I like the fact it is a portable and humanized design. Gotta love reading descriptions written by someone who's primary language is not English. I love gadgets more than I should, at least more than I can afford, and I'd love to have this gadget, but there are other gadgets I need much more than I need this, a four channel Picoscope for example, but I'm sure going to be on the lookout for one of these. Maybe I can stumble across someone who is having financial difficulty who has one and is willing to let me take advantage of their misfortune. Hey, it's all about the gadgets, don't judge me. Thank you for the video.
Great info, thanks! Just picked up a very similar tester and and going to be cleaning and testing some older Jaguar injectors. This video super helpful seeing how it worked for you.
Injectors have a screen filter. I clean my injectors by mounting them upside down. That back flushes the injectors. Then I turn them right side up for flow testing.
Great video, thank you! I was just thinking that, as i have a spare fuel rail, a spare fuel pump and one of those smaller injector testing devices (that pulsate 2 injectors at a time) I'd try to rig up a similar machine. What could go wrong eh? 😅
@@GregWellwood oh yeah forgot to mention I have a stand-alone Ultrasonic cleaner and have been using it, just have no way to test/match the injectors before/after. Thanks for your reply!
For an LS? About $120 each, Canadian. I bought this machine for the price of four injectors. If I clean five injectors, I'm already winning. So far, I've cleaned 32 injectors.
@@8SecSleeper The LAUNCH cnc603a is a great machine .A friend has one its a great unit .we use it a lot for cleaning the injectors in our drag race modular ford 4.6 and 5.0 and LS engines .we clean/test the injectors after every weekend of racing .It makes a difference and these units are not very expensive.Watch what you run through the machine as test and cleaning solutions Some chemicals can damage the units. We use 92% or greater Alcohol on the test side and ultrasonic cleaner and distilled water in the ultrasonic cleaner tank side.
Vaseline on rubber seals - hope they are not rubber. Don't know why people risk using vaseline when atub of rubber grease will last a small workshop 50 years with zero risk to seals.

Love your channel, great information presented with practical application and explanation. Thank you!
Awesome job. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep teaching. Keep Making God Bless.

Totally doable. If you can find a cheap ultrasonic cleaner, that part is the magic.

by keeping injectors sideways, would be harmful to injectors or machine if the connectors get dip in solution while running ultrasonic cleaning?
No worse than being in and on an engine. I did find they clean better (quicker?) sideways than up-ended.
When you say injector cleaning and testing is 'pricey', what were the dollar figures you were quoted?
This machine cost the same as having eleven injectors cleaned.
If the connectors are Bosch EV1, then you just push the clip inwards, and it comes right off. No need to pry the metal bar off the connector.
There's a clip? I need to go take a closer look....
@@GregWellwood if it is the connector that I think it is, then you should have a metal bar/clip. Google Bosch EV1 connector.
Can i use an ultrasonic cleaner on my tbi injectors
Absolutely. If you have a method to pulse the injectors on and off, it would a LOT better.
So how much are new bosch injectors?

@@8SecSleeper Do you have a link? On Amazon there is one, but it's $950 CDN (probably $700US)

I think you just made a WORLD of dudes cringe by saying you had cut up a Hachiroku! hahaha
Hi.haw are you
Hello, is this device only for petrol injectors or also for diesel?
Vaseline on rubber seals - hope they are not rubber. Don't know why people risk using vaseline when atub of rubber grease will last a small workshop 50 years with zero risk to seals.
I use engine oil
Petroleum is the last thing you want on rubber.
