
I made the Ritz cracker Chicken tonight - it was SO good. I really like the way the sauce is lighter because of the sour cream. I’m going to add broccoli and brown rice the leftovers for a casserole - I actually don’t like how heavy cheesy broccoli rice casseroles are, but this sauce is going to keep it light and zingy! Thank you for 31 great recipes!
Love your videos, but 1 hour & 23+ minutes is too long for me. I'm watching it in small increments of time, 15 to 20 minutes at a time. I will get through it! 🤣 The dishes I've seen so far look amazing! I love a good crockpot meal and get tired with my go to recipes. Thank you for sharing! Happy Crocktober Maria!
Some great recipes it's probably the best ever invention for busy working moms. Imagine just coming home from work and being served and all you do is critique the meal? LOL...well one half can imagine anyways.
the Ground Beef Enchiladas, when (and if) do you drain the grease?? I really want to make this today but then....we all know raw ground beef, when heated/browned thoroughly, puts out almost 1 cup of grease!
Is it possible for crockpot chicken skip the canned soup? Anyone tried? And skip the butter+Ritz crackers? If anyone did it, please let know how it works. Try to not use much butter (and canned food as well). Thank you
a pressure cooker or instant pot would work great too for these recipies. i did bbq chicken in the stovetop pressure cooker as i was very tired had clearance chicken to cook and hungry mouths to feed i think start to finish the chicken took 30 minutes then broiled 5 minutes the other night we had soup beans pintos with smoked turkey butt added in place of ham hock they took a bit longer but still done in an hour no pre soaking
def trying the meatball reciepe, i might add cheese! and maybe some french bread with butter on the side. You could also maybe make this a soup of some kind.
Please..How's about something with not so much salt...I used to cook that same way when my kids were little.. but now it's just me and my hubby..im old and sick plus I have heart disease ..thank you ❤
FYI...Kidney beans and Red beans are actually two different things and don't taste the same. Next time you should try to find actual red beans. Also the trinity, celery, bell pepper, and onion, as well as garlic should always be included. Smoked sausage or ham are good substitutes for andouille sausage.
@roxyfur The trinity is onion, bell pepper and celery for Cajun and Creole cooking. And red beans and kidney beans are not interchangeable. Do you actually know anything about Creole and Cajun cooking? If you did, you would know this
I watched this video looking for healthy recipes for my husband. He is recovering from a series of strokes and needs substantial, high calorie meals. I have to follow the doctor’s instructions as to salt content and not using any packaged mixes, powdered or otherwise. Your recipes are wonderful, but NOT for us. I wish I could use the packaged mixes, but the “additions” that are in all of the pre-seasoned mixes are the absolute worst for a patient like my hubby. I wish you would have some recipes that do not include the pre-mixed packages. I am really struggling with trying to get some good taste in with what he has to choose from. This has proved to be difficult at best! Anything you can come up with, or know about, would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
Anyone experienced gummy pasta when cooking in the crockpot. I tried to make a crock pot macaroni and cheese and the pasta was disgusting 🤮 ! Any tips on how to avoid this or best crockpot pastas? Thanks!! 😊
I always try to cook the pasta ahead or add it at the end! My crock pot Mac n cheese recipe has you cook the pasta and add it 1 hour before serving. mealswithmaria.site/5-ingredient-slow-cooker-mac-and-cheese/
I found u through brooke Southern frugal Mama i love theee vids do u have any ideas for low sodium low sugar crockpot meals i found out i have liver disease and kidney issues and a diabetic its a struggle especially when u love to cook
A tip I would give about salt is to cook from scratch and not use anything canned. Instead of cream of mushroom soup, chop mushrooms and cook them in a nonstick skillet and use equal parts unsalted butter and flour to make a roux, cook that a few minutes and whisk in milk - you have your own cream of mushroom soup. Use dry beans instead of canned (you will have to cook them yourself before adding to crockpot but you can freeze extra cooked beans for future recipes), and use frozen instead of canned vegetables. Good luck! PS I love Brooke too at SFM.
Your recipes sound easy and delicious. I did notice you use Campbells products.....many of them contain Bioengineered Food lngredients....not sure that you think about that but thought you may want to know.
Hi! New subscriber...I was just curious if anyone else noticed that the chicken that she got marked down was actually cheaper by the pound before it was on sale? How is that possible? I don't know if I would want to shop at that store anymore? It is at 49:09 in the video. Anyways lots of great recipes...thank you!
Great meals Thank you for sharing Just a little side note it's healthier to wash your meat Instead of pouring it from the packet Not meant to be mean Just trying to help

When you cook the whole apples. Cut the apple skin all around the middle. It will prevent the apple from falling apart

Hi you should t lock the lid while cooking. The lock is for when you are taking it somewhere.
Why? what difference does it make in the cooking?
FYI...Kidney beans and Red beans are actually two different things and don't taste the same. Next time you should try to find actual red beans. Also the trinity, celery, bell pepper, and onion, as well as garlic should always be included. Smoked sausage or ham are good substitutes for andouille sausage.
She made it just fine... and the trinity is celary, onion & carrots.

I would buy a PDF version of this collection if it were available. This video has a lot of views so I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Absolutely nothing wrong with paper plates! We use them almost every day!
Hey I am binge watching your shows but what do you think of the slow cooker option of instant pot? Is it as good as crockpots?
I’ve used it many times! Works just fine for me 😀

Does anyone have a recommendation for a substitute for the cream of onion soup can in recipes?
You can always make a roux and add milk or a fair free alternative with chicken boullion
Hi there. I wished you used fresh ingredients instaed of so processed food. I avoid cans in my meals

I’m going to see how many of these I can Veggitize.
Love it!!!
Anyone else rinse the blood and bone fragments off the meat before cooking?
My family don't like mushrooms. I do. I have to stay away from salt & things with high iron in it & low sugar.
Are these recipes for crockpot or insta-pot?
Hi I've tried the cubed beef and gravy in my crock pot but my meat came out very dry. Why did it do this? I don't think I missed a step.
Probably just cooked too long! Try to cut down the time by a few hours😀
Hi! New subscriber...I was just curious if anyone else noticed that the chicken that she got marked down was actually cheaper by the pound before it was on sale? How is that possible? The heat will kill the bacteria. If you wash it you are at risk of spreading it all over your kitchen.

I want to cry when you say the prices of meats lol $1.69 for chicken. We can't get chicken for less then $3.99 pp
I thought you were making red beans and rice as kidney beans are not red beans. I am sure your dish turned out well though.
