  • A bow hunt and spear hunt for sharks off the Louisiana coast was epic. This was one heck of an adventure with Captain Quinn himself. Off shore search for sharks with primitive weapons turned out to be a bloody good adventure for sure.

Mr Wells Sir, why did you have to kill that Lemon Shark there was no reason to kill the shark it is not a Man eater its basically a fish eater, and at the start of this Video you mention or maybe the bloke driving the air boat ya gotta have some brave balls to do this hunting. Well I figured you need people to subscribe so you sensationalise every thing you do to make hunters subscribe. I saw the video about you blowdarting Starlings and yes I agree they are a menace but to say if it was your last day on Earth you would love to spend it killing Starlings, and I know it is only a metaphor because one would spend there last day with loved ones and family surley. I cannot understand why you would have to Justify killing certain species! If you are a Hunter you should never have to justify what you are about to kill, please be real to your Fans and start by doing it on your next Vid please. We know when we are being Bullshitted its not cool be honest be truthful and above all be true to yourself please Tim,I know you can retort to my comment and I know you get lots of snowflakes trolling you and giving you hassle about murdering poor defenseless animals or Birds I am not one of them I assure you Tim I was a Hunter for Game in my youth I owned Guns,Bows,Fishing rods, catapults Blowguns as I was doing what you do 40 years ago until one day I went out Pidgeon Shooting with my 12 Bore over and under Barrels and about an hour into my shooting I came across 2 Wood Pidgeons in a tree kissing each other or as I would say Billing and Cooing and I said to myself what right do I have to kill such a Bird I felt bad I felt guilty. I packed up and went home kicking myself for all the Game I had killed over the years, I arrived home and straight away rang the police station and asked to speak to the firearms officer. He made an appointment to call at my house a week later and asked him to revoke my licence, and he could not fathom why on earth would I do such a thing he was basically telling me you will regret it, yet it took nearly 2 years to get my Gun licence, I told him I do not want to kill anymore he then gave me 2 weeks to sell my Guns because over here you have to show your licence to buy and sell Guns it hurt it really did and my shooting Buddys were aghast but I stuck to my Guns as they say over here. I took up Angling in my spare time and never killed another creature again. All the Best Sir and good hunting. Bob.

As a teenager I worked as deck hand on fishing charter boats out of Westport, Washington, at that time claimed to be the salmon fishing capital of the world. Of course, there were plenty of sharks feeding near the charter boats and, too often, taking huge bites out of the salmon fighting the fishermen's lines. One of the boats with six fishermen and the captain on board was mooching along while a poor fellow from Nebraska, seasick, was hanging over the rail puking into the water when a seven foot Bonita (Mako) Shark came shooting out of the water right next to the seasick guy and even bumped him before crashing down on the deck inside the boat. Needless to say, the shark was not remotely happy about this situation but neither were the fishermen and captain who were dancing around and trying to get to the bow of the boat as the 300 pound shark with a mouth full of razor teeth thrashed around destroying seats and biting anything that got near his mouth. When the shark finally flopped half into the cabin and was kind of stuck, the captain jumped down onto the deck and, grabbing a club, proceeded to beat the shark's head until it finally quit thrashing. Returning to harbor, the captain consulted a local shark expert about the bizarre behavior of the shark jumping into the boat, telling about the seasick Nebraskan's near miss with the shark. The shark expert posed a chilling theory that, since Mako sharks are known to take sea birds from just above the water's surface, the shark was jumping at the seasick man's white hat and barely missed biting his head off thinking it was a bird. The local papers posted pictures of the shark with his mouth open looking like a bucket of arrow heads while the lucky fisherman high tailed it back to Nebraska, as far from salt water as he could get. Jess

I'm not sure whether the spear wound will make the skin more or less appealing. If you mounted the whole thing, the wound might be a cool part of the story.

I would like to see Tim and Steve Rinella play a game of HORSE, but with hunting.
Also, I am pretty sure that old man is the last pirate king.

about 72 mil or 72 k sharks are killed a year and realeased back into the water without fins to die. So i hope u had not realeased it back into the water just so the waters pollution will get worse.

We are why we see the wildlife that nonhunyers see. We alone have brought back major species nearly lost to wholesale over hunting when it was unregulated.
